Daygame in Los Angeles area (local)

Now that Day Bang is out, I'm seeing if anyone wants to go out and do some day game in the L.A. area.

Its always a good way to learn and progress this way.

I'm located a bit far, near San Fernando valley but can come out to other parts of the city on weekends.

My skill level in daygame is somewhere between beginner and intermediate. I have not daygamed in about 6 months since I was living/working in Tokyo for much of this year and concentrating on club/party game. So I'm looking to get myself back to where I was last year, when I was first learning street game.

Talk to you soon.

Let's start a list of where to game:

Venice Beach - Abbott Kinney, Boardwalk, Whole Foods...
Westwood Village/UCLA - college/grad students
Santa Monica - 3rd Street Promenade, Main Street, Beach
The Grove (not a big fan)
Century City Mall
Melrose
Beverly Hills Golden Triangle - women are older, but attractive and dressed to the nines.

Probably Hollywood, West Hollywood, Silver Lake & Los Feliz, just don't know those areas.

In LA, generally the best spots are wealthy and trendy neighborhoods.

Downtown Art Walk on 2nd thursdays of every month. Technically not "day" game since it's at night, but same dynamic nonetheless. Streets are packed with cuties.

I went to the Abbot Kinney fest in Venice a few weeks ago and saw more beautiful women on one street than I've ever seen in my life in L.A. Unfortunately, I'm just not a street game guy. I should probably start learning that angle.

Los Angeles IS Day Game city.

Some of my findings/thoughts:

The recurring problem for the LA Daygamer, other than getting rejected by girls, would be traffic and parking.

Hollywood Blvd. is touristy, so you're mostly limited to the shop girls from clothing stores and the Fresh n Easy grocery. You'll have to hunt for locals among the tourist crowds. Tourists are nice but hard to game them if they're on "tourist mode" and they're usually in groups. Lots of insta-date places though.

The Beaches are similarly touristy but I think girls are more keen to talk/rambling if the weather's especially warm and nice. Locals are easier to spot. Ice cream or snack shops then sit on the sand, good for insta-dates.

Runyon Canyon park -- lots of dog walkers and starlet/model wannabees doing their walks/runs and free yoga classes -- hard to game and ramble if they're focused on their workout.

Glendale Galleria / Americana at Brand (malls in Glendale) -- diverse pool, but key feature: lots of Filipina and Armenian chicks

Eagle Rock mall esp. at the Seafood City supermarket - Filipinas

Melrose Ave between La Brea and Fairfax - lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops, and hipster looking girls -- great potential

ANY Trader Joe's or Whole Foods in the Westside of LA -- esp. West Hollywood -- lots of starlet-looking girls

ANY Thrift Store (eg. Goodwill) in a high income neighborhood like Santa Monica or West Hollywood

UCLA / Westwood village - college girls, little shops, snack places, a Whole Foods, and hookah cafes (open late and lots of Persian bitches) -- a bitch to park though

Beverly Center mall (near Cedar's Sinai hospital) and surrounding area -- shops, cafes, fast food places, the CVS, and some starlet/model-looking chicks shopping/walking around.

Future exploration:
-Echo Park / Silverlake -- more hipster chicks
-Inglewood / Culver City -- latina / black girls
-Fairfax Ave (Little Ethiopia part) and Pico/La Brea area -- Ethiopian girls
-Beverly Blvd (Westside near Beverly Hills/Century city) -- hookah spots for more Persian girls and Jewish grocery stores

I'm gonna start going to art events and galleries (openings/closings) more often next year. They usually offer free food/alcohol and the art displayed/crowd makes good openers. What I do is go to galleries' websites (or sometimes ask the gallery if I pass by them -- lots along La Brea) or LA Weekly Calendar and see when the OPENING and CLOSING events happen. That's ideally when you want to go to galleries. In the time between those events, I'm not sure if people still mingle in those galleries or just function like mini museums where people just do their thing.

I'd like to add Farmer's Market as hunting grounds. Many LA neighborhoods will have their own Farmer's Market once a week, usually on a weekend. The biggest I believe is in Hollywood on Sundays.

A list of LA cities and when their FM happen:

Great list. I've been cooking up a Los Angeles data sheet and I'll include some of this stuff above.

Also wanted to add that I don't think wings are really necessary or even all that desirable for day game. I'd rather a wing if I'm going out to a club or bar at night. But in the day, I'm just walking around stores and such it'll be just me and one girl shopping alone most likely, so why do I need a wing?

Absolutely speak, wing's aren't necessary esp. if you're just starting out with day game. Having wings is a more advanced scenario and both players need to be super coordinated.
