I don't think Kelsey Plum is objectively a 10 but she is definitely a 10
for a female athlete.
She has the vibe of the cute tomboy you grew up with, a kind of guy's girl, which while attractive, doesn't smack of ultimate female polarity.
I like her face, and she seems cool, and I mostly like her body.
I don't like a woman to have a tight stomach like a dude though.
She is masculine for a woman, but not for a female basketball player. She really doesn't look that comfortable in the glamour poses, and her body language and facial expressions can be more a challenge than a come hither experience.
Look at this video where she scores 54 points in a game in college. (Watch on mute unless you like annoying female commentators.)
She still plays like a female and not like a counterfeit male, which I like. Basically, she has an athletic left arm, and hits set shots.
I am not sure whether I would like to be with a woman like this in reality or just like the idea of her, kind of as a novelty.
Take for example the girl in this video. She has the same intense facial features as Plum, but she is so much more feminine. Look at how she is all reaction, how she reacts to the bird, to the person behind the camera, to the fact that the bird won't say what she wants.
Just as beautiful as Plum, but her emphasis isn't on her own achievements, but on others. Look at how she watches the bird, rewards it, how much she likes it, and what a sweet personality she has.
She is just supportive and encouraging and takes everything in stride and is quick to laugh in a friendly way.
Don't get me wrong, I love a girl who can play ball, and was impressed with her throw, but it was its novelty and not it pure attractiveness that was compelling. And Plum is a beautiful girl for sure.
I just couldn't call her a 10.
