It depends on what you get. It's just about the only Sub joint in my area, and I like it. I see a lot of people get the meatball sub or the Philly cheese steak. Gross. I usually get a ham, turkey and ham, or the club. Load it with veggies and a good sauce and you've got a decent sub for a low price.

But maybe I'm not very picky because I'm not in places like Philadelphia where there's a better selection of sub places.

It's simple. Most people put price at the top of the total pole. In most parts of the United States, cheap and bad will beat expensive and good every time. If you put a quality hoagie place which sold sandwiches for two times the price of Subway need door to every Subway in the south and midwest, or even in the D.C. area for that matter, Subway would run all of the quality places out of business. No doubt in my mind. I'm not big on cold hoagies, but there is miraculously a place in the D.C. area that has cold hoagies as good as anywhere in New Jersey. I rarely go to Subway because as others have mentioned, it fucking sucks. However, Subway has opened a lot of franchises in Colombia over the past three years as any RVF Colombia vet will agree, literally they are popping over there like you wouldn't believe. So of course the girls I date in Colombia, who tend to be on the lower socio-economic rungs (God love em) want to go to Subway for the 18,000 peso, 30 centimetre chicken teriyaki sub over the 8000 peso menu del dia, the things we do to get laid sometimes eh? So I take them in and they have a feed but instead of a proper sub, I opt for the salad version because those fuckers put the same CHEMICALS in their bread as is used in gym mats!

Another little story: a few years back, as the Canadian RVF guys will remember, the best beer in Canada, which I'm half drunk on as I type this, Alexander Keith's, ran an ad featuring this very annoying fuck wit of an actor who did a Scottish accent, which makes no sense really (kinda a long story) but everyone in Nova Scotia, the home of the beer, fucking hated this idiot. Anyway, the goof got pinched on a kiddie porn charge and is probably dead now for all I know, but a lot of people were saying "thank fuck that idiot is off the air" even if it was such a gross crime that did him, so long sucker!

Merenguero: about those famous Philly cheese steaks, I attended a five day weld inspection course in Alberta last year and the instructor was from the city. He really stressed how important maintaining the high temperature of the welding rods in the field is and told us about how down in Philly they have a big problem with the welders because after lunch the boys take their welding rods out of their portable ovens and throw their Philly cheese steaks in them, I cracked up!

2). If you're dealing with a female journalist, be careful what you say. This shows why. Remember those little girls in first grade we called "tattletales?" This is them grown up. You cannot make snide remarks, off-color jokes, or sexually-charged banter. It will be taken out of context and used against you. We live in a Gawker world now, and that's not likely to change (unless they put Ellen Pao in charge).

3). If this pans out and the reporter was in the right and he is doing illegal stuff, that brings up another issue.

Let me preface it by first saying I am not condoning anything illegal here. But I want to say that people who commit illegal acts have a way of giving themselves away with their words. They're often undone by themselves and not authorities, in other words.

So if you're doing anything that's not above board -- from computer hacking to stealing donuts from your work lunchroom -- be aware of this odd quirk of human nature. I once saw an entire career in IT ruined because the guy in question was charging his long-distance calls to his workplace and felt the need to blab about it.

Women want to hear the exact opposite of what they think you'll say. Occasionally someone will ask me if Im trying to hook up with someone around the workplace. I just say, "No way. She was cool with him and continued to speak with him at later events, after his former employee got arrested she called the FBI and wore a wire. The FBI got a warrant, searched his digital files and computer history and found nothing. The FBI went back to the judge got another warrant and raided his house seizing every electronic in his house and even brought an electronics sniffing dog with them and so far have found nothing. If when they got the first warrent they had found so much as an old Traci Lords video I can assure you he would be in jail awaiting trial as we speak. As for context, he made an off the cuff remark to a woman a decade ago and that was the pretext for a wire, an electronic warrant, and a physical warrent with a raid on his house destroying his reputation and earning ability for life.

Now if they prove he had child porn or abused kids I will rethink my position but right now this shit looks excessive.

Well, then I'm wrong. I looked at multiple news articles that back up what you state. 10 years ago is a long time and it's very suspect what her motivations are.
