The Asian Guy Travel Thread

I'm an Asian-American guy and have DEFINITELY realized one thing over the years: I attract women at an INCREDIBLY higher rate outside of the United States, United Kingdom, and Australia.
I experienced this in Europe most of all where I was able to lay French, German, Italian, and Austrian girls without even trying very hard.
Basically, half the work was already done for me as they found me instantly attractive, and all I had to do was just not mess it up. Eastern European girls were even EASIER.
In terms of looks, I'm 6'1", dress pretty sharp in a Euro-style, speak multiple languages, and am financially well-off. I'm sure this also helped set myself apart from all the backpacking Americans in baggy J.Crew/Gap clothes living out of hostels.
I'd be interested to hear other Asian-American guys' experiences on this topic as I'm now looking at a place to base myself out of "forever." This decision was made easier by looking at all the American women in my area act like men, have saggy asses, and strut around like prizes when they can't even hold a candle to the European girls I've dated and who were CRAZY about me.
Some places I'm considering are Prague, Lausanne/Geneva (if I can make more money), and Vienna. I'm trying to find a nice balance between hot women in a cool, cosmopolitan, and vibrant environment. Eastern European babes are HOT without a doubt, but I don't want to live in a totally grey, bland post-Soviet city just to get some ass.
Thanks.

Hey, welcome to the forum.
There is one, or several, threads about this. One I can immediately think of is "Asian American Guy Travel Ratings."
I did a Lithuania, Finland, and Estonia trip last winter that was based on a suggestion of a cool dude I met on a diff forum. Your comments overall seem correct, although the positive reaction from the women was met by a similarly negative reaction from dudes in these post soviet countries.

Thing is that many EU girls are into this 'anime' stuff and are obsessed with Japan/Korea.

I like reading this stuff. Even though I am not Asian. (I am south asian american). Its funny how the negative asian stereotype is so prevalent in the common law/anglo countries, wtf is up with that? I grew up around some pretty cool asian dudes in southern cali and lived in Japan where I met a lot of cool dudes who were good looking guys and got ass on the reg.
If I were of Asian descent, I would also try some Hispanic countries. Also don't sleep on Asia itself. Asian girls, IMO, were way hotter in Japan and Taiwan than they were in the US, and nicer, cuter, more feminine and quicker to fuck. I noticed Asian-American guys doing some serious damage out in Japan, cuz ur the best of both worlds in those girls' eyes.

I am very into Latin women and can speak some Spanish so LA is definitely on my to-do list.
Panama and Chile in particular are interesting to me, although I have no idea what the women are like.

I'm Asian. My own experience is similar : when I was in Eastern Europe, South America and of course Asia LOL, it was just much much easier to get girls than in Canada.
I'm also looking for a new job now : in Europe or in Brasil.

Any Asian guys here able to comment on their South America experiences?
SA glorifies the White man so I'm not sure it would necessarily be good for the Asian guy.

I hear about Colombia and Brazil a lot in terms of both women and emerging business opportunities.
VP, I know you are not an Asian dude but do you have any idea how they would fare down there?
I assume looks and wealth are more important than race in general, although Whites are clearly at the top of the pecking order there.

I'm also a software developer and my VP has signed off on me working remotely since it's already being done by several other members of my team. This makes me incredibly optimistic since I love my work, my company is growing rapidly, and I could see my future completely secured in 4-5 years with the stock options I am vesting right now.
For anyone who has lived in Europe for a long time now, would a "playboy" lifestyle be possible on a US income of approximately $110,000 per year? (and bonuses)? If so, in which countries?

