For the guys here who experience nausea from zinc:
does it stop happening after a few days/weeks on zinc? I'm on my second day and the nausea is pretty strong...

No I took it early in the day. It was my first day taking it so I only took 60mg. Instead of taking 2-3 pills at a time I'm going to take 1 at a time and space them throughout the day, since taking 60mg in one go is making me more nauseous than I'd like to deal with.

Day 3. I started taking them one at a time and it's all good now. I'm gonna go for 150g (5 pills throughout the day). Even when I was taking 2 at a time after eating I was still getting nauseous.
I will say I notice a difference for sure. I feel super alert, almost like caffeine but better, cleaner, and zero crash. Sometimes my skin tingles which is cool. Been feeling more energetic, almost aggressive actually, but that's also because I've been streamlining my diet, increasing my supplements (creatine and beta alanine) the past few days and cutting back on alcohol.
Haven't noticed increased performance in resistance training but it's only my 3rd day.

Shout out to Midnite for starting this thread. I must have been deficient in zinc because I definitely feel some positive effects since I started taking it.
More energy, better sleep, better workouts.

Been taking zinc/magnesium for several years now at bedtime.
Its dirt cheap and seems to help.

I need to go get some ASAP, a lot of positive results here so far. It does worry me taking high doses on minerals every day though, I think I'll start small and build up. Already get some in my multi vit and mineral A to Z pill every day, maybe a standard zinc pill on top of that to begin with and see how I feel.

Loving the fact that everyone is fucking with the zinc protocol and that people are seeing similar results as to what I saw. Maybe the pussification of America really just comes down to a zinc deficiency? Ha.
Here's my protocol right now: Still tinkering with it and experimenting as always, adding and subtracting here and there. Fine tuning if you will.
Still on that zinc hard body, whether its the zinc liver chelate, the zinc zinc picolinate or the l -opti zinc...(those worried about the copper thing if you read that article I posted in one of my last comments chances are we have to much copper in our system anyway) And a lot of my research says as long as you don't go over 100mg it is pretty hard to mess your levels up. So with the zinc I am back to 50 mg in the morn 50 mg in the night. Sometimes more sometimes less. Depending on my lifestyle that day.
liver tablets - This is the new one and it is a game changer...from a company called beverly international...its called ultra 40 and it basically makes you a fucking g..I have put on muscle and lost fat,,,And I can go harder and longer in the gym ...you can also get some from a company called glandular enterprise. They have a supp called anabolic 2 that I really want to try next.
side note- The king lion is the only one allowed to eat the liver when a pride gets a fresh kill...there's something to be said for that that you can't read online or in a textbook. Get your king lion on.
organic Maca gelatinized powder- 3-5 teaspoons a day in water - gives you good energy and libido. Balances hormones too. It is an ancient incan superfood.
extra virgin olive oil 5-8 tablespoons a day. This will also make you put on muscle and lose fat...and saturated fats are key for good testosterone. I also fucks with coconut oil.
Drenamin- for my adrenals. 3 tablets a day. Chiropractor put me on.
Flax seed oil 4-6 tablespoons a day. I get it from barleans because it is organic and the highest quality. When it comes to omega 3 oils whether its fish or flax you really want to get the highest quality because you just do not know where that fish is from or what is in it. Barleans also make something called "omega man" that I fuck with and it is the truth.
If I want to get crazy I take L arginine before a workout or sex.
Pumpkin seeds- handful or so a day.
organic green tea- 1-4 cups a day
ginseng tea - get it from the korean deli right next to the hood...mix it with the green tea.....makes you a g....on the hunt for an exclusive ginseng root connect from my boy down at the fruit and vegetable market right now. One ginseng root has been sold for up to $250,000 before. Shit's crazy.
green vibrance - put it in water and drink it.
I see a lot of guys are just getting started on the juice kick. A real good one for mens health is Carrot, beet, cucumber. 16 oz..10oz carrot 3oz beet 3 oz cucumber. Just like that. In 100 grams of beet there can be up to 400mg of zinc. Beets also are just like a N.O. supplement. They open up your blood vessels allowing blood to flow better which equals better boners.
Supplements I experiment with and tinker on and off with-
Cordyceps
Alfalfa tabs
Wheat germ oil
etc etc etc.

p.s. most multi vitamins are bull shit... be very careful what kind of multi you take and do not rely on a multi to get your zinc on!!!!....vitamins and minerals fight for absorption in the body when they are taken and zinc should not even be taken with all those other in the mix like that...that's why mother nature did it best by putting this stuff in foods in the perfect balance...straight from the earth...shit there are things in food that science hasn't even defined yet....and find out who owns the company too...do your research...like for example those "one a day" things and "centrum a to zinc" are actually owned by the same companies that make prescription drugs. Those companies are not interested in you being healthy...they make their money from you being sick and staying sick and depending on their wack ass man made drugs. A lot of those companies put toxic bull shit in their multis along with the vitamins.

Careful with liver. Only take it several times a week due to its high iron and vitamin A content. Those vitamins/metals can become toxic at too high of a dose. Iron also causes constipation if your not careful. Also frozen grassfed liver is greater than the de fatted pills you get at a vitamin shoppe. The fat, which does reduce its shelf life, does contain vitamins as well.

Back from the gym gents. I have been on the Zinc protocol for a week & I am hitting new PR @ 7% bf than I was @ 14-15% BF (also I feel way stronger now than I was @ 14-15% BF). This is awesome. As far as the reaction from the ladies I am noticing that also (although I dont game girls @ the gym). It also kinda changes your perspective on things & now I have adopted a NGAF attitude towards everything. I'm going to dial down my intake to 125mg next week.
My current protocol consists of:
5600IU Vitamin D3
225mg Zinc
GNC Multi
Flaxseed oil caps
Fish Oil caps
3 Cups of green tea throughout the day
I'm going to give the pills that fix the adrenals a try.

I bought some Zinc today but all any of the stores has was 10mg tablets, nothing higher. Will test it out.

Just want to post a + 1 for this.
Been taking it for a few days now and have honestly been beasting. Just walking around feeling like a bad cunt.
Feels good as hell.
My stack at the moment:
Alive whole food energizer Multi vitamin 3x daily with food
Zinc 100 mg every day with food
5 HTP 100 mg every night on an empty stomach
Would certainly recommend the 5 HTP aswell. It is the precursor to serotonin in the brain. Really helps with mood and sleep.
Only other one im interested in is vitamin D, Summer is coming in the southern hemisphere so hopefully wont need it soon.
Beasting.

Can Zinc cause headaches? I took only 30mg yesterday and had a banging headache all day and night afterwards that I couldn't shake.

I've been on 100mg/day for the past month - no headaches. The brand is Solaray and it's a 50mg/2mg Zinc/Copper capsule. Once in the day, once before sleep.
