What Happened To NLP?

NLP is alive and well. I use it everyday. Not only in talking to girls but in talking to everybody.

They way you talk, the words you use, your tone, your volume, etc,

It's all part of how people perceive you.

Exactly. Years ago I took a look at some NLP "scripts" or whatever they are called and found that I normally speak in a way that uses a fair number of the principles it's based on.

It's basically the old "It's not what you say, but how say it." deal taken to a higher level.

What Happened To NLP?

The biggest thing I learned from NLP was realizing the power of words.

I read some books and articles on it years ago and still use some of the principles to this day. I don't even realize that I'm doing it, but especially during dates I'll phrase things in a certain way to get their imaginations going in the right direction.

For example after a drink or two I'll say something like:

"You know, it's cool to find someone who you can just let loose around...someone who you feel that vibe with...like we're in our own little world"

Is this strict "NLP"? Probably not, but I've found that using vague words/phrasing in addition to physically escalating ups the sexual tension.

This guy used NLP on me in this thread:

http://www.rooshvforum.network/thread-19977-...#pid356308

Notice how he said, "I like the way you argue....However"

Genius use of language!

I think that for the purposes of game the most useful concepts of NLP are

1) The yes set
2) Pacing and leading
3) Anchors (especially during sex)

I really think that the concepts are more useful than the techniques themselves. learn the concept and integrate it into your verbal game in a natural way, don't copy the lines from any book.
