+1 for reality injection about Phils chicks.

It can be hard to tell because of the language barrier. Although here in the phils it almost seems like poor english is highly correlated with low intelligence.

I've noticed the same thing, I believe the language of instruction in schools in English, so if their english is really bad, it's not a good sign. The bright girls who worked hard in school have been able to have good conversations and discuss cultural differences etc. They still sometimes don't know a pretty common word or two. For instance, I had one interested that didn't know what "affectionate" meant.

if they are just putting together one and two word sentences and claiming they are serious about your, I would not bite for a LTR. I was going back and forth with a really hot girl with terrible Enlgish for a while. Whenever I started talking about sex, she started talking about money, living on dry fish and not even having a mosquito net in the Phils makes for a rather dreary girl.

You can't really "save" someone from a life of deprivation via a LTR, her worldview, focus, and wants are going to be so different if you came from a middle-class background she is never going to be close to being on the same page as you.

If just "sponsoring" her as a concubine, fine but a real LTR, real difficult in my view.

Just have to remember that the Philippines is a very poor country with very limited opportunity to pull yourself out of the slums. A lot of girls use their youth and beauty to try to improve their financial situation. Most are not pros- they just need to get by. So, even when they do not ask for money, they just like hanging out with you, enjoy your company, or are truly in love with you - consider giving them money to just help out.

Damn, so now paying for their food, drinks, transportation, taking them out, etc. isn't enough. You now have to pay their tuition.

Filipinos are humble but proud people. The ones who are hard workers would be insulted by you trying to hand them cash just for spending time around you.

Imagine how you would feel if you're just having a drink with your buddy, and he hands you a $50 like, "hey bud, I know you're poor and I take pity on how poor you are. Here's some cash". It debases them and makes you look like a fool who lacks self-respect for thinking you need to pay people for their time.

I finished a one-on-one class with a Thai prostitute the other day. She 'doesn't have a job currently' but lives in a 20,000 Baht a month apartment and studies at the most expensive language school in Bangkok. (I.e she has a some pathetic dude sponsoring her).

Upon my arrival in the teachers room I announced "Haha, some poor fucker in England is paying for her to live the life of Riley while she fucks other guys in his bed for even more cash"

I expected a chorus of laughter and agreement, but instead I got:

"Woah woah woah! Sponsoring is good. It means you get a nice girlfriend on the side man" from my 26 year-old work colleague

and, "Some day you'll have to pay as well man. You won't be young forever" from my 29 year-old colleague

Me "*Started spouting red-pill knowledge then promptly shut up as I knew it wouldn't get anywhere*"

Really. 99% of men in South-east Asia have no bloody clue.

You don't understand the culture and class your dealing with. You hand them the cash and they will thank you for understanding their situation. These girls are not pros, just can use all the help they can get.

Its not charity either cause its not a hand out. Its your choice - you can give them something or nothing at all. For me, its always a question of whether the money spent was worth the entertainment value? If it was, then its money well spent.

I was just in Cebu a few weeks back. Partied with a local dude and three girls. Next day dude was pissed cause he felt the girls took advantage of us, ate our food, raided the fridge, drank all the booze, etc. I told him to chill out and don't worry about it. I paid for the whole thing and for me it was well worth it. I'd even invite the same girls again knowing full well they are just going to leech off me. But I don't give a shit, I had a great time. Maybe its also because money is not a big issue for me.

Probably because I don't fuck the poorest beggar girls I can find. Every chick I've spent considerable time with has had money to go out with friends, go to the mall, etc. They also refuse to let me pay for everything. If they can't afford basic expenses, then they should be working rather than dating.

Yeah, that's p4p. Rationalize however you want, but paying for sex and entertainment is prostitution.

Who said anything about girls eating my food and drinks?

She can cook whatever she wants, I'll offer her drinks, we can eat ice cream at 2 in the morning.

That's completely different from handing her a stack of cash before she leaves to do with as she pleases.

Seriously doubt that, considering your trolling dating sites. But hey, if you truly believe your gaming them rather than they gaming you, then more power to you. Best of luck.

