I kind of just quit cold turkey, once my injections where gone that was that. I thought my body would start naturally making it again within a few months. I didn't really feel this bad at first so I figured my natural levels would kick back in and I could go from there.

I think its just the perfect shit storm of things thats keeping me unmotivated. Moving back to lame town which I hate, eating shit food, not working, low T, the list goes on. I dont really feel depressed or anything... In reality I know that shits going well and the future is bright, its the "now" that I am struggling with.

I at least realize there seems to be a problem. I tried at the end of last week to get my script refilled. I will more then likely go ahead and try and make an appointment with the doc this week. I also was getting ready to work out this evening but then my neighbor showed up with a big plate full of BBQ ribs off the grill... I couldn't turn those down and after eating that shit I took a nap instead of working out haha.

The doc just took some blood work today. I go back tomorrow. I am starting to second guess getting back on TRT. There is a lot to it, seems like people are constantly getting blood work to check test, estrogen ect. Tweaking little things left and right. I am not sure how this is gonna fit into my traveling lifestyle. Constantly trying to find doctors in foreign countries to run my labs and give me the prescriptions I need. My testosterone level was 378 when I got it checked back in October, its on the low side on normal. I was eating pretty healthy and working out before I got it checked then to.

I'm pretty on the fence about this. I am gonna talk to the doc tomorrow and see what he says. I may end up back on it or I may end up just waiting till I am a little older and really need it. Ofcourse it may also just be that my low testosterone thats making me so unmotivated right now is making me feel like its to much of a hassle to get back on ha.

And what is complicated about a 200 mg shot of test cyp every 7 days?

Test is OTC in most countries. Just go into a pharma and buy an amp if you're not going to stay long enough to use a 10 ml vial.

I don't sell test so I have no motive in what you do.

Cr33pin, listen to Mike. This is not rocket science. I read the t-nation forums and all the jazz about the "optimal" regime being test, hcg, arimidex, etc. Not necessary. I do 100 mg/week of test cyp split into 3 injections/week. That's it. Estrogen levels are not so high that anti-estrogens are required. I have travelled internationally with pre-loaded test syringes going through X-ray machines in EU and US. No issues at all. Just do what other successful people have done.

Forget talking to the doc. Most doc's don't know shit about this...they will give you a patch or cream or some nonsense. Unless you know for a fact that this guy knows what's up (they do exist), assume they know nothing.

Is there a list of countries where test is OTC? I have it on scrip, so not needed, but would be good to know.

I went on yelp to find mine. What I found odd here in San Diego was the big named T replacement people didn't really know jack shit. They wanted to start me off on 50mg of test a week and they planned on charging me 250 - 300 a month.

The guy I found was a naturopathic doc who really knew his stuff and gave me a prescription to do it all on my own. I just need to see him every few months with blood work for the first year and the subsequent years will probably 1x a year.

My Testosterone level was at 486 yesterday. I haven't had a injection since sometime in early January and before I began my TRT my Testosterone was 378. I thought that was kind of odd, the way I was feeling I thought it was gonna come back around my natural level or lower.

I got my prescription back and I plan on doing 50mg every 5 days. I gave myself my first shot tonight. My GF had been injecting me during my last cycle. It took me a minute to stick that needle in my ass, I was a little nervous... But when I did I didn't feel anything. I wasn't sure if I had even stuck the needle in.

So thats that I am back on TRT and will continue to post about my experience. This is a good thread for others with questions or experiences to post in as well.

If you're going to be on it for life, no need to punish yourself with deep I shots. Sub-q with 27 Guage works just as well.

I read your post on DNP about TRT and then read all of the comments before getting on TRT back in October. Also I always read your post about anything lifestyle related on here. I will check out that podcast tomorrow. I have never listened to any podcast before. What format do they download in? Pod cast seem like they would be perfect my long ass road trips I have been taking. Just put them on a cd (I'm old school and still use these) and drive and learn for hours.

I'm sure I will find out what seems to be the best sized needle in the pod cast but are you saying the needles I have are to big?

How bout a update
So I have been back on TRT for right at 2 months now. I am feeling great, good energy, good mood, working out and feeling good afterwards. One big thing I notice is my cardio seems to be on point. After I do some running or play basketball I always still have juice in the tank. I been playing basketball with a friend my age who is in good shape, he just finished that t25 program and did insanity and things like that. However at the end of the games he is way out of breath an looks like he is dying and I'm ready for another game. I don't notice a huge difference when I am lifting weights like I do when it comes to cardio.

As far as libido and boners I haven't noticed much a change. Of course its now summer time to which is always the season that brings the best out of me.

Just in the last week I started going 60ml injections every 5 days instead of 50ml. Once I run out of this bottle and get all my blood work done and see how everything is looking I might see about going up on the dosage some more... We shall see.

How come you're pinning every 5 days? To me that's too much time to in between. Most guys who can inject themselves go every 3 - 3.5 days. Half life of test cyp is about 4-5 days with a peak around 2 days.

At two months I would have done my blood work by now. Especially if I was trying to dial everything in. I inject .40ml/ every 3.5 days and my T at the lowest is 950 with E2 sitting at 32. Everything else is good to go.

Well my original dosage when I first got on TRT was 100mg every 10 days, which I only did that twice then switched to 100 mg every 7 days. Then I ended up on a 2 or 3 month break cause I couldn't get my script refilled. This time around I thought 50mg every 5 days would be pretty good, and was hoping with that dosage I wouldn't have to worry about my Estrogen levels.

I wanted to try an go about this on the safer side and not get carried away. I wanted to start on a lower dose and see how my body reacted to TRT and how my blood work came back.

Thanks for the input tho I am more then welcome to suggestions and ideas. Thats one of the main reasons I started this thread. I will try to set up a Doc appointment next week and get my blood work done and then see about switching up the dosage.

Thug Muffin do you inject into your glutes? Also what size need do you use? Apparently the needle I am using 23G x 1 (0.6mm x 25mm) are to large. All tho I really don't notice any pain or anything when I inject into my glutes.

Also check out T-Nations board for T Replacement. Here's a good post on injection protocols.

To me you're not injecting frequently enough but I think getting blood work done(either the day before or day of your next injection) will really let you know. I'd get that done as soon as I could if I was in your position. I've got insurance that will cover it but I hate waiting on a Dr for my bloods. It takes a week or two to set an appointment then another 3-10 days for my results. I just go to PrivateMD labs and get the tests I want done when I want it.

I inject in my delts(25g 5/8 inch) and quads(25g 1 inch needle). I need to cycle in my glutes as well though. I used to do 23 in the beginning and it didn't bother me in my quads. However think about the amount of injections(holes) you're going to pop into that muscle over your lifetime(3000+ depending on your age). I want to make those holes as minimal as possible. Now at 25g needles everything else looks like this huge whale harpoon. I cringe thinking about using a 23g. Just go to the pharmacy and ask for different sized needles. No need to wait on your doc to prescribe something different.

Also just to clarify are you injecting 50 mgs or .6 ml every 5 days? There's a huge discrepancy between those two values.

Honestly I felt awful. Thats why I went and got my levels checked. I think the awful feelings came from the fact I just left my dope house at the beach and had to move back to my hometown. An it was cold shitty winter in my hometown to, as if my hometown was not lame enough.

With the way I was feeling (depressed, lethargic, unmotivated) I thought my T levels where gonna be crazy low. I was surprised when the lab work came back and said it was higher then my starting point. Again a lot of lifestyle factors played in to my slump.

You do subq test injections, MikeCF? I knew you recommended using 28g slin pins but I guess I assumed your were still going intramuscular.
