I have recently returned from a 3 month trip to Colombia. I ended up spending the majority of my time in Barranquilla so I learned a lot about that city.

I am 23 years old about 6'1 with dark brown hair. Many people thought I was from Medellin before I opened my mouth. If you are blond hair blue eyed you will kill it in this city.

This was my first trip outside the united states. So when I arrived I had bad culture shock, if you are traveling to a place prepare for that. It will make it harder to game.

I lived and spent most of my time in the north/rich part of the city. I studied at a university and played basketball for the school while I was there. For the first month of my stay I lived with a Colombian family. It was good because only one brother could speak bad english and the rest of the family only spoke spanish so I learned a ton of spanish while staying with them. ~Some cool things about colombian girls is that once you have sex, they will fall and fall hard. Not once after sex did the girl not want to see me during every bit of free time she had. After I got my apartment it became a very rare occurrence that somebody was not sleeping in my bed with me. Colombian girls start out very flaky, but after sex they want to be with you all the time. They would always mention wanting to be novios or boyfriend girlfriend eventually. ~Some important things to note are that my last 6 notches were in the final week. Its easy in colombia to get complacent, I ahd went on a ton of dates and got to the point where I didnt have enough time for myself and was constantly avoiding girls. But the last week I manned up and sealed the deal with most the girls I had a shot at sex with.

~There were two very beautiful girls that I wish I had been able to seal the deal with. And if I had more time I'm sure I would have. One was a 19 year old tall, thin girl that I had met one time. She had 2 messed up teeth, but if she'd had braces as a child she would be a 10. A legit 10. Without the braces though she was still an 8 or a 9. Just enchanting beauty.

I'm not a huge drinking guy so I didnt go out at night too much, so this is not my most knowledgable spot. However I can tell you a bit.

Frog Legs: Expensive, never actually been in there because it is always packed, like a 30 mil cover charge.

Trucupey: In the centro comercial portal del prado, which is in the central part of barranquilla so its where you'll get to see alot of the pretty but poor girls.

Clubs on calle 84 - There are a few bars around this area, and a decent amount of people out.

Be careful asking about clubs or bars. There are certain ones that are full of old people as going to these is not just a younger generation thing like it is in the states, and probably most places are for the older generation.

Daygame spots
There are 3 centro comercials I frequented. Americano, portal del prado, and Buenavista.

Americano was smaller but close to my apartmentment, good place for a date as it has a movie theater and places to eat.

Portal del prado is the bigger poor area mall and it is very close to 3 universities.

Buena Vista is the rich mall in the rich part of town. If you go there during a saturday afternoon, I can promise you that you will see more pretty girls than you have seen in your life.

Cool tourist spots
The beach is only 15 minutes away from barranquilla. It's not a great beach but its not as horrible as I was led to believe either.

Cartegena is 2 hours west, it's an old tourist city that's a castle filled with tons of history and hookers.

Santa Marta is 1.5 hours east and it's known for being next to the world famous parque tayrona. I would recommend seeing this at least one time in your life. It's the most beautiful place I have ever seen. Best description: Paradise.

Special Events

The Carnaval of barranquilla is the 3rd largest in the world.

Pros
Beautiful little brown girls (one of my favorites)
Sexual girls (Costenas or the people of the coast are known for this, however they are still not first night lay type of girls)
Very few gringos (You will have huge exotic value)
Very little plastic surgery (I can't stand feeling fake boobs and asses, big turnoff for me)
The friendliest people I have ever met.
This is a tropical place and girls wear very little clothing.

Cons
Very few people speak english (It's not a tourist city, so theres no need for many people to learn it)
If you like the white looking girls, there are not as many here. (I like brown girls more)

Sometimes too hot.

Nice data sheet and gives, those who have never been to Colombia, an idea of what to expect, especially in the northern coast.
What percentage of the girls you had contact with flaked? In the coast(Cartagena and Sta Marta) flake percentages seemed to me lower, than in Medellin or Bogota. You should have tried the... I will cook you dinner on the 2nd date trick, as it almost always got me the lay. Very few colombianas refuse that. What internet site worked best for you? I'm guessing since so few gringos go to Barranquilla, few girls from there, would sign up for Colombian cupid or am I wrong? Badoo or Tagged probably were better.
I am headed to Bucaramanga in July and it has even less gringos than Barranquilla and has nicer weather. I do expect the girls to be harder than las costenas, but hopefully higher quality. In the Coast, I got my share of SNL, but I do speak perfect spanish.
Nice job with your conquests. As your spanish gets better and when you are closer to 30, you should be able to average 3 or 4 different colombiana bangs a week, when you decide to return (Especially in the Coast).

Actually the flake rate wasn't that bad. Actually at the beginning i was at 0% flake rate, but I wasnt take the same risks. I'd say about 33% of the time they flaked. But thats pre sex. Post sex thats 0%. I used 100% badoo. Their are alot of girls using that. Yeah man in bucaramanga you will have huge exotic value at least.

