Great intel Intl Swagger. This is definitely now a place to consider for my November trip. I was considering not going because of the weather, but you make a great point about the women dressing to the nines and wanting a warm body to keep them warm.

Excellent report. I've been to Prague before on two short occasions. The 2nd visit was because I thought about doing a graduate program there while perhaps working, but I decided not to settle...decision worked out. I think this is actually a much better place to live in than visit. I built a lot of good contacts here, which eventually lead me into Eastern Poland year and a half later for that first flag. Even made out with some chicks at Bombay, but could not close.
Here's my list of Pros & Cons about being in Prague:
Cons:
1) Nightlife is pretty cheesy, lacking, touristy, and subpar.
2) Czech women are really not as stylish as Polish women. Definitely a stiffer demeanor.
3) Locals can be pretty rude & blunt at first.
4) Scene is kind of past it's prime as a city that has hit it's peak.
Pros:
1) IMO still a great place to live if you ever have the chance to study/work there.
2) Great couchsurfing scene where you'll meet a lot of cool girls/guys who can introduce you to their other friends outside of the CS scene.
3) Those chicks from Russia, small Czech towns, Slovakia, and Ukraine? Yeah get to know them. They're your best shot at lays, and there are TONS of them in Prague. Having a tough time with local chicks from Prague? They will also funnel you into their circle of friends if you live here thus equaling magic. Same applies if you meet even a dude from aforementioned country bc he will know chicks that will be DTF eventually. The good news about all these other Slavs moving into Prague is that this is still their best chance to apparently get a more "westernized" education, and that will not be changing anytime in the future.
4) Locals can be blunt and rude at first, but they will open up and be exponentially nicer to you after say a 2nd/3rd interaction. That includes the females who give you the apparent bitch shield for no reason at first but then will open up.
5) Dress stylish and don't travel there in packs like your average tourist that goes there..what Intl Swagger said...that'll help big time.
6) A lot of these tips and pros are dependent upon you learning some of the local language as well.
7) If I had to choose, I'd much rather live here than Budapest, where the social circles are exponentially tougher to infiltrate.
Overall, I'm tired of this place as there are other cities in Central/Eastern Europe I'd like to visit or spend more time in. I still think it's a scene that has hit it's peak, but the X-factor is all these other Eastern/Central Europeans relocating here who will enhance your experience in many different ways thus making it still a great place to live for some time.

Guys I am in prague now went to James dean last night-not bad but kind of a sausage fest. Bombay bar is also pretty cheesy.
Any ideas for Sunday and Monday? I am actually thinking music clubs would be chill.

Excellent report, one thing I'd like to pull out of this is what you said and G underlined about how you roll solo, have fun and just keep approaching.
I've met a couple of players who have this mo, the rejections roll off them like water off a ducks back and it's straight onto the next girl.
I'm interested to hear if you were always like this or it was something that you learned to get better at?

Brilliant data sheet, I've always wanted to go to Prague and if I do in the near future this thread will be very useful. I'm curious, is International Swagger black?

Prague is definitely on my list of potential cities to live in this summer. Many have said the best time of year is Fall or Spring. Anyone been there in the summer?
Does the city clear out? Are locals less receptive to foreigners due to the sheer number of tourists? Keep in mind that I'd be living in a nice apartment with excellent location. Cost would be less of a factor.

It's like this. All the hot young girls you see swanning around in the day will be 18 year old Russian students. The tall leggy types will be Slovakians either working as dancers or waitresses. THe Czechs are nothing to write home about. Luckily I came in the new year so there were absolutely no tourists. I am already starting to notice the vibe of the city changing now that they are flooding back.
Ultimately nighttime is a sausage fest but it ain't that bad. I can sense things are about to change for the worse (ie stag doos). I have had some success but I have also fucked up here more than any other place in my life. It's been a steep learning curve which I didn't really enjoy.
Pretty much agree with Swaggers data sheet except I would replace the word 'fly' with 'average'. Sorry, I am a cynical old bastard.
Hot tip: Next to Roxy there is a really nice club where all the locals go (tourists don't know about it). It's called 'second floor' and you have to walk up a side alley to find it. Might be a bit cliquey but this is the only place I like going.

Intl Swagger,
In which zone would you recommend staying (or does it even matter), central in Prague 1 or out a little bit in Prague 2 or 3?

It sounds like Prague could be an ideal location to settle down during the winter months. Also I heard it's a popular place for Russians to study. Win.
Definitely a lot of Russians there. The Czech people aren't too fond of them though but that's another story.
Nobody in EE likes Russians. They have strong settlements all over Europe and it actually get's boring listening to the locals slag them off all the time. It is no wonder they get so cagey sometimes.
pretty true, except for the Bulgarians who do like Russians, and refer to them as "Bratya" (brother). The Russians saved the Bulgarians from the Turks awhile ago so that legacy still carries weight. Plus Russians have pumped a lot of money into the country in buying real estate on the Black Sea coast.
RE Prague in the winter, well although I'm sure its warmer than Moscow i have to imagine it's a pretty dank and cold winter there.
