The Scene from the one of the Newest Lounges in the ATL...GManifesto you need to come out here and clean up with me...You would KILL IT here...

I don't know the percentages of Gay dudes here but they do have a large presence and you will see them everywhere. You know how people like to "Put On" about percentages of GayBi Dudes here.

Many sistas here are high maintenence but It's like that in most major cities...If you have ish going for yourself and have G It's pretty easy to break through and knock em down on a consistent basis.

Plenty to check out on the under 21 scene...I know that Opera Nightclub in Midtown has a College Night every Wednesday so hit that up. The best chicks in that age demo will be there in full force. Besides that there are tons of college parties you just have to hit the campuses here to find out about them. Go up to Morehouse College on Wednesdays they have weekly after 3pm event on "The Yard", Clark Atlanta University on Thursdays and Spelman College on Fridays all for day game oppurtunities. Georgia State University is downtown and you could chill there and do quite a bit of day gaming as well. Georgia Tech is in Midtown, Emory University is in Decatur along with Agnes Scott College...Atlanta has one of the biggest college towns in the country so tons of talent that come here.

Ok finally going to start an Atlanta thread at the request of so many here on the forum...due to my constant travel schedule It's hard sometime to put everything down on paper and I apologize for holding back on this for so long.

Atlanta is a a cool city and tons of fine chicks to be had here and even better If you know the spots like the back of your hand and are well connected to be able to attend more private functions and brand events (Especially Liquor company sponsered events) and take in the popping nightlife the city has to offer.

Best times to Visit:

Spring, Fall, Summer - March through November. The winter sucks so avoid December/January It's actually starting to warm up here a bit now but for an optimal time I would stick with Spring and early Fall...The summer can be quite humid & hot but that wouldnt stop me from visiting you definitely don't want to miss the banging pool parties [Image: smile.gif].

Tons of areas and spots but for right now let me focus on the main areas for gaming and banging in Buckhead/Midtown/Downtown then follow up with other areas like Virginia Highlands, Inman Park/Little Five Points Decatur, Castleberry Hill. East Atlanta Village then OTP (Outside of the Perimeter meaning outside of Highway 285 which is a circular freeway around the limits of Atlanta) vs ITP (Inside the Perimeter meaning inside of Highway 285 where The City of Atlanta actual is located) game and areas and so on.

I will also drop the Strip/Gentleman Club G as well...Atlanta is known to have some of the best strip clubs in the USA with chicks that drop It like it's hot a plenty. A few to mention that are top notch...are
Magic City, Gold Rush, Strokers, Pink Pony.

Atlanta has a spread out scene with alot going on in many different areas but the main areas again are Midtown/Downtown and Buckhead for Nightlife.

1st off this is the home of Delta Airlines so you can visit this place from anywhere in the world and can travel anywhere in the world mostly likely direct from here which I take advantage of to the max.

Atlanta is known for having some of the finest Black Women & White Southern Belles on the planet and it's no surprise this is a magnet for educated Black Females as well as top notch women who went to school at other HBCU's and SEC and ACC and other colleges in the South.

Atlanta has a growing diversity since the late 1990's and there is a large influx of Brazilians in Marietta, Latinos/Asians in the Gwinnett County & North Fulton County areas and Caribbean/Africans in Dekalb/Gwinnett County all these areas are in the suburbs but It's not that far away.

The actual City of Atlanta population is about 600,000 but the metro-area (Fulton, Gwinnett, Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas Counties which make up Metro-ATL) is about 6 million.

The scenes here change with the seasons but I will start with the Midtown Section of town since I think this is the best place to stay and be based out of for an out of towner for a quick weekend trip to the ATL!

Midtown Day Game -

Piedmont Park: http://www.piedmontpark.org - Largest Greenspace in the City located in Midtown. Take a jog here after work for some recreation time and plenty of honies to be had and milling about. Afterwords maybe unwind with a cocktail or too at Park Tavern overlooking the park.

There is also tons of gays in this area as this is the defacto gay neighborhood by the park with bars and stores catering to that lifestyle which is interesting for people watching but as long as you are not gay they won't try to holla at you. Now the Black Gays are a bit more agreesive and flamboyant in the area so It's kind of funny for people watching in a way.

Atlantic Station: http://www.atlanticstation.com/ - Pedestrian friendly development set up in the style of an outdoor mall with dining/retail/residential/office district perfect for day gaming in Midtown day and night. Also has many festivals where the surface level streets are often closed off for special events.

