I'm going to add some info on
Dublin.
I'm Eastern European and I've been living here for the last couple of years. I'm average looking, have weak game and I mostly go out at the weekends so YMMV.
Random thoughts:
1. On average Irish girls are far below continental Europe quality wise: fatty, too much of a make up, unfeminine, etc but those few that are hot, are unbelievably hot.
2. Irish lads and lasses are friendly, funny, great at banter and storytelling but be aware - if you are not accustomed to harsh jokes, insulting and wittiness you can be eaten alive.
3. Cockblocking is very rare but I experienced one crazy situation - I was hitting on a Irish blonde in front of a rock band playing in one of the pubs in
Dublin. Girl was responsive and I started kino when a singer jumped off the stage and started yelling that If I don't like his music I can leave etc clearly pulling me away from the girl
I laughed him off and turned back to the girl but he waived the security guy who asked me to leave. Once outside this singer lad threatened me, wanted to fight me and throw xenophobic slogans. I was drunk and he has doorman beside him so I passed the challenge. Definitely that was wrong girl to hit on!
Never experienced anything like it in Ireland again.
4. Best looking slim middle-class Irish girls I pulled from pubs on the outskirts of
Dublin i.e. Malahide, Skerries, Deansgrange etc but again it's not an easy task because it's hit or miss, they are usually with their friends and you have to deal with their bitch-shields.
Most popular night clubs and pubs in city centre and my thoughts:
-
Play,
La Fayette,
Q bar around D'olier Street - cheap clubs for working class teens and foreigners. Quite a lot of good looking chicks in their late teens and early twenties. I'm too old to play there.
-
Copper Face Jacks - happy drunken nights, a lot of teens and students,
-
Dicey's/Krystle - legendary Tuesday's nights with heaps of foreign students, very easy to pull, on the weekends the crowd is average, (side note: there are quite a few nice spots on Harbour Street so it's a good place to be on general)
- recently open
Bond club on Harcourt Street - old crowd, low quality
-
Odeon on Harcourt Street - good number of high quality girls, expansive (9.20 euro for Jameson/coke WTF??), best to hit around 9 p.m. before clubs open, not easy,
-
Dandelion beside St Steven shopping centre - usually older crowd (around 30) with a few foreigners mixed, expensive and the quality of girls is average but for some reason it's been the easiest place to pull for me, not sure why.
-
Mercantile on Dame street - good concerts, salsa downstairs, a lot of Brazilians, Venezuelans etc,
-
4 Dame Lane - average club for no fuss night out,
-
Cafe en Seine - my favourite place recently, expensive, nice mix of Latina, EE and thirty-something local girls,
- for Eastern European girls I hit
Pifko,
Czech Inn,
Living room and
Break for the boarder.
- for tourist chicks I'd go to Temple Bar area, i.e.
Fitzsimons,
Morgan etc
There are other options but these are my most recent visited places.
My favourite spots for day instadates:
Tea Garden and
Amir's Delights on Ormond Quay,
Wall & Keogh on Richmond Street,
Paris Bakery on Moore Street.
Good spot for foreign girls, especially Latinas, is
Epicurean Food Court on Abbey street.
Hope this helps a bit anyone visiting
Dublin.
Sorry for my poor English!