From my experience here in Davao (about 1 month) and only going out with girls that added me first on dating sites and a couple from malls I seriously wouldn't give even 5% to any of them being p4p on the side. 2 were even virgins...

I have to admit again that those aren't the hottest girls but their "game" is so poor and laughable compared even to their Thai sisters [Image: smile.gif] And they can't hold a candle to a girls back from EU as far as gaming.

I almost exploded laughing when some random 6.5 tells me in broken English during sex "don't you dare falling in love with me" [Image: smile.gif] Don't worry girl, I won't [Image: biggrin.gif]

I am thinking that only guys that didn't get much attention back at home are vulnerable to get played by Filipinas. (situation probably changes a little if you manage to get your hands on really hot one that's also smart but those are ALMOST non-existent here)

My wording was a little poor there. I have "fucked" girls after a quick coffee date who's financial situation I'm unsure of. However, all of the six girls I've "spent considerable time with" -- as in letting them stay the night and/or seeing them more than once -- have never asked for any form of money and all but one have spent money on me.

Everything from paying for cabs to buying me pizza to bringing over food to cook. I spent money on them over time. Dinner, snorkeling, movies, etc. But they would always make a point to insist on paying for things and would often refuse to order things when we were out.

They always made an effort to bring their own value to the table, even if it was smaller than my own, and I never handed them cash for "entertaining" me. There's a big difference between sharing with someone who's friendship you appreciate, and buying their friendship.

Now, you could argue that they were gaming me in the long run in search of a provider husband, but none of them got that. And in the day-to-day, it was an equal give-and-take, which is exactly how it should be.

Contrary to popular belief, every person in the Philippines is not dirt poor and looking for a handout. The malls here are packed full of people dressed just as nicely as any Westerner (more nicely than most of the white losers that come here), and eat in the same restaurants I do. Starbucks is always packed.

And exactly like I said, any of those people would be insulted if you tried to hand them cash just for hanging out with you. Anyone who has spent time with locals in most of these SEA countries will tell you that many of them take great satisfaction in treating you and refusing to let you pay.

What's with all the "white loser" talk?

You think the Filipinos distinguish between white guys that wear cargo shorts and guys that dress up pretending to be something they aren't?

You're in a country where basketball outfits are almost as common as school uniforms.

You're a foreigner. Period.

The girls here aren't with you because of your style or your game or your refusal to spend money on them. They're chasing the dream, or they're looking for cash / support.

You take a girl out here and you don't pay for it? That's shameful. We're talking about a couple of dollars for the most part.

Why come here at all?

The majority of foreigners here are here for one reason. Easy girls. You think the girls don't know that?

Nobody on last few pages is claiming not to be paying for girls drinks/movies and other small stuff.

The disagreement is about paying for their school tuition etc. which in my opinion is beyond retarded.

As far as "game" goes I agree with you, it doesn't matter but that's not the case just here it's everywhere. Looks money and status are everything, here just money takes place ahead of looks in most cases.

All the game you need is not being socially retarded and having balls to approach.

Yeah I'm not advocating paying tuition or rent for a girl. Just there seems to be a lot of guys posting here and other places about not spending a dime on all these chicks they're pulling.

I can see dressing up to an extent, but its so freaking hot here most of the time that you are going to die if you're wearing pants and a long sleeve shirt.

You can still wear shorts and sandals and look decent.

You don't have to look like a backpacker slob.

Where I am most of the foreigners look like a complete mess. 90% of foreigners I see are wearing bad polos, bad shorts and bad sandals. Their hair is a mess. They are wandering around with their mouths half open. I think I don't really care but they are kind of giving foreigners a bad reputation. I don't know if I feel good or bad about this but most foreigners are with fat wrinkly older pinays. Of course I see some with smoking hot girls. So far I have resisted the urge to hi-five them [Image: wink.gif]

On the topic of whether pinays will admit to doing p4p... Just for fun I cammed with a "supermodel". In the first 30 seconds the girl took off all of her clothes, did a few poses, gave me her phone number and told me she would have sex with me. I asked her if she was a prostitute and she said no. hahaha

Dress up? I'm usually wearing some slim fitting dark denim, v-neck, and some boat shoes. It's not "dressing up", it's refusing to look like a total slob.

