Jakarta Datasheet

I'm new to the forum although I've been reading it for some time now. So as my contribution I've decided to write this small datasheet on one of my favorite cities in the world to go game.

I'm a well traveled man, I know a good part of Europe, South East Asia and North America and from my experience, Jakarta is bliss for those who thrive in night game such as me. I usually resort to night game because I tend to travel a lot and day game tends to consume a lot of time and the expectation that you have sometime available in the near future. So although I might agree that for day game there might be far better places in the world, for me night game capital is Jakarta.

First of all the first thing to understand about this huge city is just that it is huge. A 10+ million population, tropical climate and a huge dispersion make it a city where you have to know where to go. It is just not possible to stroll around the city looking for a good place to go out, have dinner or whatever is your goal.

I've been there on holidays twice, and had some friends living there so I got the tour from knowledgeable people in the area.

Moving around the city:
To move around you need a taxi. There is no good public transportation and driving your own car is just not worth it in this city. Grab a taxi, make sure he is not ripping you off.
Taxi drivers are usually not very smart people, at the same time in Indonesia they are made to drive for more that 14 hours straight sometimes, so it's only normal they might be on opium or just to tired to be able to focus on your request or take the right route. Take this into consideration and watch what he is doing. My advice? at the airport get a prepaid phone SIM card with data. Put it in your mobile phone and track the taxi driver's itinerary through google maps.

Money
Jakarta is a cheap city in essence but if you're a hard nigh player you can spend a lot. I spent about average 100$ a night, but this was often going out to the most expensive restaurant in town, getting to a club, buying drinks for everyone or sharing a bottle with friends.

-A bootle will go for about 150$-250$
-Nice dinner can take you 50$ or 5$ depending on where you want to go. (I'm not even including street food which might be something like 2$ but give you a diarrhea that will knock you out for 2 months.)
-Club entry is cheap or free. Most I've paid was something like 10$.
-Regular drinks go for about 10$.

Restaurants
There are some very nice restaurants in Jakarta. Your game can start right there. I don't remember the name's of some places I went to but a place to keep in mind is Loewy. This place is an expat place. It's crowded with exceptional girls (7+). Only expats and high end indonesians can be found here. The food is great but you can expect to pay around 50$ or more for a meal. The reason I mention this place is because you can start to game here. Very often rich Jakarta girls come here and might take you with them onwards to a club.
Another place worth mentioning is SKYE - a great place for sushi and other fusion food (also expensive).

Clubs

Cubbing in Jakarta is awesome. There are some really big clubs. You can hit them all week round and there will always be a party. You can also find different styles but the music will never deviate a lot from flavors of house to dubstep.
Places worth mentioning:
-Red Square - It's a nice small russian vodka club filled with hotties. It has a cat walk where girls will dance in their fragmented clothes for you. It's not a strip club, its just a club in Jakarta.
-Dragon Fly - This is a high-end medium sized club that is usually attended by the richest in Jakarta. You will probably see the average mafia boss with a table full of champagne and girls. Don't be intimidated. Single and free high end girls can still be found here. Hottest night here is Wednesday.
-X2 - My favorite. A huge two storey club where you can listen to house or prog house. This place is great for the weekend and is just across the street from Red Square. So a great move is to start out on Red Square and move here after that.
-Stadium - huge underground club. This place is more for those who want the dub scene and a place full of people on drugs. Pretty dark but it really has a blow of energy in store for you. (keep an eye on your wallet here). I only went here once, with a cat and really liked it, you get the feeling you are really at the People's club. (But maybe that was just her great ass wrapped up in a red Miami style dress rubbing against me...)

Girls
What makes Jakarta so great? Girls.
Okay so you have to somewhat like asian girls of course because this is the majority here. However you will still find the expats if that's what you're aiming for. The problem is these girls just fade into the dark near Indonesian girls. Indonesian girls are so powerful and so blunt in getting themselves ready to blow your brains out that very often the expat girl is just sitting in the bar or in a corner watching the world pass by.

Jakarta girls hunt for foreigners, more particularly tall white ones. It doesn't really matter if you are rich or poor, they just want a piece of exotic flesh and of course penises with a few inches more than what's available on local market.

You don't often see couples hanging out at clubs. Girls go there to hook up and have fun with guys. When you see a girl with guys, it's probably her friend and even he sometimes will help you get the booty.

