South Korean guys are doomed

Looks like South Korean schools aren't afraid to give their male students a nice little show for their hard work and effort.

The reactions are hilarious, as hormones start raging out of control. Can you imagine an American school doing this for their kids?

Very funny. This is what you get when you have a group of NoFap guys in a room! In America, some of the guys would have probably attacked the stage.

I used to work in Korea back in 2003-2004 and it was my poosy paradise. As a Korean American born in Europe, it was as easy as dropping a few phrases in English and girls would be fascinated. I can remember many occasions when I was getting the cold shoulder from a girl at a bar/club, then said to my friends in English, "this bitch is not feeling me" and would immediately get them to do a complete 180 after hearing me literally insult them in English. It soon became a go-to move.

Just got back last week from Seoul, and as I go once or twice every year, I've noticed that competition is fucking fierce. Back in '04, native guys looked like trash: shitty fashion, bad hair, scrawny/doughy physiques. Now I go to the clubs and every motherfucker's got on brand name shit, hair coiffed impeccably, body from the gym, and they all wear 2 inch inserts in their shoes so they're all 6'+.

If anything, Korean guys have become way more alpha in the past decade, because the dating scene is ridiculously competitive. Just like guys with game in the US work out, educate themselves and are on top of their shit financially, Korean guys have to do this as well. I have tons of lee-spect for Roosh, but presenting a kpop boy band and seeing it as representative of the entire male populace is foolish. That'd be saying the US is doomed because of backstreet boys and N'sync. That shit sells records to young girls, long known for their inexhaustible supply of disposable income and rabid fandom.

To expand this further to all non korean RVF readers(the vast majority), Korea was never all that easy for foreigners and now it's even harder. This is a reflection of the growing political, social and economic power that the country wields today. Western culture used to be looked at as "all powerful" and extremely high value, but when you see Samsung products in every country going head to head with apple and your songs being played on fucking KIIS FM in Los Angeles, you're going to start to believe that your country is starting on a level playing field with the West.

You're always going to find a subset of native girls that are into white, black, middle eastern, Latino, etc guys in Korea, but if you want the top 10%ers that are on the level of what you see in the kpop videos, you need to:

A) Have a damn good social circle of high status Korean friends (finance, law, politics, maybe academia)
B) be good looking. No homo (as always) but most of the guys I saw at octagon club last week were at least 7's and above.
C) be able to spit some Korean (even if its simple shit) and at least lie and say that you're a long term expat.
D) be rich as fuck. Materialism is still quite rampant in South Korea although its nowhere near the shit I've witnessed in china.

Probably don't need all four if you excel in some of the others, but I have two well connected white American buddies pulling in banker money who keep themselves in shape and they have a hard time pulling 8's and above in Seoul. If Korean guys were as doomed as Roosh claimed, this wouldn't be the case.

"The whole point of being alpha, is doing what the fuck you want.
That's why you see real life alphas without chicks. He's doing him.

Real alphas don't tend to have game. They don't tend to care about the emotional lives of the people around them."

That video of the guy rolling in the R8 is a great example of how Western materialism and traditional Korean values are going head to head with each other in Seoul. Most Americans/Euros don't realize this, but luxury cars are particularly expensive in Korea due to tariffs. Foreign cars are 50-70% more in Korea compared to the US. So that R8 you can get for $120k in LA costs $200k in Seoul. It's even worse in Singapore as there's an effective 200% tariff on cars AND you have to scrap it within 10 years. I know a dude that dropped $890,000 on a Mercedes SLS there... and that's only because he bought a CLS 550 with it and got a "package deal". Fucking unreal...

May seem beta to some to use their wealth to hit up girls, but Korea's a much more hierarchical society and to a lot of people, if you have more money, they automatically think that you're better, smarter and higher value. Plus, the running commentary that the guy provides is priceless. He's gotta be a comedian or something, he says a lot of witty/funny things.

Galaxy,

If you don't have a good social circle, looks, Korean skills or money, I would aim lower and stick to bars in Hongdae and Itaewon that attract a lot of foreigners. It'll be easier for you to use English and to pick up on women who rank in the 5-7 range. Again, I don't know anything about you, so whether or not you're with it is up to you.

At the risk of sounding like a racist, I've noticed that invariably with my American friends who have hardcore yellow fever, they tend to like girls that many Korean men don't like in the first place... so maybe that's an inefficiency you can exploit.

I think everyone gets yellow/black/latina/etc fever from their good sexual experiences. I wasn't that into black or asian chicks until I had sex with them, now I'm into them.

If she is ugly as fuck from asian guy's view (very slanted eyes, high cheekbone etc), she will do better in the states.

They all say, 'I wasn't even getting attentions in my country. I go to school here now. guys ask my ## all the time, yells at me on street. what's going on??'

I don't even try to waste my time with asian chicks.
I give them 5 but white men next to me, will give her 8.
how am I supposed to deal with her attitude?

If you're in Seoul, it's going to be easier to bang girls that you're attracted to but that the native Korean guys aren't. If anything it gives her an incentive to lay it out for you.

I've found the reverse to be true here in the states to my disadvantage. Most Asian guys don't agree with me, but I find Lucy Liu to be really hot. I am mostly into Korean girls and Latinas... But when it comes to Chinese broads, I like that stereotypical "Ching Chong" look sometimes and because more white guys are into that shit, I just give up usually before I start.

Thanks for the advice, I plan on going to Seoul for a few weeks next summer, hopefully ill have the looks and learning korean part down. I dont know why i like the culture/girls so much, ive become obsessed with it lately. After working in North Dakota for a while i might try to get a job there and settle down, who knows though, depends on how good things go next summer.
