While it's true that LT guys are taller than average majority of them DO NOT play basketball. Also, Vilnius is a very highly educated city with a large student population and more females than males so if you are a foreigner, educated with okay game and willing to put the time in for night-game you can do well. Your latter statement does ring true, LT girls can have high bitch shields especially when compared to their other EE neighbors and the foreigner factor is not as worthy as say Ukraine.

I've been meaning to write about Vilnius, Lithuania for some time now seeing as how there is not many forum updates on this charming, historic city of 540,000 residents. Vilnius is not nearly as good as Riga and Tallinn for nightlife. You'd think due to all of old Vilnius being a UNESCO world heritage site and also couple years back being the "European Culture Capital" that it would attract thousands of tourist girls from all over Europe however that is far from the case. Most of the tourists are of the older variety being large Russian, Polish, and German groups on short bus trips. There is much "tourism" though of the type that complicates game, this is due to large stag parties of British, Scottish, and French guys who I saw all over cafe's and bars. Unfortunately they usually act loud and obnoxious and do not help anyone (including themselves), making the local girls vary of being approached. I will outline some of the reasons for mediocre nightlife and share general observations and my failures in Vilnius.

Basic background: 35 years old, neither "tall, nor dark, nor handsome" (have been told that I look like Wayne Rooney), multilingual, high bankroll, and would describe myself as an experienced traveler though am an introvert by nature so game does not come easy to me
Looking for mini-relationships (and possibly even wife material) so ONS's were of little interest to me on this trip.
I have been to Vilnius many times, including twice this year. This time I went to Vilnius for 6 days, primarily for family reasons but also to look at new business opportunities (real estate) as I am seriously considering leaving USA one of these days. When not spending time on business or with relatives I was going out and enjoying the nightlife that it has to offer. If I had to describe Vilnius I would say it is "full of very friendly, highly educated young people, with numerous stunning women who know their worth and won't open up easily. Little foreigner value here so good game is a must".

Age observations: I feel this is an often-missed but critical component of any proper data sheet. Unlike years past where I would hit student only pubs in Vilnius (as I could pass for a 20's lad) this time I tried to go for more "sophisticated places".
Had an awfully difficult time finding bars and clubs which had locals closer to my age range (25+). Unlike Ukraine where 45 year old guys with 21 year old women were the norm or Minsk where several months ago I partied at clubs where old, rich Russians had mistresses at their tables (my local girl comfirmed that), there is very little noticeable age gap in Lithuania for dating and couples. I rarely saw an age difference of more than a few years. LT is one of the few countries in EE where being a rich, older foreigner did not help much in clubs (except for Salento Club and Buddha Disco 311, more on those later). I was seeing foreign guys with table reservations not being able to bring any girls to their tables. Based on their above average looks and the money they spent they could have killed it at clubs in Ukraine or Belarus but alas here as a team they did worse than myself solo some nights.

Economic Reasons: Some blame on the tough "game conditions" I put on the fact that most of Lithuania's wealth is concentrated in Vilnius, as the other cities (with exception of Klaipeda) are slowly decreasing in population, manufacturing is disappearing, and Lithuania is slowly becoming a "service-industry based country". It has lost almost a million residents due to emigration over the last decade. Perhaps success rate and some WGF could have been felt if I hit 2nd tier. Based on many business talks and also readings I did it is no secret that most of the younger people from rural areas (who can) are leaving to Western EU countries for higher paying jobs. Those specialists from 2nd tier cities that are risk-averse and not willing to leave the country are flocking to Vilnius for the few high-paying jobs that are left in the country. So again in Vilnius you now have a disproportionate amount of wealth, many Lithuanians working for multinationals such as Barclays, CITCO, Transcom and so on. They are making good salaries and with low cost of living they are able to go out frequently and throw money in bars/clubs as well as travel to the west including USA (Lithuanians can come to USA/Canada as tourists visa-free for up to 30 days now). So to impress the local women it takes more than money and style, it takes good game. The old days of WGF are long gone here.

Locals: Having been spoiled by the likes of Ukraine and Belarus I was disappointed by the ratios in Lithuanian clubs. Some places were 50-50 while most were worse. Lithuanian guys dress sharp, are very tall and athletic, and the competition was stiff. There is little foreigner value in Lithuania as it is an upper income country, fully westernized (at least in Vilnius) and judging by all the expensive cars, real estate sprouting like mushrooms, and foreign-direct investment from Scandinavia and UK it seems to be doing better than some of its older EU members (Greece/Portugal anyone). Many girls have relatives & friends who have immigrated abroad. Telling travel stories and talking about USA did not work as well as my recent trip to Belarus where I was treated with much more curiosity.