So this really gets easy. You can basically approach any girl you want. They will always be friendly and if they really like you they will grab you right there and keep you for themselves so that the other "bitches" don't get you.

My night game in Jakarta has a success rate of about 70%. In total I've had about 8 nights out in Jakarta, and on 6 I banged or could have at least.

In terms of looks the Indonesian girls can get to be pretty awesome. Usually they will be short but there is always the exception, usually they will be a bit dark, but there is always the exception. They dress up in Miami kind of way - short tight dresses, high heels and heavy makeup. It suits me.

Another plus is they are very good in bed generally speaking. They are asian and as such submissive and want to please. Also, the blowjob or even anal is kind of assumed to be part of intercourse if you like so you can get as wild as you want with them and that can only get you points.

These girls can even get interesting on the next day. Most of them, that go clubbing at night are medium to high end girls and money is not a problem. They will want to keep in touch and fly over to meet you in Bali or just hang out wherever you want to go and drive you around. They are well educated and usually getting their masters so they tend to be good company and good conversation if you're up to it.

Overall Jakarta is great to party at night. During the day it gets boring and not much to do. I've always been there passing by on the way to Bali or Lombok. But I still think it's worth it passing by. If you are in transit and stop over in Jakarta, stay for a night or two. You'll get a great night out with your friends, witness some of the best club scenes in the world and..... get the bang.

Great sheet on the top spots in Jakarta. I think this is a way under rated major Asian city for sure.

Great post/data sheet on a city that will be a must go to on my next Asia mini retirement! +1 from me!

Specially liked the part below which is like the sweetest of music to my ears![Image: smile.gif]
I've heard and seen pics of Indonesian girls and some of them can be very exotic which can make them quite stunning at times!
Btw, you mentioned Bali, how's the talent there? I've been hearing a ton of great things about Bali, specially lifestyle wise and quality of life, but was wondering about girls, mainly locals as I have no interest whatsoever in expats or gringas.

I lived in Bali. Awesome place, really enjoyed living that type of lifestyle for a while. The local talent however is nothing in comparison to what you will see in Jakarta. Bali has tons and tons of Bule (foreigners), around 3,000,000 a year! The local Balinese people are great but as you can imagine you are nothing special with that many tourist. Jakarta doesn't see hardly any of those tourist and your exotic value is way higher.

When I was living in Bali I would say 70% of every girl I hooked up with was from Jakarta and on holiday.

Lifestyle = Bali
Girls = Jakarta

Vacancier, a great journey is roaming and lingering in provincial Java -and travelling by train (trains are extremely comfortable). Something like Surabaya - Malang - Solo - Yogja - Semarang - Cirebon - JKT (or Yogja - Bandung - JKT). The bule attraction is high in provincial Indonesia, girls are super flirtatious and easy-going, costs are low (per exemple the Novotel Semarang has rates around 35€) and you cross the most beautiful landscapes of Asia, from the wild jungles of East Java to the tea plantations of the sundanese (Bandung) region - not even talking of the volcanoes (some 50 in Java), the temples, ect. The Bandung - JKT journey is especially spectacular. It is a trip that can be made in three weeks, but honestly, I personally could stay two weeks in each city (I especially like Malang, Solo, Yogja and Semarang - but Bandung also is highly enjoyable and as a side note, the sundanese chicks have the reputation to be some of the hottest of the Archipelago, on par with Manado chicks).

Anyway Doc-J is spot on, JKT is the bomb. And indonesian girls are definitely the most gorgeous (and the easiest) of SEA.

In JKT you have to stay in an area like Senayan or Plaza Indonesia, where there is upscale malls around for daytime game. Senayan is IMO the best, as there is several malls (Plaza Senayan, FX, Senayan City Mall) and more nightlife options. In this area, the Mulia is a great hotel, if you have the budget for a five stars.

@Bubbs, I stayed at my cousin's house so I'm really not a good source for that. I know there are hotels for every budget. Just try to stay in the center. You will have to taxi everywhere anyway as everything is so disperse in this huge city.

