Chick tried to pull this shit on me about a month ago (au pair from Mexico in her early 20's). It was clearly a "drink date" and we planned to meet up after 9 pm. She claimed to have not eaten dinner.
Thankfully, the kitchen at the establishment was closed. I just made fun of her about it all night and held frame (I teased with stuff like, "Who eats dinner this late? Oh, the kitchen is closed? They must hate you here."). The teasing became an ongoing gag- she would giggle and touch me. One of the servers she playfully harassed about the kitchen being closed brought out some complimentary chips ('pity chips' as I'd like to refer to them) at the end of the evening. Enjoy your damn dinner.