Logistics:
Vilnius nightlife is completely concentrated in old town (Senamiestis) so that is where one needs to get their flat. Expect to pay between 18-25 Lytas ($7-$10) for a taxi from the airport to this area. Anything more and you are getting ripped off. Do not even consider any other neighborhood; especially anything on other side of river would be a bit far. Vokieciu gatve (German Street) heading toward Town Hall, Vilniaus Gatve (Vilnius Street) or anything on Gedimino Prospect would provide ideal logistics. Many players make a “mistake” of getting a place closer to the Cathedral Square/Vilnius Castle, if you get a place there mind that to get to nigh-life area you’d have to spend around 15 minutes walking, not a good idea when by October freezing weather starts and this area generally has higher lodging prices. This time I got a 2 room apartment in an old (fully renovated) historic building 2 minutes walk from Rotushe (Town Hall) for 64$ / night via airbnb.

This should be your target rate. If you get it close to Rotushe (town hall)

you will be walking distance within all the main bars and clubs. (note another large stag party gathering next to the town hall)

My experiences: For a city of half a million Vilnius surprisingly has few clubs/lounges. Instead most young people go out to pubs and cafes (which unlike US almost all serve alcohol). In clubs you find a surprisingly high number of foreigners especially "tourists" from UK, Spain and Italy. Unfortunately the nightlife only starts Friday night. Going out on Tuesday-Thursday I found fruitless (believe me I tried and asked local contacts such as my cousins for happening places but frequently was disappointed by lack of crowds) especially as I could not leave my apartment till 12am or so most nights due to other commitments. The whole city has only a couple bars that are open almost 24-7, (till 5-6 am every night) called Metro and Amatininkai and they are certainly not of the caliber of Shooters in Kiev for hook ups.

On the positive, the locals are extremely friendly, English fluency is very high and crime is pretty much non-existent. I felt safe walking even in industrial areas of Vilnius, suited up late at night as I was drunk and lost. I had a hard time finding anything worthwhile to do wednesday morning around 3am so ended up stumbling and finally hitting a hole in the wall place Baras Vingriu 17 also known by locals as Psichbaris (Psycho bar) on Vingrius Street which had a large number 17 painted above the door. Half the guests were smoking up or passed out while the lone bartender was even drunker than the patrons. A tense debate over Ukraine proceeded, then followed by an arm wrestling match to settle it, followed by a conversions with a punk girl and a makeout, then followed by a round of chess and foosball and many rounds and rounds of weed from a 2foot tall bong with hash for dessert as well. Sometimes getting to know the locals in a shithole bar and having adventure nights like this is better than chasing pussy. Unfortunately thursday nights in Vilnius are relatively dead as well, I'd compare it to a 3rd tier US city. Most of the "happening clubs" such as Disco 311, Mojo Lounge, and Cocaine were half dead with the only exception being Salento and Pabo Latino.

Though at times I had to wonder around looking for targets saw much more beautiful women during day game and online than in similar sized western european cities. I used the tourist line of "can you take a picture" followed by "what nearby sites would you recommend to see" and would you like to check them out with me. I made around 4-5 day approaches like this every day I was there. Although women were friendly I got rejected most times with one instadate that went nowhere (i think she was just polite and couldn't refure a free drink).
Online game was somewhat fruitful though very time consuming. Sites I recommend to use are mamba.ru, draugas.lt and tinder. When conversing I found out many already had a kid, were divorced or looked worse in-person than their profiles. Having been spoiled by the beauty of the club girls I found quality on these sites average at best. Generally the one's with kids were very eager to meet with me but alas that is a major red flag to me. I got a few matches on tinder

but after a couple dozen swipes I had exhausted all the women in 160km radius (max that tinder would allow). Warning: Tinder use is very low in Vilnius. Wonder how other guys on the forums manage to get tinder dates so soon in small capital cities (or do they put up troll accounts with themselves shirtless) and how do you screen a girl for red flags such as kid/divorcee when tinder doesn't give you any background info. Do you ask upfront? Can any of you guys offer tips?

