Agreed. There used to be a lounge by the Acropolis mall in Santo Domingo called La Republica. It was rare to see a non-white person in that place. The place then changed its name to Bottles and it was a completely different kind of place. I think some incarnation of it still exists, but I doubt it's any good.

the above article is pretty decent and jives with what I saw. Venezuela doesn't sound like the best place for top talent. Two clubs there that do sound interesting are Euphoria and Eclipse.

I don't know much about Avenida Venezuela. Been there once. Too loud and obnoxious for me. But I heard there was a foreign chick shot and killed there on the sidewalk less than a year ago. That's a pretty rough area of town, the eastside. Put a higher end venue in a poor area...not a good combo for crime.

Zona colonial has so many little tucked away bars and nightclubs you could never visit them all. I can't say that the talent is above average, though there do seem to be a few areas that are decent: Onno's and the other bars near to the main plazas (plaza colon and plaza espana).

I think the better question is what is the best moderately priced hotel that allows you to bring girls in. If a hotel does not allow guests, you might end up spending a considerable amount of money paying for cabanas. I have stayed at the Hispanola during peak season for $75.00 per night including tax. I can't see it being more than $100.00. None of the girls I brought in there were even asked for I.D., but I would call ahead to make sure. You may be able to do that place behind Jaragua where other forum members have stayed for $60.00 or not too much more.

Nice data Pitt! Wish I would have seen this before I went on my trip. Out of all the spots you named I only got to go to El Conde, and I agree with you, that it is a good day game spot. The hotel I stayed at had a balcony over looking El Conde, and my Ghanese buddy and I would sit up there and drink, smoke, and watch women for an hour or two before going out. There was so much talent walking by. You'd see a different 7+ walking by every 30 seconds or so. And I also agree it's pretty easy to tell the pros from the non pros.

The DR sounds like a great place for you. I'm also a white guy, but a lot of my friends joke and say I have the taste of a black guy. I like big booties and darker/ish skin. I don't see being white having negative impact trying to game Dominican girls. In fact, I almost feel it's an advantage.

But the nice part about Dominican girls is you get the hot black girl and a sweet attitude. Yeah I used to go to Amsterdam a lot when I was younger and I met many dominicans while i was there. And yes dominican girls are very materialistic in general, you need to live there for a while to really understand the culture.

Put it this way, dominican women don't really care if you are cute or if you have a nice body (this deported dominican told me that shit when I first went there, it took me some time to understand it), they all care more about the money you have, how you dress yourself, what car you drive and how you are going to help them in the short or long run. The rules totally change when you are in DR comparing to living in the western world.

I am not sure how white guys do in DR because I never really rolled with one for too long but I doubt that you will have a hard time in DR because you are white, actually in some cases it may make everything easier. It's all about the attitude you have that matters, if you are able to approach and talk to girls then you should do well. Kavakid is probably the only white (blonde) guy I have ever met that really approaches like crazy and talks to women that he likes, if you have that attitude you will have no problems getting laid in DR.

I think the most interesting skin complexion to have in DR is the spanish look. Literally most of girls are attracted to that look and they are always looking to ''upgrade'' their race. Dominicans are very insecure with their race, you will see many girls there who are clearly black telling you that they are white. The first time I went there I thought girls were trolling me but they really believe that shit.

I think the guys that go to DR and sleep with pros are guys that never did well in their home countries and don't have the courage to approach normal women. But I tell you this that other forum members won't tell you, most of dominican women expect you to give them something after you have sex with them, this is definitely not a country where you visit and you sleep with 10 women a month and you don't give none of them anything. You won't have a woman coming to see you multiple times and she is not receiving any financial benefits from you, it doesn't mean that she is a pro, it's just part of their culture where they believe that their men must help them financially. If you think that's a pro, then all of them are pros. A girl that is spending a lot of time with you and has never asked you for anything, she is probably looking for a visa or some other shit. The odds of finding a good dominican girl (specially as a foreigner) are extremely low, it's like Iran winning the world cup.

Work on your spanish before you get to DR, the more spanish you know, the more girls you can date. However being funny, well dressed and sexually aggressive will always help.

She also didn't drink much, so it made a cheap date. I think I got pretty lucky though. The girl probably could have asked for money directly from many guys and they'd pay. The last day of my trip, I ended up giving her a dope ass ceramic Michael Kors watch that I had that I didn't want. I brought it with me to pawn before I went on my trip, but didn't have time to pawn it. I probably would have only gotten $150 for it. I decided it was better off with her. For me I can make $150 in a few hours. For her it would probably take over a month of work to afford that watch at it's original value. But I did it because I wanted to, not because she asked. I remember thinking, "if this chick makes me happy, she'll get the watch." She had also bought me a present without me knowing. As soon as I gave her the watch she pulled out a necklace for me.

If you're looking to get by on a cheap date, my suggestion is the beach. I personally didn't do it to save money, I just like the beach. It made for a cheap day. I probably only spent $20-30 total. Interesting fact: a good number of Dominicans don't know how to swim even though they live on the coast.

I got into La Capital yesterday. First time on this island. This morning I ate chuleta, huevos, papas, y jugo cercera?. First impressions are wow, these people look like black Americans but with very minimal English. I thought I had decent Spanish and would walk around the US with my chest out telling people I was bilingual, so much for that.

They didn't want to sell me a Sim card due to a new rule that he said only people with Dominican id can get them. He relented and gave me a Sim. I've been using taxis to get around. The driver appears to have gotten a promotion and new car; hence his rates have gone up out my range but good for him.

I been living in Santo Domingo about 8 months.
I dated a chick that worked making t-shirts at the Hanes factory.
Salary = $160 a month for full time, and she has kids.

I dated a chick who works in the management in the same factory. HR department
Salary = never asked but she said she was not satisfied with it. But she did verify that starting pay for a laborer in the
factory is $150 a month.

A chick who worked in a daycare/preschool type place. With some college under her belt
Salay = $375 a month

Average person makes about $240 or less a month for a grocery store job, etc. (6 days a week). That's IF they are lucky enough to have a job. Probably half the country is unemployed. People often leave jobs because of the shitty pay. I admit I would rather bum around then work a job for $10 a day.

Now, you think you are going to take someone out who earns $10 a day, and not expect to pay for EVERYTHING?

Now, many of these girls will offer to pay for shit. Because they are proud. But unless they offer, I pay. I am frugal and cheap, and not afraid to let them know that. But I still pay.

If there is one thing I would say about the GOOD girls in this country its that they are PROUD. They will not admit that they want you to pay. But you SHOULD pay. Unless you meet one of the 1% who earns $1,000 a month or more. In that case, ok maybe split the bill. But your chance of meeting someone like that is small and you will usually know it as they will be quite proud that they are upper middle class.
