I've noticed with the Windows version that if I try to use youtube while running Viper, it causes the video loading to either fail or mess up. This happens about 50% of the time. If it does this and I turn off Viper, everything loads fine. And sometimes other weird stuff will happen, like the audio will play, but the video won't.
Anyone encountered this problem and found a workaround? I get sick of having to constantly turn it on and off because I'm on youtube pretty frequently.
Try changing the playback quality by going to Control Panel -> Sound, select the Advanced tab and change the playback quality - 44100 and 48000 should work without issues. Also try
various latency settings.
If that doesn't fix it, try reinstalling the flash player or try another browser. Also, there's an
alternate YouTube player that can play the videos.
If everything else fails, reinstall your sound driver, and if there's still a problem, reinstall your graphics driver.
There may also be some conflicting apps running - try checking for any apps that may interfere with the sound.
If you really like Viper, Windows reinstallation may be needed.
If it's still a problem, then get an external sound card or send
a mail to the developer because there may be something with your sound card that's the problem. There's also a
troubleshoot page that may fix it if you're using a Realtek card and an
installation page if you decide to reinstall Viper.
I didn't find the problem googling and it didn't happen on my computer, so I don't know what causes it.
