This new show on Comedy central (if you're from the U.S.) called Broad City? It's a more realistic version of "Girls". It's only two episodes in but it more accurately depicts the SWPL life of girls in NYC ( at least that's my take). Check it out.

I laughed out loud at this thread and the comments.
I have seen commercials for the TV Show on Adult Swim. May have to check it out, as I have purposely avoided watching "Girls."

As someone who watches Girls, this show is not the same thing at all. It's a million times funnier, and more of a cartoonish depiction of SWPL girls. Also, both of these girls are infinitely more fuck-able than Lena Dunham, though that realm occupies the same space as certain towels and cups.

I watched the first season of Girls expecting to hate it. I did hate the characters, but I found the show overall pretty well-written and actually kind of funny. I really loathed the characters, but it was an accurate description of lame millennials and alpha/beta relationship dynamics.
I watched an episode and half of the second season and quit. It stopped being funny and became the show that I wanted to hate in the first place.
