One thing that struck me as odd was the number of Russians who were holidaying there. I am talking fucktons, to the point that I felt like I was in Siberia at times. Most of the menus are in Russian before they are in English, and there are many places that are geared towards Russians too. Even the TV channels in the hotel have more Russian channels than English.

Now you would think this is a good thing, but I have no idea where the hell these Russians came from. It has to be the ugliest collection of people I have ever seen. The vast majority of them are families or couples, but even the few single women around were very, very average. By Russian standards, they were downright nasty for the most part, and if anyone has been to Nha Trang I will say that its not a reflection on the average Russian woman at all.

Maybe they are advertising it in really poor areas or its a budget holiday for them of some sort, but it was dire at times. Fat, miserable fucking village trash everywhere, with manners to boot. I think the lot of them came from Chernobyl, and these were the ones staying the 4 star hotels.

The Viet women are sexy as fuck at times, but language was a huge issue for me. Not to mention my hotel policy was clear that marriage certificates are required, so you bring in a Viet girl and they are clearly trying to make sure she is not a hooker. Im not sure if this is policy everywhere, but I was told its pretty common for most of the hotels who are clearly beating off sex tourists. So throw in what is widely known as a conservative culture, and you would need to be there a while before you are lash one or two.

Which leaves backpackers, and quite honestly I would rather masturbate in the lobby of my hotel at 10:00AM as everyone is checking out than stick my dick in another one of them.

So all up, Ill just say that its a shit hole that offers next to nothing. If you want a quiet beach holiday, there are tons of places that are better and easier to get to. If you want to take a chick somewhere, this is not the place to be going either, its bargain basement level shit. It also seems to have a "vibrant expat community", ie: retired westerners chasing local whores and spending their days in bars with all the other winners.

As for women? Waste of time unless you are chasing backpackers or spend a long time there chasing local women, in which case you are better off in Hanoi or Saigon to be honest.

All up, the place has potential, but it needs a solid 15 years or so before its going to rival the twenty million other resort towns that leave this crap hole in the dust.

So, I recently did Nha Trang. I'm going to have to disagree with the OP's assessment. I had a blast, thought it was great, and got two notches in 3 nights out at the club. The night I failed, I was tired and when home at 12:30AM, and missed a booty-call text from a girl leaving the next morning. So, I came close to going 3/3 on nights out. A banned forum recommended Nha Trang to me, and told me the one Russian club in town was like shooting fish in a barrel. He wasn't lying. While the quality in the club wasn't Moscow-level by any means, I still interacted with plenty of girls that any man on this board would happily nail. And, while on vacation, the girls are much more likely to bang quickly. Admittedly, one of my two bangs was a 6, but the other was an 8, who I laid on the beach.

I think there are probably three differences why my experience was different:
(1) I'm fluent in Russian. The Russian girls who go there are lower class, come from shitholes like Norilsk and Novokuznetsk, and generally do not speak English. Fluency in Russian can thus make all the difference. If Russian girls were off limits, I would not have enjoyed as much.
(2) After the Ruble devalued in 2014, fewer Russians can afford to go to Nha Trang. The ones that do are relatively richer, meaning relatively better selection. I did see a lot of ugly Russians, but in the clubs at night I also saw plenty of jail bait. The ratios in the club -- Zima -- were off the charts. I was the only non-Russian guy trying to swoop 20 single russian girls in the club, without a lot of visible Russian competition. Some asian guys, but Russian girls don't like them.
(3) I was escaping the European winter, and this was my first trip to SE Asia in 15 years. The nice weather and cool excursions were already going to make my trip a good experience. If you are backpacking around SE Asia, and comparing Nha Trang to other locations in the region, I can see why you might not think it's special. And, perhaps there are better places to swoop Russian girls on vacation. This is a family destination. But, it is still not hard to rack up Russian notches here.

I did go on three dates with a Vietnamese girls. The first was below my standards. The 2nd was cute enough, and I got a makeout and Donald Trump'd her (grabbed her by the p****y), but she wouldn't put out. I went on a third date with two Vietnamese girls who introduced me to delicious Vietnamese barbecue, and one of these girls I really liked. I banged a much hotter Russian girl that night though, so never got to hit it.

