Simon claims she was the victim of domestic violence in 2007 while she lived in Chicago by a man who threatened to kill himself as a means of control.

A 23-year-old teacher has been arrested after being accused of having sex with her 18-year-old student only seven months after tying the knot with another man.

Jessica Bonnett Acker is believed to have been involved in a relationship with the boy while teaching at Bryant High School in Cottondale, Alabama.

The pair were both interviewed by police and warrant for Acker’s arrest was issued. She turned herself into the authorities the following day.

Acker, who is believed to have got married in May, was charged with engaging in a sex act or deviant sexual intercourse with a student under the age of 19.

After the revelations came to light, she also handed in her resignation to the Tuscaloosa City School District, according to AL.com.

I think its because your eyes shift, pupils dilate/contract in response to stimulus. Sociopathic women like this are either numb or putting on a mask as such so their eyes are in this constant, fixed mannequin gaze. Someone could kill a baby in front of them and their eyes will remain fixed...because they have no reaction. They will also never have those wide pupiled and watery 'doe eyes' that a woman gets when she is way into a guy or watching the notebook.

This is different than the over stimulated crazy person with that constant 'wild eyed' look like he's in a fight for his life while sitting silently in the back of the bus. Thats like the reverse of the crazy eyed woman, their fight or flight is always on and they will explode over the smallest things. Seeing a recent influx of extremely attractive, young, feminine teachers in my school has really had me consider just how much this will increase in the coming years. Majority of the new teachers(all women) that begin at my school are single; having spent years vehemently chasing an English or Art teaching degree, they end up struggling to find desirable mates.

Once they find themselves in schools such as mine which are filled with disgruntled young men, who don't show much care for authority, it entices them. They end up getting closer to these boys in hopes of cracking through their tough exteriors. The student reported engaging in sexual intercourse with Poe five or six times since the beginning of January — with the most recent encounter allegedly occurring Tuesday. The incidents allegedly occurred at various locations in Waynoka and Woods County, including the teacher’s lounge at the school and at Poe’s home.

Poe was interviewed by District 26 District Attorney’s Investigator Steve Tanio on Tuesday.

“Daresa admitted she had engaged in sexual intercourse with the aforementioned student on multiple occasions,” Tanio wrote in the affidavit.

According to Tanio, Poe informed him she was employed as a teacher at Waynoka Public Schools, where she teaches Family, Career, Community Leaders of America class. She teaches high school and seventh-graders.

She told of three instances of sexual intercourse with the student, according to the affidavit.

Poe’s handwritten statement reads: “I am Daresa Poe a wife, mother and teacher. I have made a horrible mistake. I have let my judgement (sic) faulter (sic) and I am embarrassed and mortified for the deasions (sic) I have made in the last two weeks,” she allegedly wrote. “I have had sexual intercourse with a student. I am so very sorry for the decision I have made.

“I would take it back in a heartbeat if the chance was given to me ... I hold a position of importance where people and students look up to me and I have failed. For this I am truly sorry.”

During an interview Wednesday, Poe allegedly informed Tanio of additional instances of sexual activity with the student, beginning with an incident on Dec. 29, 2014.

Poe reported two incidents occurred in the teacher’s lounge at the Waynoka Public Schools building.

Waynoka Public Schools administration was not immediately available to confirm Poe’s employment status with the district on Wednesday afternoon but the school’s website states Poe has been employed with the district since 2009. The website also states Poe is the Family and Consumer Sciences and FCCLA adviser.

According to online court records, Poe bonded out of jail Wednesday on a $10,000 appearance bond, with a condition she have no contact with the alleged victim.

Her next court appearance has been set for 10 a.m. Feb. 10.
