I've shared in some other posts how I used to work in the modeling industry, casting, etc. A big part of my job was going to shoots with girls to make sure photographers didn't try to fuck them or push things too far with the shoots. Alot of the girls that modeled also worked in our office as either receiptionists or running casting calls so were friendly with the owners. Even if they landed independed gigs outside our office, the job had a lot of downtime where I'd be sitting around the office watching tv or just walking around the city so they'd send me out with girls to shoots to make sure nobody tried anything and also alot of times one thing would be agreed on as far as topless or whwatever and photographers would always try to push it so if things went beyond what they were comfortable with my job would basically be to step in.

My main point however is if you dont know photography people will see it a mile away. Also, it's not a cheap hobby to get into and to be good or even decent takes some level of skill or knowledge so if you aren't really interested in photography and are tyring to do this just to get some pussy there are cheaper and less time consuming ways to do so. If you have an interest in photography its an added perk that your hobby is something that can get you laid.

At the same time if your actually good at photography I'd be careful not to push too hard and ruin a reputation if it makes you good money.

Plus the better you get at photography the more girls will want to work with you
and the easier it is to build your social circle.

That the real target. It's not necessarily the girls who do a shoot with you,
it's their connections and friends that you want.

If you combined photography game with dinner host party game with
facebook game that could be an explosive combination:-)

You guys are inspiring me. I just got a Canon Rebel SL1. I'm gonna look for a class or read a book on BW photography, then practice some, then go on ModelMayhem and Craigslist.

If you're looking to break into photography and want some subjects for free advertise time for prints for models. It's basically a trade your time for their time they get photos you get something for your portfolio, have them sign a model release.

Now your not going to get a ton of bites because over half of women will just think your some creep and not a real photogrpaher which is fine but you will get some. Honestly I wouldn't be too push with chicks because most wanna be model chicks have 20 other wanna be model chicks so if you treat one right and actually take some good pics she'll probably send a dozen of her gf's over to you.

Not saying not to use the photo gig to get bangs but I'd flirt a little bit be friendly and maybe a week or two after a shoot do your thing so your not just a sleezy photographer trying to fuck all his models.

I'd also suggest getting a studio space or if you have a buddy who has their own business, has a garage, wearhouse, etc throw up some backdrops and setup a little studio in there. You really can't be inviting chicks to your house for a photo shoot and though outdoor stuff is cool it makes wardrobe changes and stuff like that a pian in the ass plus you cant control the weather.

If you can put pussy to the side a bit and really wanna build a rep I'd suggest doing some product photography. Doesn't have to be any bigshot stuff like shooting watches for Maxim or GQ's gadget section. Reach out to ecommerce businesses, small boutique shops maybe in the downtown of your area, etc. Almost nobody knows how to really do product and macro photography well. Most everyone I find is people who charge thousands and are geared towards big companies doing catalogues and stuff, nobody is really doing this for small time ecommerce people, boutique shops, even large ebay sellers with a consistant product.

You could really make a killing and make a name for yourself, probably get a lot of referals as well.

OK, I absolutely dig your idea, but what if I am absolutely unwilling to buy any other camera gear than the friggin' iPhone (or insert your smartphone of choice w/ acceptable and better camera). Even not the Sony RX100 series, which I mentioned above.

Maybe not product photography is for me, but something else? Cats and dogs, perhaps? Any tips are appreciated.

You know, gear just doesn't fit in my carry-on bag and I am really not the Guy With Camera type. At least, I try.
