Gentlemen of the Forum: Stand and Represent.
For well over a year and a half in more than three thousand posts, The Lizard of Oz has been consistently and generously lacing this Forum with pure gold.
Any single one of the following would be reason enough to salute the peerless TLOZ; it legitimately *blows the mind* (forgive me for omitting the obligatory gif) to realize they are all due to this one outstanding poster:

The Japanese have an exquisite word, 彬彬 (ひんぴん; hin-pin), to describe a composition whose outer form and inner substance are arrayed in harmony. TLOZ's posts are unfailingly 彬彬: Not only beautifully felt and written, they express thoughts and a philosophy of Life which are themselves beautiful. As The Lizard once remarked to another poster, "Few men are able to hold these two ideas in mind at once: giving the artist his due for his ability to express a feeling, while at the same time recognizing how shallow, confused or outright ludicrous the thought behind the feeling really is." TLOZ not only has superb abilities to express feelings, but -- what is more -- his thoughts behind those feelings are profound, coherent, and outright astounding.
TLOZ: Thanks for all you've given to the Forum. I for one have made several very tangible improvements to my life based on your advice. And I get a hell of a kick out of reading your posts. Long may you run.

Any single one of the following would be reason enough to salute the peerless TLOZ; it legitimately *blows the mind* (forgive me for omitting the obligatory gif) to realize they are all due to this one outstanding poster:
- His creation and shepherding of the now 42-page long 1 Year Drinking Wagon Challenge thread, where he warns: "Sooner or later almost all drinkers will start to feel a strange flavorlessness, a subtle sense of deadness, creep into their spirits. And they'll blame it on anything but drink..." Pause to consider how many men's lives have been radically changed for the better by this dedicated effort.
- Likewise his Bright Light Therapy thread which has clearly helped many men to straighten out their thoroughly whacked sleeping schedules and often fix the attendant depression/anxiety problems.
- Dozens upon dozens of nuggets of specific advice for everyday life, including for example (but by no means limited to): the best skin care advice ever given; how to light your place; how to heal and prevent shoulder injuries with the rotator cuff stick exercise; the best way to achieve forearm hypertrophy; repeated warnings of the dangers of Zinc overdose and the need for a formulation containing copper; the best fish oil as well as the best form (liquid oil not softgels) of Udo's Oil; an awesome all-around supplement regimen; and much more.
- His unyielding opposition to Nihilism wherever it rears its fucking bastard head: e.g., in the Pacific Trash Island nonsense, in Hollywood movies, in the California drought scare, in the pages of the NY Times on Mother's Day or almost any other day of the year...
- Many memorable poetic waxings on pussy: whether the "old Flemish master" model (link NSFW) or the Weather Girls; the truly hot girl you're not going to fuck or the bombshell masturbating in the library.
- His trenchant analysis of the latest Year Zero fanaticism and sundry feminist horseshit: from the UVA Rape Hoax to the Proposed Model Penal Code Revisions to Punish Men and beyond.
- Plus many hundreds of other brilliant posts, a sterling example of which appeared last year on the Fourth of July, exhorting us not to let frustration with bitches bring us down in life.
