Is it worth it? I don't know. For some yes, for some no. But I refuse to accept that it is universally worth it. Doing so presupposes that money is the ultimate goal that can compensate for anything, and I don't believe that.

If you offered me 100 million dollars with a guarantee that this would happen to me (or some equivalent - maybe being gang raped by convicts in the prison shower?), I don't think I'd take it. My soul, dignity and peace of mind are worth more than any amount of marginal happiness brought by infinite money. I accept that not everyone would make that choice, but I don't think it's "hating" to acknowledge that there is not an universal answer to that question.

Also, that picture has been obviously-manipulated to remove all of her flaws. Note the uniformity of the skin tones of her face, chest and edges of her breast. It's a photoshop tool that turns her into fantasy. Any approved picture of a celebrity has undergone this process, and it's a waste of time basing any expectations of woman upon them, so I honestly have no idea what this Kim woman looks like.

I've been critical of Kanye both here and on ROK, but I have to be honest about the one thing Kanye really has going for him: music.

Kanye is an extremely talented producer and artist. He has a natural ear for beats and tunes that appeal to large swathes of the planet's population and are therefore prone to becoming big hits. He also has a knack for creating such music himself and writing quality lyrics to go with it.

He has won more Grammys than all but 8 musicians in history (5 if we're just talking about men). Several of his albums have been widely praised by respected musical critics (ex: Rolling Stone) as among the best ever made. All five of his solo studio albums have gone platinum. The list of top singles he has produced for other artists is amazing (Dreams, Find Your Love, Young Forever, Izzo, and more) and he's had 5 straight albums go to No. 1.

The guy is, quite honestly, one of the most gifted musical talents alive right now. That is a fact and I think the chances of any of the members of this forum possessing a level of giftedness on the scale of Kanye's is pretty low. That's not an insult, its just me telling it like it is.

Again, Kanye ain't an intellectual, he's kind of a simp/hypocrite and he dresses and kind of acts like a bitch. Frankly, there's a lot I don't like about the man and I don't know if I would even get along with him on a personal level.

Despite all of that, I still find myself drawn by a lot of his music and respectful of his general ability. He is good at what he does. There's no way around that fact-it is the reason why we're even here discussing his relationships and finances in the first place.

Yeah the saturation of celebrity/fame in our culture is getting ridiculous.

Take pop music for example.

I know lyrics of songs I can't stand, simply because of unintended exposure.

I never choose to play certain music, but at the same time, you get it from:

- Shopping at the mall
- Hold music
- In the club
- Lyrics being quoted in newspapers for puns, or posts on social media
- Ads before online videos
- Getting groceries
- The latest movies

And that's all without even having cable on TV or turning on the radio.
