I recently completed a 3 month trip around the world from my hometown in California then on to China, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hungary, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Turkey, Bulgaria, UK, Italy and Germany. Beyond any doubt, the most amazing place I visited was Bucharest, Romania. I know there are a few other posts about Romania and their beautiful women, but let me just add my experience.

Also, I found that the anti-American sentiment is pretty low in Romania... at least not as bad as I encountered almost everywhere I visited. The Romanian people do aspire to live and acheive the "American Dream", whatever that might be. When I arrived on Friday evening, I had a date lined up with a girl I found on Couchsurfing.
