Hinge App - Better Than Tinder?

Hinge App - Better Than Tinder?

Hinge sucks for me in the Midwest. Also once I set filters and run through girls there may be anywhere from 0-3 new girls a day on it and usually are instant removes.

Its been a little busier the last week - I think girls are starting to come out of their winter hibernations

Hinge App - Better Than Tinder?

I just started using this here in Philadelphia. There are the few usual attention-whoring 7+ girls and then an astoundingly high number of busted or fat girls. 2 matches in 2 days so I'm not holding my breath.

Also, does anyone know if the girls that show up have filtered for a group that I would be in?

Thats a good question, also curious to that answer for that. And the max I see on my hinge out here is 6's with the majority seeming to be girls that couldn't cut it on tinder some how LOL.

The pace on Hinge was just too slow for me. I get the feeling girls just don't fire the app up very often and don't keep up with the interactions.

Hinge seems to be drying up in NYC for the 8+ market. When I first downloaded I had an abundance of 8's, now they are very rare.

It looks like for the most part that high end dating is migrating to Instagram. Dating apps are either funnels to instagram or for those not attractive to get enough attention on IG.

These days Tinder works only if you have GOLD+boosts. That might be good for well off guys, but the usual broke guys looking for 'cheap pussy' are literally out of game.

Hinge seems OK, however attracts at the moment women who have failed in every app.

I was averaging about 2 matches a day on Hinge, but I scrapped it yesterday. Girls were just not responding to anything or the "conversation" would die very shortly. Clearly my value on the app (and Bumble and Tinder) isn't high enough to get anything for the kind of women that I want. I'm done with online apps in the US and I haven't really had much success when pipelining in the countries that I've visited either.

Even pipe lining you won't necessarily get super great quality. Sure every once in a while you can get a catch off tinder over seas or something but the real quality is when youre actually boots on ground for longer periods of time and can spend some time growing a social circle or having a regular spot with better logistics.

Pipelining I've found requires a lot of effort. Your best bet is taking 4 weeks at least in your city of choice and using the apps while you're there. It takes a while to gain any kind of traction. You can spend weeks pipelining before you fly out only for some of these leads to fade out or balk at an actual meeting. So much wasted time.

My buddy is using Hinge in Chicago and absolutely killing it. I think he pipelined for 2 weeks and ended up with 50 matches there were 7s or better with minimal flaking. Maybe he had that success because he didn't live there

I’m used hinge in NYC recently and got literally no likes. Rewind to two months ago and i got two dozen likes. Does hinge have too many dudes on it now? I still got matches but half the time it was from chicks that didn’t even live there and a few fake profiles sprinkled in. I have never been a swipe monster on any app so it wasn’t an issue of me running out of people to like.

I think and correct me if I’m wrong but I think there maybe too many men on hinge now and the app isn’t suited well for the influx of men.

I’m pipelining for Miami right now and I’m getting much faster matches using tinder. Not sure what is going on

Hinge is good for a free app. Coffee meets bagel is good, too. Happn is okay.

Tinder and Bumble are useless without spending a fortune now.

Personally I think your profile gets buried after they've hooked you in as a paying member. The number of matches I got on both services dropped rapidly within hours of subscribing, so I cancelled subscriptions to both after paying for one month of premium.
