1 Things Single [MOMS] Don't Want To Hear
Well, this isn't really surprising. I saw this linked over at Dalrock. I'll post both links at the bottom if you want to leave a comment at either.

Yes, I am single and yes, I have kids. PLEASE keep these 11 comments to yourself.

Being a parent is a tough job. Being a single parent is even tougher. Whether they are part of a "conscious uncoupling" or far removed from their partner, single moms and dads have to take on all the tasks of a two-parent household — cooking, carpooling, cleaning, etc. — without any extra help, and with a smile on their face. Their job is only made more difficult when they are forced to endure a series of somewhat stupid comments from strangers and peers. If you want to make a single parent's life a little easier, try refraining from some of these remarks.

1. The term "baby daddy" or "baby mama". Dad or mom mean the same thing, and don't sound so stupid.

2. I can relate. My partner travels for work all the time. Sorry folks, but that's not the same thing.

3. Did you try to make it work? No. I called the divorce attorney after our first fight over dirty dishes.

4. Your poor kids have to grow up without a positive male role model. Between their grandfathers, uncles, teachers, and their father, I think they'll be ok.

5. It's shame. Kids really need both their parents. Would you say that to a single parent whose partner passed away?

6. It must be nice to get a break from the kids every now and then. You're right. It's so nice to hear my kids cry because they're sick of being shuttled between houses every week.

7. You're so luck you don't have a partner to fight with. Believe it or not, divorced and estranged couples can still fight.

8. Your kids are going to have some serious relationship issues. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see the crystal ball in your hands. Please, tell me more about my children's futures.

9. Just make sure you don't have another kid. You too! I wouldn't want anyone else inheriting your stupidity.

10. How do you afford it? By working my butt off every day of the week!

11. Oh, come on. Being a single parent isn't that hard. Really? Would you like to try it?

Women these days think they can shop for a man like they shop for a purse or a pair of shoes. Sorry ladies. It doesn't work that way.

Women are like sandwiches. All men love sandwiches. That's a given. But sandwiches are only good when they're fresh. Nobody wants a day old sandwich. The bread is all soggy and the meat is spoiled.

Females say they don't want to get trolled, but can't help themselves giving 'trolled' more ammunition.

The more you try to censor something, the more it will become popular. A women publishing a text like that is clearly an underachiever.

Things I don't want to hear from single moms

  1. I am strong and independent (while milking the father for child support)
  2. I'm not doing anal (Yes you will)
  3. Being a single mom is the hardest job in the world (No it's not)
  4. (Insert insult here) towards the father

Nice try at being slick smartass woman. We all know probably the vast majority of single moms are not that way because they were widowed (the ones that were my heart goes out to them). Many of them get pumped and dumped by losers who they know they can control and manipulate (I refuse to use the word "alpha") then complain about how men don't want to raise their kids, then go back to dating these very same men. Who is she to call people out on their "stupidity" when she is the one having kids from her cheap thrills.

And the burden of responsibility should not be placed on grandfathers, uncles, cousins, etc., on raising these boys that come from single moms. Yes they can provide positive male influence but nothing can replace the influence that a father has on his son.

I'll gladly keep the comments to myself, because your irresponsible ass is invisible to me anyway.

1. The term "baby daddy" or "baby mama". Dad or mom mean the same thing, and don't sound so stupid.

Agree 100%. People who speak like this annoy me.

2. I can relate. My partner travels for work all the time. Sorry folks, but that's not the same thing.

Here's where the disconnect comes. This person is saying "relate". Not "I know exactly how you feel". Climb down from the cross bitch.

3. Did you try to make it work? No. I called the divorce attorney after our first fight over dirty dishes.

If people she knows are asking her this perhaps it should be a wake up call. She probably spoke to the father like this when he asked a question.

4. Your poor kids have to grow up without a positive male role model. Between their grandfathers, uncles, teachers, and their father, I think they'll be ok.

