Posted up my first ad, and received 3 legitimate replies (confirmed by searching for the user's full name in email header, on facebook).

You assume correctly. The reason they do that is the spam filters are text based and get trained to trigger off known bad text, and those email addresses would trigger the filter.

Also if they quote back parts of your post to you, that's a good sign that it's spam.

Basically, if you're going to do stuff on Craigslist, you're better off using a throwaway gmail account.

I'm having the problem that my ads get flagged.
I don't know if its autoflag or someone flagging my ad.
One add did stay long enough that I got 2 girls reply.
They didn't seem fake. And on the first round of reverse image search, the pictures didnt come up.
But then my add got deleted..and both girls stopped replying. I don't know if its because they thought I was fake.. or they were bots themselves.

Can anyone with experience in this PM the type of add your posting? I'll PM the one that keeps getting flagged.