Peachtree Street: http://www.midtownmile.org/ - You can day game here 24/7 just take a walk down the street shops, stores, dining, office buildings. This is the main throughfare of Atlanta and runs through the heart of the city.

The High Museum - Atlanta's center for the Arts with excellent exhibits in the heart of Midtown on Peachtree Street. The "HI" has alot of special events that cater to a 30 and under demographic with college nights as well.

Where to Stay -

W Hotel MidtownTongueerfect Lobby Bar (The Living Room) & tons of hot chicks especially on the weekend and club/lounge (Whiskey Park) and restaurant (Spice Market) all in-house and chicks love to step into the W Hotel panties normally drop right when they walk into the spot. If you stay here you have the advantage of being able to simply walk downstairs to put you bid and simply slide her back up to your room...Can't get any better than that. http://www.watlantamidtown.com

Other Accomodations...Indigo Hotel, The Loews, Georgian Terrace are solid bets as well but you won't have chicks right downstairs like you do at the W.

Nightlife

Midtown Mega Clubs - Opera http://www.operaatlanta.com/ & Primal http://www.primalatlanta.com/ ....These places get swarmed by out of towners and suburbanites on the weekends so I stick to mostly weeknights and special events when hitting these places. Opera on Thursday Night for Hip-Hop Night by Hot 107.9 and Primal on Friday Night If your looking for the fly sistas. Saturdays at Primal is dochebag heaven but Opera on Saturday is cool with a diverse crowd and a Latin Room.

My personal favorite: Compound
Only open on the warm months March-October but an absolute goldmine of women Thursday-Saturday night when it's open. The best DJ's and the hottest chicks dressed in their best since it's an indoor/outdoor club, hookah and great atmosphere, during the weeknights plenty of private parties. http://www.compoundatl.com/

Midtown Lounges/Clubs on a smaller scale: - Luxe, Sutra, Door 44, ER Lounge, Cosmo/Lava, Koo Koo Room. These clubs are located all next to each other so you can hop around in this area called Crescent Avenue and It's slammed mostly Thursday-Saturday nights.

My personal favorites are Aurum & Halo:These lounges have the higher quality of dimes than the spots in and around Crescent Avenue and are definitely more high end & offer a more discearning vibe than the aformentioned spots. You definitely want to come Suited or GQ here to stand out up and above the rest of the fellas.

http://aurumlounge.com/

http://www.halolounge.com/

Midtown Restaurants for Gaming & Grinds - RA, Ecco, Shout, Strip, Rare, Straits, South City Kitchen, Tamarind Seed.

RA, Shout, Strip, Rare and Straits are the best for more of a social atmosphere and gaming girls while you eat and they have DJ's spinning nightly.

Midtown Dive Bars/Restaurants - Deadwoods Saloon, Flip Flops, Tin Lizzies, Taco Maco.

Midtown Spots for the late night to seal the deal -
Cafe Intermezzo or Apres Diem..These spots specialize in dessert, drinks and coffees and teas and are very low key and sexy. Music is always on point and the lights are low...If you can't close after taking a chick here well you can continue the party at some of the after-hours spots in the city which I will post about.

Midtown Brunch Spots - Flying Biscuit Cafe near Piedmont Park cool spot gets packed but great brunch to meet up with a chick you met the night before.

Midtown Day Parties - We have alot of day parties in Midtown in the Spring/Fall/Summer on Saturdays & Sundays usually at outdoors spots but they arent popping right now with the weather being wack.

Midtown Summer Pool Parties - The Rooftop Pool Parties at the W Midtown and The Georgia Terrace is definitely the places to be at on Sundays in Midtown...fine chicks the top DJ's in the city and bikinis.

Let me add that Atlanta isn't really a pedestrian friendly city where your going to see alot of chicks just walking around on the street like in Europe or other more dense cities but It's trying to head that way. This is a very car centric city but there are some areas where it's a bigger concentration of people walking around and I mentioned those areas. With that said you can get around here without a car but you really have to live/stay in either Midtown/Buckhead/Downtown to have a really good time here and to get around without a vehicle by using Marta http://www.itsmarta.com/ (Rail system here) and supplementing it a bit with taxis here and there.

More to come...

Now this is a fucking data sheet. I swear you're the mayor of Atlanta!
Sneak two urban licks in ,cheetah, tavern,, oh and sambuca for the milf pussy hunters like myself. Excellent reporting!

Overrated, wanna be Bollywood. Especially for blacks, every chick you meet is a wanna be actress, singer, artist, model etc of that glamor shit while working at victoria secret even though they have never modeled in their lives or did a cd cover photo shoot for some local extra average ass rapper.

