This guy is more alpha than you!
He seems too reactive to me: trying far too hard to make his points have impact. Seems more like a Beta who has done some self-improvement training seminars and is overcompensating. I just imagine girls making fun of a display like this.
wait...it took him 25 years to design it?
Yeah - I think the video is stupid and hilarious.
Definitely not alpha. I was just kidding about that!

I honestly thought this was the business card scene from American Psycho.
I love that scene.
That whole movie has about 5 of the best scenes I have seen in films.

Ah yeah, missed your sarcasm. I've been dealing with f'tarded women on Facebook this morning so forgot people are capable of thinking in layers for a minute.
It's a business card, and a pop up book!?!

Yeah - sarcasm doesn't translate well online. I try not to use sarcasm too much since it is the type of dumb humour that alot of chicks try and get by on.
There's only one way to top that. I expect to see scratch and sniff business cards hitting the market soon.
Hahah! Did he start the music before showing his card?
This video made my day

Jordan Belfort?
No, but he looks like him. Joel Bauer.
I watched it 10 times now. This guy would be brilliant as a comedian. Almost makes David Brent a sophisticated boss.
Top that motherfuckers.

cardguy, to your great credit, you are obsessed with the timing and cadence of Baldwin's Glengarry Glen Ross speech -- that's why you are drawn to this video; this dude has a decent generic Baldwin shtick. And the original is so great that even a simulacrum has a little something.
The best movie scene of all time... you know it, I know it.

You get befuddled by a middle-class morality? Shut it out
Great line. Great salesmanship.
Reminds me of a post Ricky Raw did a while back
"Get shut of it" -- fucking A, amazing word choice.
But the Baldwin scene still takes precedence. Baldwin's acting and dramatic timing there is at a level that has rarely been reached. He was possessed by genius. Take that and some of Mamet's very best writing and you have something special.

Damnit, just when I thought I'd read everything... I'm going to be going through this site and the reading list for months now.
I can lip synch the entire Glengarry Glen Ross movie perfectly.
Bit weird.
But that is partly because of the rhythm of the writing. It is like miming along to rap.

I don't see difference between his card and the one giving out away in every mayor city for shows. I mean, go to Times Square, Miami beach or Hollywood and you'll see people literality begging you to take theirs cards for every shit show, call girl, cam whore, second hand lawyers or stripper club etc, his theory of "size" is bullshit, there is a reason why business cards stay "wallet size" it should be able to stay in your wallet for when you need it, when I get given a paper or card too big, I check it, if I see there is nothing I need at the moment or in the future, is trash, how many people keep it after he give it to them?

History
The audience for early movable books were adults, not children. The first known movable in a book was created by Benedictine monk Matthew Paris in his Chronica Majora, which covers a period beginning in 1240.
