Over the course of the last couple weeks, I have noticed that hedonism is beginning to take its toll on me. Gaming girls, drinking and just socializing in general is getting boring, and I'm losing any and all motivation to do anything (besides go to the gym, that's a must).
In this aspect, I believe that when there's a balance (e.g. 4 days of work a week, 3 days of hedonism (gaming girls, going out, etc etc)) that you'll have a better mindset for pickup and feel much more accomplished. Considering that work will also be balanced with gaming research, language learning and reading, you also have to do something which makes you proud. There's nothing more spectacular than a night out after you've accomplished something big.
Your confidence levels skyrocket, you genuinely are happier, and you exude some sort of vibe which is unmistakable.
So my advice here: as much as you love partying, gaming and all the other aspects of going out/having fun, if there's no hard work put in, fun becomes the norm, and as we all know, the norm is mediocre.
And mediocrity is what we all want to escape.
