Pretending to be a Celebrity Prank

There isn't a word for how pathetic I find these people. Their lives are so empty and meaningless that they eagerly jump at the barest opportunity to associate themselves - however fleetingly - with someone they assume to be famous. They feel that by having a picture with this famous person (who they have never actually even seen before, but who they just assume is famous based on social cues) and posting it on social media, their own lives will somehow be enriched and their friends will think more highly of them.
There's just a complete and utter lack of self-awareness, not to mention self-respect. None of these people stop to ask themselves why they feel the need to take a picture with someone famous. It's just a reflexive reaction when they see someone they assume to be of a higher social station than themselves. They are modern day serfs who live to bend the knee to their superiors, and who willingly debase themselves for the tiniest bit of contact with their betters. They are sheep constantly in search of a shepherd.
Churchill said that a five minute conversation with the average voter was the best argument against democracy, but nowadays you don't even need that. You can just watch a YouTube video like this to observe that the vast majority of people are completely incapable of self-government. It's clear especially when you see a video like this that humans are instinctively hierarchical social creatures. Democracy, then, is truly an aberration from the norm. It is monarchy and slavery that have dominated history. You watch this, and observe the pathetic, obsequious nature of most people, and it's easy to see why.

yeah you can tell how ignorant some people are by watching this. SMH! I laugh how the guy at the end started kissing ass to the Prince.

I don't have a problem with people wanting to associate with and take pictures with real celebrities. Real celebrities in this case, do not refer to those who just appear on a TV screen but someone who has actually accomplished something and has added value to this world. I'll gladly take a picture with a Malcolm X or a Ron Paul to show my approval of their accomplishments.

haha no way.
I understand the curiosity because there is a crowd of people and something is happening, but everything else just screams shallowness. Fuck it, I'll get a tan, I'm already jacked, and I'll try to see how to pull off these type of clothing without looking like a fag.