Women:
I've been to over 50 countries extensively and to me Lithuanian women are the second most beautiful in the world, right behind Ukrainians. I would especially recommend it to those guys who love tall, blonde women. They don't dress as "slutty" as the Ukrainians and other than weekends relatively few short skirt, high heel combinations were seen. I usually approach these types of women while day gaming as I figure they are looking for attention and are willing to go out for night life however even in summer, pickings were slimmer than I expected.Also, there were very many women who seemed to be in their physical prime (20s) but already with kids. It seems like they don't wait here at all and the norm is for a woman to marry and have kids at the latest by 30. This put a damper a bit in my club game as I was forced to approach much younger (students) women than I'm used to. Nevertheless if you love tall, blonde women (i'd peg the blonde,brunette,redhead ratio at 40/55/5% here), then this country should be near the the top of your list.

Nightlife (night game): I partially blame myself for not doing well in Vilnius as I was not getting good sleep and energy levels were low, so my approaches were not aggressive enough. What also maade it hard were the huge groups of obnoxious British, Italian and Spanish stag party guys with entourages. Disco 311 club is probably the best place for the younger foreigners as very-high level energy game is required here and the crowd was mostly 18-25 year olds with a few older guys like myself. I observed a couple brothas putting in very minimal effort to attract some blondes. Disco 311 and Salento were two places where girls seemed more eager to meet foreign guys, especially minorities. I was told to avoid Buddha Disco 311 by my cousin as according to him the girls were too young there and sluttly but nevertheless I checked it out. The only night when I had good energy levels (slept for 9 hours beforehand, followed by a workout and sauna, and a healthy mean) I did well here. Surprisingly ratio's were bad and face control is tough (do not even try to get into it drunk or badly dressed) but I got multiple makeouts and a DTF girl who I considered taking back for an afterparty but slowly realized that all that effort does not justify going for a 5.5.

I did do some social experiments approaching girls in 3 different languages, Lithuanian, Russian, English. Since I was getting little traction in Lithuanian and no exotic factor I started using English just for the heck of it to see what comments they would make and how they would react. My social experiment proved again that for approaches knowing the local language (especially of a small country like Lithuanian) doesn't really help. On the contrary if one go’s to a foreigner club (Salento) you are expected to communicate in English and try to show off. The few times where I see your local language skills kick into high gear if the girls don't know that you speak their lingo. For example I approached a 2 set at Salento using English and the girls spoke with me but were rather aloof. Then one of the girls told the other in Lithuanian to "stop talking to the old guy" referring to me. Of course they had no clue that I was fluent in Lithuanian so then I told them to not be so judgmental as I saw no other guys talking to them. Their jaws just dropped as I was probably the first and only guy to approach them all night long in the local language. At the same club I approached a fit Belorussian girl, easily an 8, in the VIP area who pretended that she spoke no English. Then I changed to Russian and she was speechless, surprised that a "foreigner" like myself would speak Russian when I approached her in English. I kept talking to her and felt that progress was good until 2 of her girlfriends and a buff male friend came in and I got cock-blocked. I did acquire digits but alas she was leaving the country the next day.
At another place (Seacrets nightclub) I was face controlled, pretty sure it was due the fact that I was running solo and had no girl with me. Do any of you guys experience problems overseas like this, being face controlled by clubs for running solo? Mind you I was suited up and definitely not drunk. This club only works Friday & Saturday nights but had extremely high talent judging by the crowd trying to get in. Would love to hear others experiences with Seacrets.

Below is a list of places I frequented during my trip, quick notes on them and my ratings:

Brodvejus - best mix of pub and club in my oppinion. Right off Vilnius Street. Good mix of foreigners and locals, decent ratios and excellent dance floor from which to pull. Not much happening on weekdays but weekends this place is hopping. Highy recommend for both happy hour and late night pulls. A+


Portobello - a British themed pub with an old London telephone booth for an entrace. One of the best outdoor decks in all of Vilnius, great to start the night off with drinks before heading off for the night. Not very conducive to pulling as barely any bar exists and everyone sits in large mostly mixed groups. A wing or two is required for this place. B

Mojo - if you want a traditional club in the centre of the city with good EDM then this is it. Easier face control than at Buddha with a slightly older crowd. Girls were friendly and easy to approach though I had a hard time escalating and getting more than numbers. B+

Disco 311 Buddha - yes, it is a foreigners trap, yes it is overpriced, and yes face control can be a bitch but if you want a slutty girl this is the place to end your weekend night out. A


Metro – this is the only place that will still be open on weekdays at 6am. So if you are desperate for a drink, don’t mind meeting hipster/rocker types, and still want to attempt to get laid against all odds and bad ratios then by all means try it out. C

