I just brought over 2 pair of khaki shorts, 1 pair basketball shorts, 1 pair boardshorts and when I flew over I wore some lighweight travel pants that I haven't touched since I got here.

Dont bring but 1 or 2 t-shirts. I made the mistake of bringing 4 t-shirts and somehow I have 12 now. If you like v-necks and graphic tee shirts they are everywhere for as low as 100baht which is like $3.30

I wanted to go raw dog again so I called up the sure thing that I knew was clean and invited her over to my new hotel. We hung out here for about 10 minutes and then head to terminal 21 to eat. Anyways I went to Chatuchak market with some girl on Saturday. The place was massive and prices are very cheap. Then went to her apartment building that all her friends live in as well. It was funny because all her friends would mention us fucking and giggle like 14 year olds, she later told me that all of them except for one were all virgins lol. We went out to some local bar at a night market with live music where we ordered a bottle and mixers it cost me 145 baht. Nice, that's pretty close to what I wear usually (even down to the beeswax Clarks). Good to hear it's doable in the heat.

Yeah. I live here so I brought over a backpack and a 50lb suitcase. If I had to work out of a backpack I would bring a pair of chinos, some v necks, and one or two nice button ups.

Murrb, you're doing it wrong. Sorry to be blunt. It seems to be a trend in this thread, as in, it's not just you. On the issues at hand:

1) stop using Thai Friendly. I don't care about "pipelining" even for a short trip. I've said it before - one of the reasons Thailand is so great is because "normal" game, ie approaching girls in the mall, a club, a bar, etc is a bit easier than it is elsewhere. Thai girls are very receptive to a reasonably dressed, smiling foreigner approaching them just about anywhere. You can show up to Thailand, even if it's for a short trip, and get several phone numbers and instant or future dates within a couple hours of arriving if you throw on clothes like Rio mentioned and walk around any of the giant malls, restaurants, bars, etc. with a smile on your face and do some approaching - instant social life, no "pipelining" needed. Guess what? The girls will be MUCH better looking, and you can visually screen them in person, and in conversation. Perhaps it is a whole separate thread, but I'm sick of hearing about guys' stupid encounters with very average (at best) girls from Thai Friendly. You could bang average girls from Plenty of Fish at home! Playing the TF game versus hitting the daygame and/or RCA, Thonglor etc at night is borderline criminal in BKK.

2) Stop banging pros and semi-pros. AND raw-dogging them? C'mon. Stay out of Insomnia, stay out of Taipan in Phuket. If you have to question whether they're a pro or not, you're doing it wrong. In Bangkok, this thread and others have plenty of intel on where you can venture away from P4P-land. For Phuket, pick up a local magazine and try some of the hip spots mentioned, or rent a bike and drive around the smaller beaches til you find some cooler looking joints, or hit the creative coffee shops in Phuket Town, or ask a girl in a mall where she likes to hang out with her friends. As soon as you get away from P4P, you'll discover a much sweeter, much more alluring Thai femininity, and you won't have problems like "she said go buy beers for me if I want to bang her for free."

3) What the hell is this theme in this thread of comparing how much different girls are willing to pay for you? It's great if a girl you meet offers to pick up the tab or split the bill but in this thread it seems like people think they should get a damn gold medal for it. If you've picked up a girl in almost any context, especially non-P4P, you ought to show her a good time and not think twice about paying. I understand Thailand can be a "budget" destination but people shouldn't come if they're going to cringe at taking a girl for a $10 meal, much less a $10 cocktail at a nicer rooftop venue or something.