I would ignore Russian girls on tinder. It was always hard to meet up with them, as they went on various excursions. The place to meet them is at Club Zima, or on a Russian-speaking excursion. My first night at Zima I was holding hands with two girls within 5 minutes, and got a passionate makeout about 15 minutes after stepping foot in the club.

I also think a Chinese-speaking guy would have fun swooping Chinese girls on vacation here. By now, 90% of the tourists in Nha Trang are Chinese, not Russian. This probably has also changed, with more and more Chinese coming every year, and likely the same number of Russians. I only had one good interaction with a Chinese girl though, as most of them did not speak English and blew me out immediately. I was on the dance floor with two Russians draped all over me, and a Chinese girl with a guy grabbed me and danced wit the three of us! I was worried if I went for the interracial threesome, I would lose the Russian girls though, so I went for the hotter of the two Russians instead. They both came back to my hotel room, but wouldn't menage. I ended up nailing the hotter tall blonde on the beach.

Over all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Nha Trang for someone escaping the Russian winter. The best time to go is during the Women's Day holiday in Russia, when lots of Russian girls travel. However, I'm happy to believe that there are better locations in SE Asia to swoop Russian girls, or with better beaches or whatever. (I'm curious what they are)

About Russian girls, do you know if there are high/low seasons for Russian tourists there? I would imagine it's similar to Thailand, a lot of them visit during the winter.

So, I guess with the fall/winter monsoon, they start coming in mid-January, and some major Russian holidays will have lots of people. Women's Day is one (a lotta girls i know traveled), and of course the May Holidays. Russian girls complain that the Mediterranean is too cold to swim in the beginning of May, so presumably, many go to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, or SE Asia. Probably many in the warmer areas of the Mediterranean region (Israel, southern Turkey).

Hey. I spent a significant amount of time in Russian-speaking areas, including ukraine and Russia. I did a lot of one-on-one lessons, Russian only, for several years, and had several girlfriends that didn't speak English. This was how. It's a significant time investment, but worth it, in my opinion, if you want to spend significant time in this region and game Russian girls.

It is Chinese New Year now so there are more Chinese people than Russians. As the others wrote, most of the tourists are Chinese and Russians. Mostly young and middle-aged couples, families with children and mixed groups of 4 people (couples and friends).

I haven't been to any nightlife.

This was a report from 2013, 5 years later and I didn't see any Russians, the hotel policy on 'women in your room' has changed. It's just like Thailand now, anything goes.
I'd rate Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam/Philippines as roughly equal for easy women now.
Cambodia and Vietnam have far more cultural appeal and exciting scenery/ruins than other places.

Don't know how it is now, but a couple of months ago the only nightlife spot with many Russian girls was Z Club (Zima). During the day, saw some Russian women walking around, mostly either older or with boyfriends/husbands or both.

Chinese - they are freaking everywhere, in large groups as usual, many girls are with boyfriends/husbands. I didn't even bother trying.

I would say your best bet is to go to Z club, drink and keep hitting on chicks until something hooks. Get there maybe 11-12ish, have some drinks, talk to some girls, if you like a girl and she seems to like you, buy her a drink (obviously don't be a beta schmuck, use that option strategically). It's not a big club so you will get noticed if you keep walking around hitting on every chick. Not that it matters though. Russian bouncers/staff aren't white knights, so as long as you keep spending money and don't make any trouble you'll be ok. Right next to Z club there is a Vietnamese club which you can also check out. i did, but it kind of sucked when I went there, so I came back to Z.

I'm curious, surely that isn't a blanket immovable rule? Assuming such an asian guy was taller, built, dressed well and is more westernised; whether or not he can speak Russian? I haven't had issues with Russian girls elsewhere.

I'm just thinking that when Russian girls think of Asian guys the first thing that comes to their mind is immigrants from the Stans, yes, usually they don't like these guys but mostly because those guys have shitty jobs in Russia and have little money. That would apply to Russian girls in Russia, girls who haven't traveled much. If a good looking Asian guy with some money comes along I'm sure he can do very well with Russian chicks. Speaking Russian will definitely help and will give access to girls who don't speak English, but that's the same for non Asian guys.

I was in Nha Trang a couple years ago and although I never made it to Zima I went to that club right on the beach and I liked it, many Russians there, some Viet girls too. Overall I liked Nha Trang and I'd go back.