@Vacancier As mentioned by DirectDanger, Bali is full of tourists. Especially Kuta which is plagged by aussies and not even the nice ones. However, Bali is pretty big and in my opinion is great for day game in beach club like Ku De Ta and PotatoHead. These are the places to go in the afternoon and watch the sunset. Beware, there is a dress code - no wifebeaters after 4 pm, but they will gladly lend you a tshirt at the door.
Generally speaking I recommend you to stay in Seminyak. This is a more high end place than Kuta and will cost you a bit more, however you will get rid of the student fest in Kuta and will be able to experience a chill out vibe. At night go to club Mint (classy) or Pyramid (slutty).
I think in general Balinese girls are the most beautiful in Indonesia, however they are used to be played by tourists and will not be an easy catch. Usually at night you will pickup the Jakarta girls spending the weekend or maybe a classy tourist such as yourself. [Image: smile.gif]

By the way, day game in Jakarta takes place in the mall as mentioned before as well. Indonesians love malls. During the day, just find the biggest mall close to you and go for a stroll or lunch.

I'm heading to Jakarta next week. Will probably stay about 2 weeks.
Mainly encouraged on the strength of Fisto and Co's reports.

Unfortunately, I realise its Ramadan, but its just the way my schedule is, so hope for the best.

Not sure what to expect with Ramadan. A surprising number of the girls on DIA list as Christian or other religion.

Somebody also told me that most of them are Muslims in the same way that we are Christians in most Western countries. i.e. Fairly token.

Doc J: Any thought on the Ramadan aspect?

Have started pipelining on Date in Asia and already got some positive responses. Never used it before.

I tend to use the "Cupid" range of sites for various countries, with some success, but haven't got around to paying up for the IndonesianCupid site yet.

BTW, I'm an older guy. Targets are early 30's, with any 20's as a bonus.

You can expect that the clubs will close at 2 during Ramadan. DIA is good in Indonesia, but its usually 25-30+ yr old girls there as opposed to 20-25 in some other SEA countries.

I am seriously considering going to Indonesia for a couple of weeks starting from November 23 this year. Probably not 100% of the time in Jakarta, but definitely want to check out the clubs there. Who else is up for it? Let's organize a forum meetup there and have a fucking blast!

Keep in mind that November is rainy season in Indonesia. Also, the main part of the city being below sea level, severe flooding hit JKT almost every year (when heavy rains happen to coincide with high tides or when there is run off from rains in upland areas such as Bogor flowing down). If you are unlucky it might happen that you show up during one of those flooding - then your stay is fucked-up.

As I said above, Malang, Solo, Yogja (not so for the girls, more for the atmosphere), Semarang and Bandung. Manado is also great (Manado and Bandung chicks have the reputation to be the hottest of the Archipelago), but a serious sense of adventure is required to travel to North Sulawesi.

Not as busy as JKT, as you can imagine, but still rather good. Keep in mind that Bandung has a population of 2.5 millions, Semarang of 1.5 million, ect. Clubs are usually happening only on weekends, but even on weekdays you find many cafes, bars, quite busy. In Solo and Semarang, hotel bars are great weekdays options. Per exemple in Solo, I used to go to the DJ music bar (forgot the name) that is in the basement of "Quality Hotel Solo", which is really like the CJs of Solo - but smaller of course. Classy place, a lot of unescorted females (admittedly, some of them semi-pros) and the singers in the band were hot too ...the girls there were mostly very good looking, some even were beautiful, and even on weekdays nights there was a decent crowd. There is a similar place in the Novotel. In Semarang also, the Novotel bar was great.

Bandung and Yogja also have some very good nightlife options. Especially Bandung, where there is huge glam clubs (like Mansion Club) that can compete with Jakarta

When I talk about "beautiful girls", I talk about girls at least of Anggun level (tall, curvaceous, with beautiful faces, well-dressed, ect). I've had very lofty scores in provincial Indonesia.

As a side note, Bandung, Semarang and Malang are very enjoyable cities to stroll around. Many old Dutch colonial buildings, tree-lined streets, ect. Solo is nice, but not as enjoyable, and Yogja is ...well, Yogja, a magic place.

I can vouch for Bandung. I spent some time there years ago and really enjoyed it. It is up in the mountains and has a much more moderate temperature which is always a nice change. I would almost compare to Chiang Mai in Thailand.

Lots of Universities which is a huge plus.

Bandung is great. The "Paris of Java" as they say. Much more enjoyable than Chiang Mai IMO - and 10 times bigger.

Not even talking of the Sundanese cuisine.