Cocaine - on Gediminas street, closest club to the historic Cathedral square. Lively atmosphere, great dance music and good ratios. Mostly 5-7s here but a lot of hookup potential. I should have done well here but my energy levels were lacking for the ultra young girls here. I will be back! B-

Pabo Latino – large posh club, spread over 3 floors (including an outdoor lounge area) with Latin/Top40 music and crazy dancing happening everywhere. Relatively steep cover of 20Lytas but that included a free drink. At the bar 80% of the people were guys, on the dance floor 80% were women. Guys were not approaching other than a couple middle aged foreigners who I saw stepping to the beats of salsa on the dance floor with women half their age. Decent ratios and possibly top talent looks wise in all of Vilnius. Alas, many girls come to dance only. If you know Salsa or bachatta then you have a very high chance of pulling at this place however if you prefer pubs and use drunken game to pull girls then skip this. Local guys are little competition here as they just congregate at the bar area and oggle at the girls. I would recommend it to any foreign guy (especially visible minorities) who knows how to dance well to use this place as their base of operations. I am still speechless by this place, saw more 8s & 9s here than at places much larger. B+

Paparazzi - An expensive smallish lounge off Gediminas prospekt, has a large rectangular bar so very easy to make eye contact with others. Chill place during the evening but turns into a buzzing club at night for pickup. Lot's of great looking people, I recommend going here in late evening (around midnight) suited-up when the place is packed. Your competition will be suited-up business man and rich, young professionals buying overpriced cocktails for the girls. Ratio's were favorable, women even dominated the bar area. A-

Cash Lounge - similar to Paparazzi but only worth going to Friday/Saturday nights. Good place if you're an older guy as I saw many women in their 30s. My next trip to Vilnius I will make this my go to place. Only problems is lot’s of big groups of girls dancing in circles, a wing is a must. A


Studio 9 - a very large lounge/bar/ located in city center with an outdoor patio for live music. Good place for a date and for happy hour. B+


Salento – What can I say, I wanted to hate this place. I thought I would not go here unless I failed in other places yet I found myself at this place every night running game and finding drunk wingmans (which in hindsight hurt my game more than helped). If you have you been to Shooters or Vodka bar (back when it was still open) in Kiev, Ukraine you know the type of place I’m talking about. If not then you have to go here. Every foreigner and their cousin eventually end up at this place and try to hook up. Ratios would start off well but towards the end of the night turned into sausage fests. Try to finish your business here and get out by 3am, before the guys get desperate and women raise their *bitch* shields. Stripper poles, girls dancing on tables, fireworks, and saw all types of debauchery on the dance floor and in the dimly lit VIP areas. Highy recommended especially for southern European guys as I saw hookups strictly based on exotic factor. Only place in Vilnius where I felt the Lithuanian guys were at a disadvantage. A


Piano Man Bar - typical piano bar but with a very friendly crowd, good ratios, and women ready to talk. The couple times I went there the piano player did not play but 80s/90s dance music was at full volume on the dance floor and women were ready to grind. Enjoyable atmosphere. B-

Artistai Klubas - one of the largest bars in old town, especially nice during the summer on the outdoor patio. Although most people were in mixed groups outside, indoors the scene was different and plenty of solo/2set women at the bar. Not too loud, so great place for conversation and to make casual approaches. B

Summary: As stated before Vilnius is "full of very friendly, highly educated young people, with numerous stunning women who know their worth and won't open up easily. Little foreigner value here so good game is a must". Also, the city can only be properly gamed Th-Saturday, the rest of the time you either need to pipeline or if in summer-time leave for the beach resorts of Palanga and Klaipeda.

One thing about Vilnius. Every time I go there and take a taxi from the airport and ask in English I get like 3x the normal price. When I ask in Russian I get normal price. Other than that its a nice city. Ive been there both in winter and summer but I even liked winter better. I stayed in 5 star hotel in the central Plaza and it was like 100 euros. Going out to eat is cheap but the quality is also not very good.

I usually stay in upscale airbnb apartments in central locations of all the capital cities I visit. There is no reason to stay in a 4+ star hotel, especially since most of them have strict policies that you have to register all guests you bring after 11:30pm or so. I know this policy applies to the Radisson hotel in old town Vilnius as I have stayed there before. Just this one hurdle can completely ruin your logistics and the intimacy you've developed with the girl, as for a minute while she is registering the hotel staff almost give you the "death stare" wrongly assuming that you're bringing a prostitute back

As for food it is both cheap and quality is VERY GOOD. Perhaps you were expecting Paris type food in Vilnius?

