George Galloway: Assange Guilty of Bad Sexual Etiquette, Not Rape

This is why I don't like it when guys equate the political Left with pussy-ass, feminist beliefs. One doesn't necessarily equal the other. There's an old-school, manly Left, of which guys like me might consider themselves members, and of which guys like this cat are distinguished members.

This is the kind of guy you want taking up the false rape-allegation cause, not that idiot Todd Akin.

George Galloway: Julian Assange rape allegations nothing but 'bad sexual etiquette'
Speaking on his video podcast, Respect MP George Galloway says the rape allegations made against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange amount to no more than "bad manners".

During the thirty-minute podcast, the Bradford West MP addressed the allegations of rape, sexual molestation and unlawful coercion made by two women - which include having sex with one of them while she was asleep - against the WilkiLeaks founder. Mr Assange denies the allegations.

"Even taken at its worst, if the allegations made by these two women were true, 100 percent true, and even if a camera in the room captured them, they don't constitute rape," Mr Galloway said. "At least not rape as anyone with any sense can possibly recognise it. And somebody has to say this."

The Respect MP then suggested one of the women had claimed she invited Mr Assange back to her flat, had consensual sex with him and then "woke up to him having sex with her again - something which can happen, you know".

"Some people believe that when you go to bed with somebody, take off your clothes, and have sex with them and then fall asleep, you're already in the sex game with them," he continued.

"It might be really bad manners not to have tapped her on the shoulder and said, 'do you mind if I do it again?'

"It might be really sordid and bad sexual etiquette, but whatever else it is, it is not rape or you bankrupt the term rape of all meaning."

I agree with you, man. Don't know why manosphere leans conservative.

Yes, in women speak:

Bad game = creepy

Bad sex etiquette = Rape

Good Guy = loser

Bad Guy = hot

Poor Galloway is getting skewered by the left for his remarks.

Apparently in the same podcast where he defends Assange, he also talks about the nature of rape in general. He gives a very pro-man view, talking about how sex is not just a "consensual" thing like buying a car but instead a moment of passion where the man must initiate and push past a girl's boundaries.

Obviously the feminists will never support this

Digression:

The manosphere is inherently conservative because conservatives see the inherent flaws of mass sexual promiscuity, and conservatives have historically been the ones to embrace the monogamous lifestyle.

Liberals, on the other hand, have been the ones who pushed for feminism and free love. In the 1960's, there was no such thing as a conservative feminist.

Neither liberals or conservatives are without flaws, however... Liberals are infested with hardcore feminists, and conservatives are infested with uber white knight betas. Both are equally irrational.

He is, of course, completely right. I am just not sure if I would call the entire case a failure of Assange's sexual etiquette instead of a failure of Anna Ardin/Sofia Wilen's sexual etiquette. After all, they were the ones who chose him and went to considerable lengths to fuck him.

With great power comes great responsibility.
