here is a story of a man who cheating on his girlfriend for 3 years and finally got caught because of a photo on Facebook. Judging by the story he had everything else down pat.

Somebody on Alpha Game posted that the way to handle women is to preface every sentence they say with "Right now, I feel that..."
It works here. "Right now, I feel that looking back, I was never happy..."
Makes perfect sense.

Basilransom: Nice way to put it. What you describe is the very definition of cognitive dissonance: changing facts to suit ones overarching ideology or mindset, skewing events so that they suit her newfound "wisdom" that it was not love....
