How old are you?
Let's talk shoes
I'd say look at this
It's hard to say without knowing your individual style. I don't remember who said it but the main thing is to develop "a look". It doesn't really matter what it is but it should all kind of work together so keep that in mind. For instance I am more into leather dress shoes but I think at your age it wouldn't look right.

Not bad. I have to make it work with the uniform but fuck it. Not too long of a time left. I fucking hate Aldo though xD
You can check out my style in previous pages of this thread. I've posted some shoes I've gotten. I take pride in my appearance.

Basically you are looking something congruent with your age bracket but will set you apart from all the schlubs wearing dirty reeboks.
Yea, I don't wear Aldo's either, but I've always liked their canvas shoes.
Looks like you are willing to pay a little extra for nice shoes. I'd check out Magnanni.

I think this is a good price for a dress shoe if you can find the right size.

If you want to watch someone who takes shoes too seriously shine shoes...this is pretty decent video

Don't get me wrong I like my dress shoes, but I don't wear a suit to shine them.

Just snagged some Mark Nason oxford wingtip boots in chocolate off of eGay for 135 shipped. Brand new. Gonna make this shitty day of work worth it.

I like those a lot, although the company shouldn't have called them oxfords, which they are not in any sense. They are bucks.
They'll go well with any lighter colored pants - tan, beige, khaki, cream, white, light green, pink, red, yellow. They might work with some darker shades too. Bucks are a versatile casual shoe and navy blue is a versatile color.
I agree they won't go well with dark blue jeans but if that is mostly what you're wearing maybe you should expand your wardrobe

Holy shit. I actually copped these. Now, I know that cheaper shoes aren't going to be the same quality and won't hold up but DSW fucking sucks.
They look great from about 10ft away, but closer inspection reveals scratches all over the front of the shoe like a toddler took a pair of keys to them. There are already bends in the leather, also warping in the leather which is different than what normal wear would cause, there is fraying in the brogueing, and some sort of dark brown smudges where it looks like the glue is melted.
I'm about to give these people hell. Hopefully the Clarks Bushacre boots I ordered also don't turn up at my door looking like this.
P.S. Their shipping method is a shoebox inside of a bag made of a single layer of bubble wrap
Looking for a quality pair of black cowboys boots, preferably square toe. Some that I could wear with some dark jeans and "possibly" dress pants. I like my Boulet ostrich skin brown boots. They are ridiculously cofortable. They don't always look good in the night club scene though. Don't really wanna spend more than $400 on these. Once I find a pair I like I'll be searching around for sales and coupons. Not sure if I wanna get ostrich boots again or go with a different leather.
I picked up a pair of these yesterday. Fit well, looked good with my jeans and was comfortable.

Rock these with black or white skinny jeans.
Actually as a little tip, if you want a cheap alternative to boots and you have a bit of a 'rocky' look, get a pair of black Converse that don't scream the Converse logo too loudly.
Get the tongue out nice and messy too :-P

DSW works well at their physical locations. Like you're saying, some of their shoes have a tendency to have scuff marks on the leather. So I just weed out the bad ones.
Just picked these Johnston & Murphy ellingtons up at a cheap price.
Just got these Mauri alligator monk-straps. Any thoughts on them? My
first pair of alligator shoes.