Came back from SA this year
Went through 3 places: peru, bolivia, argentina.
I'm Asian 6' 185lbs athletic.
Peru. In general I found people staring at me as I was walking down the street. Sometimes it would be blatant and sometimes you'd catch them glancing just as they were passing. Went to a gringo hookup club (help) in Lima and Gotica the posh nightclub in downtown Lima. I was 1/10 at help in opening. the only girl that would entertain a conversation was a peruvian japanese girl who was fairly plain. I saw two tall blonde guys leaving the establishment with girls at the end of the night.
Gotica... man. By far the hottest girls I've ever seen packed into an establishment. $50 USD cover which we managed to bypass. To understand Gotica, you have to understand Peru. 97% of the people I saw in Peru were aboriginals. However, all the billboards, ads, etc.. have white people on them. The upper crust of Peru is basically white people and those are the people that frequent Gotica paying that crazy cover. They could care a flying fuck about foreigners and they know that guys just come down to look to sex. Thus, every girl I tried talking to just simply turned away as soon as I opened my mouth. The only receptive one was a darker aboriginal girl who just wanted my money. You want to hunt down the darker girls with broken english. If they're perfectly fluent, generally I found that they have pedigreed upbringing and aren't interested in foreign losers. The odd thing was I saw couple of local asian guys there with hot girls.
Cuzco. I just visited the gringo bars near the main square. If you like average or subpar girls by all means it's doable. Some of them were receptive.
Peru conclusion: Status is king. Being asian doesn't really seem to help or hurt as the foreigner thing overrides it. If you're a tall white guy it definitely helps. You could probably do well with the local aboriginals but that mostly has to do with being a foreigner rather than race. You need to be ingrained in the local scene (not passing through) in order to snag an upper class girl.
Bolivia. Just briefly passed through just to see the salt flats
Argentina. Went through Salta, Cordoba, Rosario, and BA.
It seems the whole country is sexually conservative. Guys I've met who have spent a long time there find it's harder to hookup than the US. That being said Cordoba has by far the hottest concentration of girls I've seen in one area. I went out with 6'+ blond white guys frequently and they would definitely get more attention than me. Some of these guys had zero conversational skills but they still managed to pull avg or subavg girls as occasionally a girl would attack them which is unusual in Argentina. One night that we did end up at a girl's place a girl who made a slant eye face at me earlier wanted to make out.
Argentina Conclusion: Argentina is complicated but undoubtedly subtly racist and I think being asian takes you down a notch. All the locals in every country during my whole trip kept mentioning that Argentines look down upon the whole continent and it's true. A korean-argentine friend who grew up in BA confirms the subtle racism. Then of course you tell them their country is a shittier version of europe to take them down a peg and it leaves them confused. If you're looking for the sex go somewhere else.
However... The argentines (not in BA) have to be some of the most warmest and generous people around. We'd frequently end up at random parties at night just because people were being friendly. Random people would want to strike up conversations and buy you beer. Way more friendly than anywhere in the US. The racism definitely isn't overt from the perspective of rich country backpacker.
The weird thing about the whole damn trip was that the most success I had was with the european hostel girls which makes me curious about europe in general. I think the trick is visiting places where they don't have a strong stereotype.
I also think that white guys should be thankful of quirks of history. Specifically colonialism for putting them in high status all across the world =).

Thanks for that fantastic write-up bro!
Just confirms all of my impressions. Europeans girls are DEFINITELY more open and some are DOWNRIGHT eager to hook up with fly looking Asian-American guys.
South American girls, not so much, although I never had much interest in South American girls in the first place. This just makes me not want to go there at all.
Time to buy that ticket over to Europe and get to work!

Well remember this midKnight: You are exotic there, the media over there doesn't clown on Asian dudes like it does here and Europeans are open to things like that.

MidKnight: You can live very comfortably pretty much anywhere on 110k a year. I mean of course if you are in London. NYC or Tokyo, you might not be driving a Ferrari and rocking Armani suites every day, but you will still be living fairly well. Far better than most people in any major city in the world,
Now take out the 3-4 majorly expensive cities in the world and you can live very well in pretty much any of the other cities in the world.
Good thing about many European cities is that you don't even need a car and are not expected to own one. Use your money to travel don't waste it trying to be a "play boy" with the huge gas guzzler, tons of material things etc. . Think experiences, travelling, living in an old house, or a flat near castles or some other legendary scenary instead of a brand new pad with a satelite and 3 huge flat screens, busy crowded streets (US ideal)..think new hobies, new music, new perspective and last but not lease new pussy.

Keep in mind 2 things.
1) I didn't visit columbia or brazil the two places where people have had great things to say. Peru is completely doable. It's cheap but you'd have to establish yourself in the local culture there. A hostel owner and I talked in Lima and he had come to the same conclusions as I.
2) My european sample size is very small <9. But from UK I got mostly ambivalence like I was in the US. German/Swedish were more receptive.
