I met this colombiana on a study abroad a few months ago......we are just friends while during our time abroad were seeing different people...didn't work out. We always kept in touch she invited me to come stay at her house and see her country, planned travels, museums, clubs, the whole nine.

I'm due to fly out to Colombia next week, tonight we skyped for the first time since we've been busy its just been facebook msgs,chats.

I checked her facebook after skyping & I noticed tonight and I noticed some guy on her friends list posted a music video on her page....the part where you write in your own title of what the video your posting was weird symbols of some other language.....I copy/pasted this into bing translator it said " I love you endlessly"....mind you that thats not the title of the song posted either...so either this is a normal thing in S.America?? but if a guy is a friend, he doesn't do that and or would be labeled a creep unless dating her or sleeping with her.

She asked me if I had a gf, and when we skyped her first question was what happened between you and your previous fling?? I then asked her if she had a bf she replied NO......now I'm thinking she may be lying and things could get ugly if shes lying to her man and putting me in danger here

Also her facebook is very very private, she used to only have 2 albums up...now her entire pics section is private, doesnt say in a relationship but her friends and relationship status im sure are also private

I'm South American, if it means anything at all.

I have female (and male) friends which I actually use the word "love" to describe what I feel for them. Openly.

Doesn't mean I fuck'em. Or even try to.

I'd hope that such feeling for other people you care deeply wasn't limited to "South America", but if it is... well, good then! You are probably heading to a good place.

EVEN if she does have a boyfriend, she wants YOU at her place.
EVEN if she is just your friend, she probably has many female friends you can score with.

You should be more concerned with the many ways you'll enjoy your trip than worrying about these details.

Understand that despite having a boyfriend, she would be DTF on the first date IF you were the right guy in her mind.

Add the words "when it comes to you" whenever she talks to you.

For example:
"I have a boyfriend... When it comes to you"
"I don't kiss on the first date... When it comes to you"
"I can't go out is week... When it comes to you"

Find a new broad!
