I think you guys are blaming men for a problem that is mainly a consequence of unbearable women or horrible ratios. It's no secret that porn and video games are really popular in the English speaking countries. The same countries that we routinely tell guys to get out of if they want quality women. Porn is just fulfilling a demand. For example, two of the most popular adult sites in the world are xvideos and pornhub:
Xvideos (according to Alexa) gets most of its traffic from the U.S., Japan, and India.
Pornhub (Alexa again) gets most of its traffic from the U.S., India, and UK.
The problems with these countries are well documented on this message board. It should be obvious that a lot of these guys would rather visit these two sites in those countries rather than deal with bitchy attitudes and horrible ratios.
Maybe there's an odd guy with a password for Brazzers, Reality Kings, and BangBros who will cruise on Redtube and Slutload for free shit for hours on end if he can't get his fix from the pay sites... but the vast majority of guys who go to these sites are probably spending a few minutes to an hour over the course of a week, and getting maybe a few nuts off. That hardly sounds like an addiction to me and most guys aren't going to have the free time or the means to get seriously into porn.