Quote:Quote:

No, athletic attire and school uniforms are not common in the malls. Many of the Filipino guys here dress better than the average male in the US. I see plenty of people dressed in stylishly.

No one has said that. I specifically mentioned taking girls out.

Do I buy every girl I meet Jollibee before I try to bang them? No. That's A. Bad game. I don't want to fuck bloated girls with mayonnaise breath. B. Stupid.

Typical simp mentality that constantly pops up in these Phils threads.

"What? You don't walk around with a stack of cash handing it out like an ATM machine? You must be cheap/broke/an asshole".

Just to be clear though, I am an asshole.

Let's see, they speak English, cheap, safe, some of the best beaches in the world, extremely high level of biodiversity, I love basketball, good climate (in Davao), Arnis...? Can you tell me another spot where I can live comfortably for this cheap, everyone speaks English, and I'm still within 30 minutes of white sand beaches?

Sure, the girls are great. But that's not even close to the only reason to come here. If I just wanted to bang as many chicks as possible, I'd be in Manila right now.

Me thinks youre missing the point these guys are trying to make, dressing up in the Phils as Enigma stated jeans, vneck t shirt, polo shirts, button down, loafers etc..... Staying fly is essential, I'm 35 and had no problems attracting younger girls hot chicks and one thing they always compliment me on is my clothes. I'm not talking about any crazy long sleeve Versave shirt to go to the mall, but walking around wearing shorts in the Phils atleast the places I frequented I definitely felt uncomfortable.. I've said it again and again fly jeans, nice shirts, and a mean shoe game works the world over in intially attracting women all you gotta do is not fuck it up. Not to be disrespectful but your 100% wrong, girls are with guys because of your game, and style i mean really wast do you thinks attracts them ??? Certainly not the fact your cock is foreign as there is plenty of that running around, good luck to you buddy. You will definitely do yourself a favor by listening to some of the tips left here. If all the girls or even some are asking you for money doesn't mean it happens to everyone, girls here are like in the us in the sense they "collectors" or have a team. One guy to fuck her good, a guy to show her a good time out on the town, others to pay the bills they can distinguish who fits the bill for each. With that being said you may continue to troll.

First of all I don't associate with "beggar girls" I've already said I am here with my girlfriend, who I met outside of the Philippines. I'm not here trying to bang chicks but I do browse around online when I am bored.

There are a ton of beautiful places here, that is very true and yes many things are very cheap, though if you want a decent place, rent isn't one of them.

I'm not here to troll, just don't think "game" means a whole lot here if you're a foreigner. If your game is so tight...you must do well wherever you're from and from what I've seen walking around Makati, that puts you in the extreme minority

Anyway have fun here. I love it here and I am considering buying a place.

It's more fun in the Philippines.

I wonder why Manila is such a cultural wasteland. For a city that big, it's got almost nothing in the way of high culture - music, talks, film, theater, art exhibition openings. Once in awhile there's a concert other than some lame has-been or religiously-themed treacle, but not much. Am I missing something? I am a little bit of an art fag and also like those events to both approach high quality women, and to take women out of their comfort zone.

There's very little in the way of talks, gallery openings, out of mainstream music. There's got to be a few creative Filipinos ready to do something different than the usual sugary stuff, have they all left the country?

One reason I don't think I could live in Manila long-term. Even in Cairo where I am now, there are multiple interesting things to do every night. And Bangkok trumps both Manila and Cairo.

OK I've come around to a degree on my shorts and flip flops stance.

While I still think it is possible to not look like a backpacker scumbag or sexpat, there are definitely situations in which it is inappropriate attire.

Like say...going to the doctor or to immigration.

It reminds me of an old Chris Rock bit. "You may not be a whore, but you're wearing the uniform."

I overheard some cargo short wearing flip flopped old sex tourist asking a girl if she was a "boom boom girl" at the greenbelt today. I mean I was walking past and I could hear him, not like he was a little loud at the table next to me.

I felt pretty put off by the whole thing. Even if she is a working girl, you don't talk to her like that in public.

I can totally understand not wanting to be lumped in to that category.