The majority are trying to live like they already are models, or some other glamorous career, driving pay by the week range rovers, and bmw's acting like they have their shit together it is all smoke screens, I have been to sooo many clubs, parties, private parties I can remember but all basically the same ole shit.

Best thing about the city is the 50%+ of the black men are gay so its an abundance of single women and know that a decent dude thats not gay is very very hard to find.

So you can fuck em and pass em with no worries of running out. But they all are running the same script, Im an educated blk woman, with my own house, car, etc working on my university of phoenix degree, while doing modeling on the side bla bla bla.

And the gay dudes have taken over the city, it was voted gayest city in america, they have a huge black gay pride week which they loose their mind and take over everything.

My experience is with the blk chicks, now the white chicks in atl seem to alot more laid back and more fun and alot of brothers are making the switch.

50%+ Black men in ATL gay!!!??? Gayest city in US!!!??? WTF. I don't buy into that at all. But, I'll let IntlSwagger chime in on this.

I do, however, believe that many of the sistas there have what I characterize as the Tyra Banks Syndrome.

Yes -- I'm sure the bruhs cross the color line there like any other city.

BTW, are you a brotha???

Yup a brotha

Not sure of the % but I'm sure not too far off.

"Magazine ranks Atlanta as America's gayest city"
http://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta/magazine...78455.html

ATL is home of the DL (Down Low) brotha which most women first question is "is/are you gay?"

It's cool cause it makes it easy for straight dudes, the ratio of single women to straight men is nutz, but still not worth the effort for the chicks that are around.

Still it can be a bit much to see soooo many dudes who look like you dressing in womens skirts, carrying purses, wearing earrings and bikini tops just acting a fool and its accepted shit is embarrassing.

Black gay dudes take the shit to another level in public!!! They run lenox mall..

Atlanta, lived there for about I yer when I moved down with my job.

The Pro's

If you a into black women , particularly Black women with some ass then you have pretty much arrived at booty ground zero. No other U.S. state I have been to outside of maybe Texas can compete in that department.

It's true that there were many career minded women but I found them to be way more approachable and feminine than the competitive man eaters in NYC.

The Cons

There is a lot of ignorance and flossing going on. To many Luxury SUV's pulling up to the CHuCKfilla Drive trhough. To many grown men and women acting like damn fools trying to live WAY beyond their means.

The gay community down there is ridiculous . I mean in NYC the gays don't try so hard , they have an attitude of like "this is who I am take it or leave it" while in Atlanta it's "LOOK at me! Look at me!" everything is damn show... just ridiculous!

Overall if you are in it for the numbers, and like curvy pretty black women then you gotta hit up Atlanta , but you gotta take the good with the bad.

Atlanta used to be a great place to pull 10 yrs ago A lot has changed since then. I live N. of the beltline, and prefer to pull tail in the smaller towns on the outskirts. Because of the housing bubble a lot of chicks live in the outlying areas and commute in. You'll find them in the small town bars and businesses. Less bitch shields to contend with. The only upside to the ATL is the airport.

Since I found out they still practice slavery in the Methlanta, I won't step one foot in that place.

For those of you who have been to both Atlanta and Toronto how do they compare, specifically in terms of day game.

I"m heading to Atlanta down for three weeks, I'm going to be doing a helluva lot of day game there.

Overall from this thread Atlanta seems to be receiving a pretty good reputation but I'm curious how it stacks up against Toronto in terms of girls' attitudes and receptivity.

Where are the hot areas to buy a condo?

I am looking for something that is near the hot spots, yet the area screams money and class. I am looking for the kind of area that a young, single, financially well off brotha would live that would make the best impression with the ladies.

I'm not looking to buy a house, I travel too much and don't want to deal with houses.

Easy...You want to stay in Midtown plenty of condos in that area...My particular favorite area of Midtown that is perfect for what you are looking for..."Piedmont Park" you have a condo over looking that park you are GOLD. Perfect for day gaming and plenty of amenities including Nightlife and Restaurants central to the area. Close to Public Transportation which is easy to access in Midtown to the Airport...20 minutes door to door.

That is something like what I am talking about. A lot of guys like the whole idea of the one super-condo or big house. I much prefer the idea of having a 1-2 bedroom condo in a trendy neighborhood in more than one city. It sounds extravagant, but think about it. I high income earner in his mid 30's can afford a nice size house/mini-mansion in the suburbs if he is married.

