Many forum guys treat Rating debates (and other frivolous topics, like Is this Alpha/Beta? debates, etc.) as assaults on their characters if others disagree.

Obviously, ratings have to do with 1) standards and 2) taste. People usually get their panties in a twist over perceived differences in 1), because if they rate a chick a 9 and someone else says she's an 8, their egos get bruised for no good reason (just an example, not referring to this thread specifically).

Quite importantly, ratings 3) also have to do with the implicit function someone is using to rate chicks. I'm not surprised some of you cannot see past filters and photoshop. That stuff is just starting to really be mainstream in the West, unlike in Asia where women been running fraud as fuck since the 2000s at least!

I lost count of 9 looking chicks I have seen online in China, bitch is a 5, 6, or a 7 in real life. Large surprise moles on the face are the worst.