I definitely enjoyed Vilnius as well, and would no doubt go back. The women were amazing and easier to meet than in Riga. I thought it had good restaurants, and although a small city, it makes up for it with style. I don't recall as many stag parties as you're mentioning, but I did go in a more off season.

A few other places for those going there:
-Bistro 18
-Trakai Castle-about a 30 min bus ride, but worth it.
-I'll second Studio 9. Very cool place. It's funny you mentioned it, I did bring a girl there for a date who I ended up banging later that night.

A cool chick I met the first time I went, gave me a list of places to hit up the second time around...she wasn't in town then. Unfortunately she got back to me after the trip was over, so I didn't get to confirm many of these places. A few mirror what TripleG noted.

Hi man,

Great datasheet, shame that I didn't see it when I was there and that and we couldn't meet. I would like to add my impressions in the two nights I stayed there.

It was wednesday and thursday and, as you said, the city was pretty quiet. I expect this to be different when the students come back but everybody seemed to be on holiday at the moment. I hit Salento on Wednesday and Buddah and Salento again on Thursday. I have to admit that I hated Salento, the quality level was pretty low and in general the girls were quite jaded as the ratio was fucked up and the guys were super intense. Buddah seemed to be better but it was pretty empty the night I went to. I assume there's more potential on weekends.

Where I was extremely successful was on Tinder. I scored around 20 matches in 10 hours. Only in Brazil I had more success in such short time. The average age was 23 or so, so I don't think they had kids. I couldn't meet any of the girls unfortunately but I have them on fb and they seem legit. Maybe next time.

I had to leave for Georgia (which in hindsight was a mistake but well...) but my friends stayed and they say that the weekend is a completely different animal. Gorgeous girls with good attitudes. These guys have game and are the kind of people who would buy a bottle or two in a club so they have an advantage in that sense. They raved about Tarantino, and really liked Pabo Latino.

I also direct opened a gorgeous girl on the street (the quality on the streets is definitely impressive) and she was receptive but it was raining and she was in a hurry so I could only get a number a fb contact and a vague promise of meeting some other time. In general I was impressed and how good the English level is in the city.

I think Vilnius is a city worth visiting again with better logistics in place. I'll be back soon I think.

Is it really that bad? How old those men were? Were they good looking or losers?
I was planning on visiting Vilnius but these datasheet are putting me off.

You have to remember that Vilnius has a relatively small downtown (oldtown) party area so even if there's only five hundred or so stag party visitors every weekend they will be felt at all the clubs/bars to a certain extent. It is nowhere near as bad as some of the other EE cities I've been to (such as Riga and Kiev) but those cities are also much bigger, offer more variety, and have nightlife almost every night of the week unlike Vilnius.

Most of the foreigners were 25-40 years old, though I saw a funny scene at Buddha Disco 311 of a threesome of obviously 45+ year old British/Australian guys (their accents gave it away) being teased by barely legal LT chicks on the dance floor. Though there was some grinding I doubt they got anywhere and it looked pathetic as they had a table reservation in the corner with bottles yet no girls...

Salento would take the title for best place to meet girls if you want a ONS however that does not say much as overall Vilnius nightlife is quite conservative. Actually, if you want to increase your odds and have a wing-man don't go into Salento but stay at the cafe right outside Salento by the busy sidewalk. This seems to be the unofficial meetup place for a lot of the girls who hit up the late night clubs...while there will be plenty of thirsty dudes there if you have basic game there should also be no shortage of girls who are smoking and waitin' to hit up the nightlife. Chat them up and ask what clubs/bars are poppin' on a given nite.

Almost all the girls at both Salento and Buddha are local (I count the odd Russians as locals as well). Most of the girls at Buddha Bar are too young for me so I prefer Salento. Also, for later in the night check out Cash Lounge. I had good luck there, though make sure you are "dressed to impress".

I guess the girls in Salento are more clever than in Buddha Bar. I am also looking for a dialogue, not necessary only one night stand. I am staying in Vilnius for 3 days at the beginning of October. I am just thinking about a place where I can go. Are these clubs open on Thursday or only on weekends?

All the clubs I went to were open on Thursdays with the exception of Mojo. If you do end up going out on a slow weekday night you could always try Cocaine Club next to Cathedral square.
