I'm talking about transforming from beta to alpha, and how to visualize the change. Why? Because if you can visualize the change, then you will know what to expect at different stages. Knowing what to expect can help alleviate (or prevent) suffering when you get rejected and also gives you knowledge that can be used to harness your energy towards efficiently getting better.
I'm making this thread to help newbies and also to get perspectives from more experienced players on what to expect at different levels.
So, based on my experience and knowledge, here's what I've concluded- a general framework..
The first step is to level the playing field.
One of the reasons why most girls have so much power over the majority of guys in the game is that they have a great deal more experience being in the game than average guys. By the time she's twenty three, a girl with decent looks has been hit on by thousands of guys.
To begin to level the playing field, guys have to start working with the same kind of numbers that girls are working with. You have to approach a number of girls equal to the number of guys that have approached her. Roosh talks about this on his post about getting 8s and 9s: you have to increase your numbers.
So, just to break even, you need to actively introduce game into every interaction you have with women as well as pro-actively approach many women.
If you want to go beyond breaking even with decent looking girls, you need to double your efforts. Double the numbers and you double your experience and will most likely double you knowledge and skills as well.
Essentially, you want to have the same kind of sexual freedom that a decent looking girl has. Almost any girl can post up at a bar and get sex on almost any given night. If you are really serious about getting better game I'd set this as a bench mark. Flip the script so that you are the one who can go out and get laid when you want to.
I'm almost at that level. I've been averaging about one or more new girls every week this year. However, it's not always consistent. My goal is to get a better level of consistency.
Once you've leveled the playing field, you will probably have enough confidence/game to start to turn the tables.
By turning the tables, you are not only competing equally with women in the sexual market place, you are becoming the one that is rejecting girls. How to do this? Well, you have to go beyond just doubling or trippling numbers I believe. You have to arrange your life so that you are constantly surrounded by attractive women.
But, this is not actually aimed at getting the attractive women. This is to generate such massive pre-selection that the decent looking girls are going to be throwing themselves at you. This is like promoter/DJ/photographer game.
Since I'm not at the third stage, I can only conjecture, but I believe that it involves either Being Famous or doubling the number of high level girls that surrounded you.
At this point, you've turned the tables on decent looking girls, and now are surrounded by more attractive ones. Attractive girls need to see you not only as their equal in value, but as greater in value than them. This is where I believe you can start to capitalize on the enormous amount of charisma you built up from the earlier stages. There are ways to parlay charisma into fame- become an actor, nightclub owner, etc. and be perceived as someone of high cultural and monetary value.
But, there are plenty of rich guys who have trouble getting laid, which is why I think the first two stage are necessary.