HOWEVER, if that guy is single, for the same price OR LESS, he can afford two or more sweet 1-2 bedroom condos in different cities in the US. This is even more true since the real estate collapse. Women (from what I have observed) also see multiple homes in different cities as a HUGE DHV, perhaps even more so than a single big house.

A guy making low 6 figures could easily score two 2 bedroom condos in trendy neighborhoods, as long as he ignores super inflated cities like NYC, LA, Boston and San Francisco. Heck, If he is disciplined, he could probably swing three 1 bedroom condos, or a 2 bedroom and two 1 bedroom condos.

I know it probably sounds bizarre, but for someone who is living a more nomadic lifestyle, and is not locked into a single city because of a job, it becomes an interesting option.

I might be one of the one "main base" type of guys. I'd buy a condo like the one in the link (or, if I could afford it, pony up another $100k or so and buy something like this) and just make it my one main pad. Ideally, if I had other places, I'd try to pay them off quickly to minimize my liabilities and then turn them into revenue streams (hire property managers and start pulling in rental income).

I see some potential in your idea, though. It is feasible, if you're careful to avoid certain places. I could see one simultaneously maintaining places in Miami, Houston and Chicago at once, since low cost of living in each city makes condos very affordable (examples of affordable condos linked there to further my point-they're not hard to find at all). That would definitely be a DHV to legitimately be able to say you live in each place and maintain homes there.

I dunno about owning 2 or more condos in different states. You might forget an item you need at 1 of your alternate places. You would also have to pay HOA fee's and mortgage every month which is more expensive than just flying out somewhere and renting a decent room at a hotel. Then of course there are issues with utilities and taxes.

It doesn't seem convenient or practical.

Atlanta is a good place to settle down and buy a nice lux condo or loft. From there you can fly around the world / country having fun with the assurance of having a comfortable, welcoming home base.

THAT

Plus i dont understand the point of buying different houses/condos in different cities when you are not planning to live there long term.

Joehoya why dont you just rent a luxury flat or condo while you there? i dont think it would cost you more than 2 thousands dollars a month, stay there for 3 months or 6 months, explore the city and then leave when you get bored. I dont see myself buying flats anywhere unless i am going to use them for business. This way, you end up saving more and you could use the rest of the money to rent nice SUVs while you are visiting that particular city, buy more clothes, seek a personal trainer, basically investing more in yourself and of course the rest of the money can be used to invest in other businesses, do more travelling and first class flights or 5 stars hotel if you feel the need for it.

Plus when these girls come see you, you can always tell them that you bought these condos (although you are renting), they wont really know if you bought it or not. And having a luxury flat/condo is part of the high status package, believe me.

I lived in Atlanta from 1997 through 2002 straight and then off and on until today. I do believe there is no better city for a single black man than Atlanta, but I'd like to hear from some of the white guys out there, what are your opinions of ATL. I lived here after the Olympics and the city was a boom city and attracting people from all over the country. In fact, the number one question to ask someone you just met was "how long have you lived here?" And if you had lived here longer than 6 months you were an old timer. The city was super friendly then and you could meet tons of girls who were just starting their life in a new city and ready to have fun. But by about 2005, I felt ATL wasn't growing as well and there weren't many new people here and the scene for "white" guys had slowed way down. Not to mention Music Midtown, On the Bricks, and other music festivals had been discontinued. In the early 2000s there were a zillion socials, at least one singles party every night of the week and some nights many. These really disappeared by 2005 also.
-
Then the real estate boom and bust ruined Buckhead totally and Midtown somewhat. For those of you who don’t know, Buckhead was similar to Bourbon Street in New Orleans at one time: a great bar district with 30 bars that stayed open until 4AM. All the bars and restaurants were leveled in Buckhead to build high rise condos. But when the real estate bust occurred, they never built the condos, so all you have is blocks of fenced off wasteland! Midtown was decimated too. I’m sure you could find a condo cheap because they built a zillion of them.
-
I think ATL is a shadow of its former self! To me ATL is just a lot of the same old thing they had 10 years ago, but just more spread out away from the original locations. ATL is now less fun than when it was a booming, more vibrant, and more friendly city!

ATL can be a pain in the ass if you don't live inside the perimeter since the areas are alot more spread out. I know, I've lived here for the past 15+ years. Key and more urbane places to live/stay where you don't have to go to far to find the action include neighborhoods like:

Midtown
Downtown Decatur
Virginia Highlands
Old Forth Ward
Inman Park
Midtown
Buckhead
Marietta Street (near Centennial Park)
Little Five Points
