Calling Girls "Dorks"

Calling Girls "Dorks"

I try not to get into the habit of recycling routines or phrases, and I'm not really a big proponent of negging either, but I've found myself using this word a lot, and it seems like the results are usually really good.

girl: "X movie is my favorite movie ever!"
me: "Haha, what? You dork!"

Or, my personal favorite, is catching a girl saying something dumb/factually incorrect, and working it in to calling her out.

My theory...
  • Can be used to quickly and painlessly shut down annoying lines of conversation.
  • Quickly establishes that you don't take her seriously, and think she's silly/cute.
  • It's innocuous and playful enough to foster a little insecurity without provoking her to cop attitude.
Anyone else do this or something similar?

No. You should stop it.

You're trying way too hard.

Just have a. . .regular conversation. You're a man, You are above her. High quality men don't call women "Dorks" they don't sound childish. They sound like men.

I do this all the time and also find "dork" to be the absolute perfect word. 10 years ago I used "nerd" but that is now too positive.

If I wanted conversation, the last place I would search for it is from women.

When did teasing girls become negs? Personally I don't use anything like this, but if it fits you in with it.

Lol I use it all the time. Girls really are dorks. If they shock me and say something intelligent, I call them "smartypants".

You have to do a cute neg. Sometimes I'll say "Nooooo silly" in a little kid kinda voice.
It's more effective than a direct insult plus it keeps it playful. I think women are wise
to the neg nowadays.

I've been an asshole and downright insulted a woman before - a 'neg', so to speak, and it worked in the context it was placed in, ie, girl disrespecting my time, space, and not being cool, out in a bar where her ego is high. There's not really any other places I've found that an insult works well.

Now teasing, different story... I tease all the time. Call the dork, call them brat, etc. She has an awkward moment and I call her out with "Very coordinated girl, eh?" in a light and fun voice and a cocky smile. Etc etc. Tease them, have fun. It is a regular conversation. There's no strategy. I'm just having fun and teasing them.

I have my serious conversations, but I don't have them all the time.

I've called them gross, nerd, silly, playfully called them a bitch or a jerk or "chubs" as in chubby, spoiled.

I've called one Smeagle from Lord of the Rings.

Another whose indecisiveness was really getting to annoy me I called "Emmm.."

Cunt is probably the only one I'd used to hurt a girl. You fat cunt! But I've never needed to go that far. It's been a while since one has gotten up in my face and I haven't solved the problem simply by ignoring it.

I have similar game - teasing them in a playful way when they make a little mistake, when they want to get "philosophical", when I want to show them I literally don't give a fuck about rejection... If it works for you, then continue using it, regardless if it's "correct" or not; it works for me.
I'm gonna try calling them dorks, I like the way it sounds:
"Do you like/Have your ever watched (some anime/hipster music I've never heard of)?"
"Awww, you're like a little dork! *smirk*"

I don't think you've discovered a trigger word.

If anything, you're using their language against them.

Chatting with some chick over lunch and I said, "Don't shame me" over something trivial. And I watched her light up.

This is a sensitive area of the game/manosphere/pick up, but a lot of what "works" is an emulation of hot girl behavior.

Or in more "masculine positive" terms, a lot of hot girls exhibit the dark triad of personalities, minus the physical violence (they replace that with their own version that is just as potent, but lacks the upper body strength)

What age range do you go after?

Teasing girls like you are back in junior high works like a charm on the 18-23yo American chicks. Try keeping them engaged while fighting their ADD with nothing but grown up conversation is a tough path.

Old chicks may be different?

I called girls dorks all the time to great effect. Whats hard to explain on a forum though is the tonality its delivered with. Calling someone a dork from a place of self amusement and light playful teasing is a lot different to calling a girl a girl a dork from a place of anger and bitterness.

I use 'nerd' and 'geek' a lot as well as a tease if she mentions even the most basic of facts/knowledge.
Works well on educated/career girls.

While his example wasn't that great, playfully teasing girls can be very effective.

This particular word is one of my favorites, but it's not a miracle word. I think it's important to be able to tease a woman. I've called women nerdballs and all kinds of silly/stupid words. Being able to tease and goof off is a big part of my personality.

As with anything game related, you should calibrate to match your personality and the women you're pursuing. I've used this kind of wording (albeit more sparingly) with women up to very early 40s and it's not strange.

All women want to be made to feel like little girls (giggly/happy) at least some of the time.

One of the biggest aspects of feminism is that women claim they want to be taken really seriously. You don't have to disrespect them (not ever take them seriously), but dismissing them and calling them out when they're being silly, calling them a nonsensical pet name, etc... are all valuable tools in your arsenal.

It depends on the situation.

You are thinking 'this girl is hot. I need to prove im not scared of her looks and show the dominance'
If you spit it out wih such intention, it wont go well.

We try to avoid saying things that will make both sides uncomfortable. Plus most guys wont say such things because they are afraid of losing her. Now if the situation calls for it, there is nothing wrong to say it. She might like it or not like it but you didnt plan to say such things and were just honest to your emtion at that time. If you feel like you did the right thing, thats what matters

I can see this being effective. I've used the word fag for a similar purpose. It works best on girls that you've already established a connection with. She'll understand it's playful teasing. Don't try to establish a connection by name calling. She won't get it.

Teasing is very effective, and even essential to building and maintaining attraction, I would propose.

It can hold many forms, from the verbal to the physical (pinching, tickling, poking). Verbally, you can call her pretty much anything that will give the desired outcome. Anything that makes fun of her, shows that you don't take her too seriously, shows off your humorous side and fun personality. If she hits your arm after and yet doesn't storm away in anger then it probably worked fine. I've called girls anything from an innocent "you're so silly" and "dork" and "geek" to "you crazy bitch" and it had the intended effect. It depends on the girl, the situation, how long you've known her, your guys' comfort level, etc.

Yeah, you're probably right, I have a bit of a tendency for that.

I probably should have posted this in the newbie forum.
