The Case Against Online Dating

Women's attitude on online dating sites reminds me of the Groucho Marx quote:

"I don't care to belong to any club that will have me as a member"

They DLV guys who do online dating, because we are pursuing second rate broads like themselves.

Take care of those titties for me.

if you are the top 15% you will do good, less and you will do bad and when succeed will be friendzoned. The chicks always have another option around the corner.

This is what I've been saying all along. Online dating is very much an 80/20 thing. The top few men on dating sites are killing it on there. Average men will have zero success on dating sites. And by average men, I'm not talking about creeps or betas per se. Just normal guys who may be average height, average looks, average income. Guys that in a different era would've easily found wives, had families and been the bedrock of their community.

There's been a pretty widely discussed article where someone did an experiment with online dating and posted the numbers. The best looking guy got 38 messages from women, whereas the "average" guys got only a couple. Even still, the 38 unsolicited messages the guy got pales in comparison to the 536 messages that the best looking girl got.

Indeed, for MOST men, online dating is a complete waste of time. It's overwhelming for good-looking women, it's even good to average women. It's good for top-tier men. But if you are a genetically average man, you'll need luck on your side.

I think online is great for beginners first learning game. It has been for me. It allowed me to shortcut the approach => number => date process, and instead start with the date => bang portion of game.

In other words, online allowed me to learn how to take girls home from dates before I ever learned how to cold approach and number close in person.

I learned to overcome LMR and develop abundance mentality before I learned how to ramble during approaches or deal with approach anxiety.

It's an inside-out way to learn game, I think, but in my own experience it has given me strong fundamentals.

Many ways to skin a cat.

Doing online dating exclusively is not good for overall game development.

In a way it makes everything easier.

You have bitches numbers in your phone who you have never met. Some of them decide to show up to a bar next door to your place and start drinking w you.

You still have to game them, but basically they're down to begin with, so it's don't fuck this up game basically.

So I can see how it might not help in your game development. But it definitely helps get you laid. So...

It works. The issue with doing it exclusively is that your date game and getting the lay get better, but approach game goes way down. There's also something lost for me, as sending an email is easier than approaching in real life. It's also flooded, I bet a lot of guys on online sites have never done a real approach in their lives. I do everything, I like day game the best and online because it gets me steady bangs.
