going to the gym twice a day is overkill ...unless you're on roids to speed up recovery

I dont know... shrinking balls, what about long term damage ? No one is gonna tell you they are impotent.

I wouldn't risk anything like that. When i was younger i exercised a lot and almost all the serious guys were juicing up. I never tried it, too much risk for muscle mass that mostly consist of water. As soon as you stop juicing you shrink within weeks.

I agree with this statement. It really took a long time for me to realize that going to the gym 3x a week was better for me than 4 or 5x a week. Bodybuilders cant go every day of the week and work out for half a day because they are on steroids which allow them to lift high heavy volume. You can try to do this but eventually, you will probably have an injury from overtraining and/or undereating.

I guess it depends if you are doing a split routine. If you are doing shoulders, chest and tris in the morning and then back and legs in the evening, it can work.

Me, I don't have enough time personally but it's not a bad idea..

I think that roids are pretty bad. They shrink the nads and you get roid gut, roid rage, etc. You basically stop being a man.
Best way to avoid injury in the gym is use good form, never train to failure (this helps with training momentum as well), keep a safe rep or two, and employ active stretching.
I also think that the best way to avoid injury is never use safety equipment, such as wrist straps or belts. That way when you do weekend warrior shit or help your buddy move, you don't break both wrists and get a hernia.

Sometimes I go to the gym twice a day but only when I have nothing more important to do. And I only go for an hour each time and I do stuff that compliments each other, like..

am weights, pm yoga
am weights, pm basketball/soccer
am weights, pm talk to girls