Barranquilla is FULL of busted dudes with hot girls. Everybody is so small and weight lifting seems very rare. Maybe thats all of colombia. But its definitely not like that in the states. The only competition i had from colombian men is when the girls who didnt tell me they had a boyfriend until afterwards. So pretty much 0

Yes Roosh costenas (barranquilla, sta marta and cartagena) are easier and friendlier, but the quality is lower than medellin or bogota. But the decline is evident in Medellin, and since i have been there 3 times already, time to look somewhere else. So that is why im giving bucaramanga a go in July. It has similar weather to medellin, 1.2 million people and every colombiano or the few foreigners, I have met who have been there, have good things to say or, at the least, nothing bad to say about the city. I cant think of a similar size city in Colombia where there are so few gringos and where your exotic factor will be at its highest. Plus, it is a university city so plenty of young talent. It was odd, that whenever I asked Mixx about Bucaramanga, in older threads, he never had anything to say about it and never revealed any data at all. And that is coming from the man, who has given the forum such a wealth of info about many parts and cities in Colombia (and is truly missed). So that is another reason I'm headed there.

Thank you for your great data sheet. I've gotta admit Colombia is getting higher and higher in my radar and will certainly make it there before the end of the year. For a first timer to Colombia, would you suggest Barranquilla as a good place? If not, which city would you guys recommend for a first timer there? I do speak and understand Spanish.

I partied with 20nation during this years carnaval, although I wasn't a huge fan of the city itself, I agree that the people are super friendly there and being a gringo is definitely a bigger deal than other Colombian cities.

Getting laid in Colombia isn't particularly difficult.

I used 100% badoo. I didn't go to Medellin but the people I talked to say Paisas are known for their beauty and snobbiness. While barranquillarans are known for there friendliness and being easy.

Honestly I think the only problem with barranquilla is if you dont know spanish. I think barranquilla was a good city for me. It just depends on what you types of girls you like. Here's the impressions I've got of the different large cities.

Bogota on average not as pretty of girls but the biggest city so you can find pretty ones. Tons to do and not too hard to find english speakers. There is tons to do in the city though.

Medellin the women are known for their beauty but also for their plastic surgery and snobbiness. Girls here are more light skinned thanks to more of a Spanish influence. Great nightlife though. As far as colombia goes a decent amount of people speak english.

Cali is known for Salsa dancing and girls with booties. You will find less english speakers there than in bogota and medellin. And its a bit more dangerous per capita.

Barranquilla - read data sheet

Cartagena - This is the biggest tourist city in colombia and is known for having more of an african influence in the women and in the culture. Many hookers and many english speakers here.

Santa Marta - Somewhat of a tourist city because of Santa Marta. The girls are costenas and are also known for being easy and being very friendly.

The Northeast of Brazil is also like that. Though, there are more pure white girls and mulattas. Though, it will cost you more staying and portuguese is a must for slaying there. If he had the same level of portuguese, as he does spanish, he could have done just as well or better in the NE of Brazil.
Novelty factor, depending on the city, would be a bit less. But IMO the quality is better in NE Brazil than the coast of Colombia, due to the higher racial variety, available to a gringo.
Both are good starting points for a south american trip if you have, at least, mediocre spanish or portuguese.

My Field Report:

Is funny how different experiences can be for the same cities. To me the girls from Barranquilla were the flakiest of all Colombia, even a lot more than Medellin, Also logistics in Barranquilla are terrible since everything is far away.

In Medellin (in a month stay) girls would show up 75% of the time to places near my Apt. and I would go from there.

In Barranquilla (in a month and a half stay) I had 11 flakes/cancellations in a row! ... I was so disappointed that I ended up calling two nice girls I met in Cartagena (non pros) and pay them a door to door transportation to come spend a few days with me at my apt in Bquilla and also go to Sta Martha (I could not score with a Barranquillera), this has been the only city where something like that has happened to me (out of many latin-american countries).

I would have stayed in Cartagena if it was not as expensive and humid, I like it's sleazy feeling. I found Barranquilla boring, too conservative, too hot, low quality girls and they were the flakiest of all Colombia in my experience.

Now, have a drink on me!

I agree with you 100 percent. Never understood those who loved Barranquilla. It is an ugly dirty city with girls who are ok, but not at the level of those in Medellin, Cali or Bogota. People there seemed the least friendly, of all the colombian cities, I have been to and the girls were not as easy as the paisas in Medellin. That along with the hot and humid weather make it a city I would not recommend.

I had a similar experience with the women there and over all didn't like the city all that much, I wrote about it in my Barranquilla carnaval data sheet, only managed to bone one girl there and she was by far the worst lay I had in Colombia. Overall I had mixed experiences on the Caribbean coast of Colombia, you're right about Cartagena being so humid, I much prefer the interior of the country even if it doesn't have the beaches.

So far, yes Medellin is still the best, of all the cities I have been to in Colombia. In 2 weeks, I'm headed to Bucaramanga for 6 weeks(more than 1 million people) to see if it can beat Medellin.
Heard many positive reviews from Colombians themselves, about the city and its women. So far, I have tried a few chats with Bucaramanga girls on badoo, this last week. First impression, is that they are a proud, attractive and probably not as easy than paisas or calenas. 2 girls kept on talking about how, in Bucaramanga, the girls are friendlier, more down to earth, prettier, less slutty and few plastic surgeries, than their counterparts in Medellin and Cali . They emphasized how paisas are so materialistic and only get their reputation, for being the best looking girls in Colombia, because of their multiple surgeries. We shall see what the truth is in a few weeks.
