Buyer beware with Brazil. Anyone thinking of going to Brazil now or next year should read the most recent threads and do some further research. It is still solid place to go, but it aint what is used to be.

What's up with all this fearmongering concerning Brazil? For U.S. people who have never been, it will still be a poosy paradise compared to what we have in the states. I'll go to Brazil and see it for myself. If it turns out to be tough in the south, I'll just go right up to the North black/mulatta side where no one here cares about and try to kill it up there. It cannot be any worst than the United States, so what's the big problem? The US isn't that bad if you are mobile and know where to go.

Gotta love all those Colombia threads as it's really growing on me and want to go there very soon! So Cali is the best place for a first timer with fluent Portunhol? lol

VP - what are you waiting for man? You will love Colombia!

I'm the opposite I need to get my ass to Brazil, but I'm not going until my Portuguese is pretty damn good, so I can get some good local talent.

Tully Mars describes Bogota perfectly.

It has great restaurants, bars and clubs. It's a city that will keep you interested for a long time.

I personally love Cartagena. The laidback atmosphere is great. The weather is always good. The women are predominantly mulatta, but they're so easy to talk to!

I walked along the street and would say holaaa to the pretty girls and their faces light up and they always say hi and are open to conversation. I didn't find bitch shields to be existent with the costeñas, it's just not in their relaxed, laid-back nature. It's like it's understood that men are meant to talk and approach women - so you can be lots more direct.

But you may have to woo them over a few days to get them into the sack. I got a few one nighters on the coast, due to day game. I got one during an evening cold approach, but I would say they are rare there.

It is not fearmongering so much as a reality check. Anyone who has read Roosh´s Brazil compendium, mine and all the other recent posts on the forum- will understand that doing well in Brazil takes work.....at least for most men. And this is a trend that has been increasing by the year and verified by Brazilian members of the forum.
Be prepared to have decent portuguese and to put up with more bitch shields and flakiness, with hot girls here than ever before.
It is still nowhere near how bad things are in the US. The weather, beaches, culture are still wonderful and the people still quite warm and friendly.
So, I would advise men to do their research, study portuguese, find the city or cities that are best suited to their talents and come here before the World Cup and Olympics.

I could be wrong, so please correct me if i am, but my Spanish is ok, and all the brazillian women i have talked to so far seem to be able to speak spanish, I plan on going to 3rd, 4th, hell even 10 tier Brazil; am i kidding myself to think that my reasonably solid Spanish will get me by in Brazil?

Dk would you say that in cartagena i would find more chicks with phat asses then i would find in cali? Where are the girls easier if you were to compare both places?

If you have been to DR, please feel free to compare it with DR.

Thanks

My younger brother is traveling now with me and it is his first time in Brazil. He speaks spanish fluently and has done well with the women here. Though like him, you should begin studying portuguese at least one month before you come to Brazil.
Also when you come here continue taking an internet portuguese course, watching brazilian films and television, and going out with as many brazilian girls as you can.
After more than a month, my brother still mixes many spanish words with his portuguese (portañol) but his comprehension is now solid and he can make himself understood pretty well.

100 million females in Brazil

more than 50% of the population would be considered black in the US

50 million females now

25% or so are 18-34

12.5 million

That sheer number destroys the United States at: 20 milion black females

then 5 million black females from ages 18-34

5 million black females (sistahs) ages 18-34 in the US vs 12.5 million black females ages 18-34 in Brazil

I think we have a clear winner

Spanish will help you learn Portuguese.

Brazilians will be able to understand Spanish much better than Spanish-speakers can understand Portuguese.

And if your Spanish is only so-so, do not expect to understand much Portuguese at all.

Download Pimsleur Portuguse. Finish it. That will give you a good conversational basis, but the accent they use is very neutral and clear, you will need to adjust to real spoken Portuguese, which is much less clear.

For instance, watch this video. They are speaking Brazilian Portuguese, how much of it can you understand?

have just been traveling around latam for 2 months. was in brazil, visited most 1st tier, 2nd tier cities.

THE AMERICANIZATION of brazil and its girls is happening very very fast.
5 years ago when i was there people were so interested in me and it was very easy.
now i see most girls very pretentious, their economy is booming, they know they look good, they dont need your money, they can go to the beach. etc.

whereas 10 years ago they will be amazed that you are a foreigner, now they really dont care.

Very well put.....I am sensing the same thing. Though, since I look Brazilian and speak fluent portugues, it might not be so hard for me. But compared to 3 years ago, I was dreaming that I was in Poland last night lol That would have been unthinkable 3 years ago.

^Give it some time freshcream. Bs As is one of the very best cities in the world for hot girls. Though you're right the school year has ended. Maybe you can try Mar del Plata.

I gave up BA, saw no talent.. just backpackers..

Jesus Christ! Argentinian women are HARD!!!

I'm in Rosario right now, as Buenos Aires was a cockfest....

The club was 70/30 girls yesterday, and I opened like a champ... Insane...

But, you can have them laughing their asses off and touching you, still... nothing happens...

I would have banged 95% of the chicks here yesterday.. maybe 99% considering I want the flag..

My game was perfect! Solo and with 1 or 2 friends... talking english with some crappy spanish on the side.. they wanted to see my passport... still nothing...

You can FEEL that you're IN, and then they just walk..

^The standard RVF Argentina experience. Argentina is a social circle country, along with for instance Colombia, the Ukraine, Sweden and others (I think I did ok myself precisely thanks to having a social circle). I might post a thread on the optimal game in these countries (which I like to call alpha orbiting), but for now let's just say that it normally entails an investment of time. The reality is that Western countries are much easier than many countries we travel to (especially the ones I mentioned above). Traveling isn't the answer to many guys who look to improve their chances with girls (game is). Traveling requires investment in time, money, learning languages and culture and many other things (including problems and frustrations that happen on the road) but I'm ok with that because I want to meet girls from other countries.

Supposedly the Argentinian girls who go abroad are easier, like in Uruguay and Brazil though I can't confirm myself.

Mendoza from all reports seems like the best bet to get your flag.

Good to hear. I will hone my skills here until then.

Too bad, since I really like Rosario. Huge park in city centre with lots of people. Cheap. And the quality of girls is astounding.

If you don't go to Colombia, you've made a HUGE mistake...

1. Medellín
2. Bogotá
3. Cali
4. Barranquilla
5. Manizales
6. Lima
7. Punta Sal & Mancora (Perú)
8. Quito
9. Montevideo
10. Asunción

I liked misiones...

Completely skipped Colombia.

Have all of next year to do that. Currently focusing on places where my money will go further.
