The first minute it was a close call. Owen (?) does come off impressively faggy. There's a lot of him touching the other guy, making unusually strong eye contact, and that sort of thing. Weirdly enough that shit worked, the dude closed off his body language right quickly, started hugging himself, looking down, and ended up buggering off once he realized he got tooled.

I guess we can all learn something. Making seemingly unrestricted physical contact on a dude is a good sign that a fight won't happen.

Looking at the video, he's actually got fairly dominant body language.. putting his hand on that other guy's shoulder.. he's also got strong frame control it would seem (this guy should have olympic level frame control considering that he's been a game guru for like 13 years).

Here's the problem..

Unless he's just making an example for the camera.. he's spending way too much time/attention on the guy with voice cracking.

I think guys who make pickup videos don't need to be so condescending to their audience. I'm not a PUA marketer, but I think that if you just show the shit as it is supposed to happen without any Duex et Machina (like hiring models, or trying to make an example in a forced way), guys will get what's going on. I could be wrong.


Maybe he should try shaving his head and dying his beard darker? I'd be curious to see how much of what he teaches would become irrelevant with a more dominating look. I only bring this up because I too am losing my hair (funny thing is that I'm getting more pussy than I could imagine 5 years ago), and I'm also fair skinned. I do have darker hair, I think it looks more intense in my beard and my thinning hair.

Imagine if owen was Jacked and had a shaved head.

I shaved my head for 10 years. I liked it in certain ways, but it looked very militant/militia etc. like I had a beef with the world. I think a lot of girls are looking for guys who DGAF so they wouldn't care too much about their hair. It's a delicate balance.

I think Tyler gave the guy an opening for some humility and common sense to step in. There was a moment in the conversation where the guy could have said: "Well, maybe I overdid it a bit."
It seems like Tyler looked for those signs for a short moment before pushing ahead. But the guy was so immersed in his Nice Guy Rape Culture indoctrination that there was no saving him.

Tyler admitted in the comments or in a follow-up video, can't remember exactly where, that this is not something he would normally bother to do and not something to copy. He just felt like fucking with the guy, and it was still a good example of frame control.

Can't help noticing that the other guy was just as slightly built as Tyler though. Would be interesting to see how it goes down with a 6'3" hater who lifts.

Fair enough he did it for the cameras. It was kind of fun to watch, but also left me thinking "what's the point?"

If I was doing it for the camera, I would've been a hell of a lot more brutal - not some dancing clown hugging the guy and fake laughing at him.

If a guy tries to cockblock me like that, then my interaction is a lot shorter. AMOGing guys is easy. Just ask the girls if they know him right in front of him, and when they don't, turn around and continue as normal. Though, I haven't seen this much of a problem in the UK. I think it's worse for it out there.
