I'm not sure. Probably a lot of the big fish were locked away with 3 strikes. Maybe it had the effect of cutting the head off the snake. And the decline of gangsta rap probably had an influence as well. A lot of these young kids who would've been in tagging crews or gangbanging are now in crews of fixed gear cyclists. LAPD has also cracked down on a lot of shit too, like cruising. Throw in gentrification of formerly bad areas like Ecco Park and downtown and I guess it should be no surprise.

L.A. from '88 to '97 was a fucked up place. It's nothing like it used to be. Back then I never thought I'd see the day that white girls would be walking alone in downtown at night.

I notice that younger guys like to go in and make approaches like mad. They get annoyed or say I'm not "working hard enough" because I just sit back for a while. So I don't like going out with young guys that much.

They also get jumpy and try leaving venues if something isn't happening RIGHT NOW. One of my proteges wanted to leave a pool party. I said, "If we leave, there's a 100% chance nothing happens." An hour later I delivered him a kill that he fucked in the stair well at the Standard Hotel.

I prefer getting a feel for the landscape, standing by the bar, relaxing. Girls who want opened will always choose to order a drink by going to the section of the bar where I'm standing. It's also kind of a dick move to linger around the bar once you have your drink, so people wonder why you have so much attitude.

Or I'll stand in a high traffic area, wait for the girl to pause, and then pounce.

Gazelles run around in circles and make fidgety movements. Lions lay around and wait for the prey to be close enough, because lions are fast-twitch muscled animals meant for quick sprints and kills, not marathons.

That's pretty much all I do when I go out at night. I don't even really do club or dance game. First I'm not a great dancer, and second, I need conversational rapport and hate shouting over loud music. A lounge with some good social energy, but not music so loud you can't hear yourself think is perfect. I'll post up near a pinch point at the bar with my standard Tanqueray and tonic and make casual conversation with girls that come up.

This was me 2 yrs ago , I had to Approach every single piece of Bangable Ass and as soon as I see her. Hanging out with Parlay in NYC and I wanted to Inject some Epinephrine in his Butt as he to speed him up as he was Slower then Molasses but quickly realized I was the one who was too hyper. Parlay Walks slow, talks slow and purposely and girls listen to what he has to stay, Dude has presence, Again hard to explain on paper , you just had to see.

There are many more examples, believe me I have pounded the Street and done every single mistake and actively correct the mistakes as pointed out by other members as you can read here.

It certainly helped my Game, If I was getting 1-2 numbers out of ten on an average, Now I get 1-2 out of 5 Approaches, I am approaching far less but much more effectively.

How Do I combat the Itch to Approach: I know for a fact that I do better when I slow down, Look around, Observe and see if she is waiting for some one, Have a closed Vibe , looking repeatedly on the phone, Looks like she's Nervous as about to go for a Job Interview and is in a Business Suit etc etc etc.

Gandt My friend I suggest you take a day out and just Observe girls at Starbucks, Uni Campus etc ,Cold read them and try to predict what they are going to do in the next 15 min or so, Try to deduce the story without them taking to you. I'm sure you will be pleasently surprised.

I challenge any man to go out of his perceived "normal" environment and get as much tail as he believes he can from experience elsewhere.

The night scene in any medium-to-large city has varying places with different women. One womans hot piece of stuff is anothers "urgh, such a jock" or "urgh, hipster..eww"

The mainstream clubs that have a lot of women I want to get with are not my cup of tea. I go to the places that play rock/punk/alternative and even dubstep. These places have women which will just find you un-appealing because of the way you look.

Corp in Sheffield UK is a good example of this. I basically look like a jock because I look after myself, I have no tattoos/piercings and my hair is cut short with a bit more on top.

I have pulled women here but you need to set yourself apart from the men you may be associated with normally otherwise you're going to fall flat on your face and wonder why these really good looking alternative chicks dont get into you.

Ali, I haven't heard of the concept of time reframe before. Could you please cover it a bit more?

Time reframing means putting everyone on your timeline. Women have preconceived notions of time, but they fail miserably at keeping it. They have it their heads when they are getting a first kiss, losing virginity, graduating college, marriage, first kid, ect. Have you ever noticed that they are always running behind? They're not wired like we are, and it is a weakness we can exploit.

A girl goes in a bar to meet a friend. In her head this evolution is going to last 2 hours (9-11), with 2-3 drinks, then she says bye to her friend and goes home alone. At this point you have two choices:

1. Open and stay on her timeline. When 11:00 rolls around, her hamster will tell her it's time to go home. Now you are fighting an uphill battle.

2. Escalate, then bounce her to another venue BEFORE the hamster ruins your night at 11:00. Now she's having to reset her time, and will get on your clock.

I also do this in the professional world. If I'm looking at several jobs at once, I manipulate them to fit my time. When the best job is dragging their feet, I sweat them to get an offer quicker. If the lesser attractive jobs are rushing, I sabotage their hiring system until things slow.

Again, everyone thinks shit is going to plan. Make your own plan and put them on it.

Another example. Girl asks for a lighter outside the bar. In her head this will be a 10 second evolution, then she'll turn to talking to her friend again. Don't do this. Acknowledge, turn away slightly, slowly reach in pocket, pull out Zippo, play with it. Ask her a question somewhere in here to increase the clock.She'll be waiting, and starting to forget her conversation with her friend. Wait for her to remind you she wants a light, then flick her bic. Now it's been over 30 seconds or better, or a minute if you're a natural ADD like me. Now she's on your clock. Do as you will.

I once heard myself on video. I didn't like the sound so much. My voice was too high pitched. Also, I spoke too fast and was hard to understand. I didn't pause to let ideas "soak in". My tone, and cadence, and pace were in need of an upgrade.

I was kind of poor, I listened to alot of rap music, I spoke like a wanna-be gangster. I needed to upgrade my communication style.

I started to speak more from the belly and less from the throat. (I learned that from opera singers)
I started to project my voice better (I like this from great public speakers)
I learned better pacing, better tone, better cadence.