You can't have it both ways lady. One second you're talking about doing all the work and how hard it is and now you're saying your kids have plenty of male attention who provide enough presence to be a role model. Which one is it? You can't jump all over people for going by what you say.

5. It's shame. Kids really need both their parents. Would you say that to a single parent whose partner passed away?

No, they would probably say "it's so sad your children will not see their wonderful father, I'm so sorry you have to do this all by yourself because you don't have a choice". Notice that you HAD a choice to try and work things out but you were busy crafting less than witty remarks to honest questions and observations.

6. It must be nice to get a break from the kids every now and then. You're right. It's so nice to hear my kids cry because they're sick of being shuttled between houses every week.

The person that is saying this is trying to reach some common ground, but you are insisting on staying on that cross come hell or high water.

7. You're so lucky you don't have a partner to fight with. Believe it or not, divorced and estranged couples can still fight.

Again, these people that know you are telling you this because they are aware of your tendency to provoke confrontation.

8. Your kids are going to have some serious relationship issues. Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't see the crystal ball in your hands. Please, tell me more about my children's futures.

And again, they see how you are in your interpersonal relationships and know your kids will act the way you do.

9. Just make sure you don't have another kid. You too! I wouldn't want anyone else inheriting your stupidity.

Yes, it's everyone else that's stupid.

10. How do you afford it? By working my butt off every day of the week!

And collecting a nice little passive income.

11. Oh, come on. Being a single parent isn't that hard. Really? Would you like to try it?

I'm guessing there's a good chance the dad would prefer to have the kid so it doesn't grow up to be a monster like the mother.

I wouldn't consider a woman who married a man, had kids, got divorced and the father still very much in the kids lives to be single mother. To me, a single mother is someone who got knocked up and the father is nowhere to be found, or he maybe pays child support or something.

Thats the key phrase there. There are many women who have shotgun marriages after getting knocked up so they won't piss off their families but had full intention of procreating with worthless bums with no strings attached.

Hey, divorce happens. My old roommates' girlfriend and her brother lived with their mom after their parents split but dad was helping pay for her college, taking junior to football practice, etc., all while shagging hot poon on the side. What I don't respect are the women who have kids with losers then present grandma, grandpa and Uncle Sam with the bill.

Fisto, nice one, Liked.

It's fun to see how, for some people, everyone else is stupid. Perhaps cultural problems; here in Asia I see very few (next to none) single moms.

And whatever the reason, bitching the father is bad. You accepted to have a kid with this guy, perhaps you did it for a reason.

Asian American families are like that too (the example of the family of the girlfriend I gave above was Asian) and are the last outlets in the U.S not poisoned by feminism. A sick part of me wants China to take us over after seeing the shitshow that the American government and family unit has become.

I know my overall tone on this subject is angry but it hits home for me, growing up in a family full of man hating single moms and my game early on in life suffered from it.

I knew a girl (I couldn't even accurately describe her as a woman) who sounded like the self important jackass with her moral superiority horse shit. I didn't even know she HAD a kid until months after I met her - kiddo was out of state with her parents while she went to college, worked part time and shopped for a new dad. She lived in a much nicer apartment complex than I did - thanks to low income set asides for which "struggling" single moms are eligible - in spite of the fact junior didn't even live with her 90% of the time.

Her habit of sending annoying mass-emails mostly trumpeting feminazi inspired bullshit eventually got the better of me. After one in particular blathering on about the heroics of being "pro-choice" I had to ask about the choices she was referring to. Move in with loser, spread legs, forego contraception, crank out kid, let parents raise it, - how many choices are we up to now?

Meanwhile the rest of us had no choice but to pay taxes while she claims a deduction for a kid being raised by someone else. Strong and independent indeed. This was over ten years ago - her hamster rationalization has probably only gotten worse since then, but I don't talk to her anymore - no point.

Single motherhood is often the symptom of the girl's problem, not the cause. That problem is hamster overdrive with poor impulse control.

(Not including widows whose husband/bf died at work or in the military. They've been dealt a legit hardship).
