Budapest Thoughts

Disappointing to hear Vorkuta (about the girls) I'm still intrigued by Hungary and so I have it on my list for my next jaunt through Europe which will be most likely this summer, or fall at the latest.

From what you read on the internet (more mainstream articles) and the history of the region, Hungarians are supposed to be quite promiscuous and open about sex. However, I'm not reading reports consistent with that here on RVF or Naughty Nomad, which are the sources I trust more--our guys with boots on the ground.

Don't let my opinion put you off, some guys seem to rate Hungarians as being hot so you may dig them.

It's strange,Hungarians are the only race I can't get any kind of take on. After a day in most countries I can offer an opinion on the locals but a few trips in and I've not got a clue as to what they are like. Let me know if you do go as I'd like to hit the city with a wing,it might open it up to me a little bit more. As to the city itself, you will love it. It's the best looking city in Central/Eastern Europe IMO. Stunning.

Vorkuta,

Will do. My interest in Hungary goes potentially beyond just passing through for a few days. If you are based in Europe, I will certainly reach out when I put the wheels in motion for Budapest.

Also, I have heard much about the a) architecture, b) great public transportation, and c) cheap prices which make it at least a bit more palatable if "other" things don't pan out.

I agree with you there. Hungarians are a bit of an odd, peculiar lot that I just cant put my finger on. As for the women, they are not the most attractive but they are can be very feminine. My first Hungarian girl I smashed (in Dublin) was a cleaner in the office where I worked. Mid 20s, almost naive mindset like which made her attractive. She was thick set with huge arse and tits and black hair. I'd give her a 6 but she was very enthusiastic in bed. Up there with one of my best lays.

Budapest is easily the nicest city in Central Europe. It was after all one of the capitals of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire (Vienna the other). A century ago, the Hungarian part practically controlled all of Central Europe from Rijeka in the Adriatic to the Carpathians in Western Ukraine. It was quite wealthy and Budapest was built on the back of that wealth and glamour. Budapest reminds me of a faded 1970s pop star, hoping to relive past glories. Its an architectural gem and its one of those places I could see myself going back again but not really for the women.

These girls may not be the best looking, but for some reason I think they are some of the best lays. Maybe it is me, but I find they do take time to crack but worth the wait.

Vorkuta - I have always envisioned myself living in a huge apartment on the Buda side. I figure it would be a good base for Central Europe which is starting to be my favourite area in Europe.

rudeboy,

If you bust out google maps, the following cities are a train ride away from Budapest and doable for a weekend, especially if its a 3 day weekend. All are 400kms distance or less (with the exception of Prague at 525kms)

1) Prague
2) Vienna
3) Bratislava
4) Belgrade
5) Ljubljana
6) Krakow

7) Timisoara
8) Zagreb
9) Brno
10 Ostrava

Czech, Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Poland, Romania, and Serbia all within driving/train distance.

The accessible countries includes many from Greek Kamaki's recommended list. I am quite intrigued by this.

Technics - yes man I am well aware of all the lovely spots around Hungary. Romania and Serbia are high on my list.

I still have not ruled it out as a place to live, I believe you can rent a decent place for like 350 euros a month with maid service. The main thing would be to find a decent paying expat job with some multi-national company, which I notice alot of them have been moving there.

If you are planning a trip there next summer be warned that alot of venues close a certain time in august. Otherwise summer time there is amazing, loads of things to do. Alot of locals go to Lake Balaton for weekends and holidays, there is a pretty large music festival which would be cool to check out. Also there is F1, if you are into that or you may want to avoid the cockfest.

PM with your itinerary, I will tell you which spots I would recommend.

rudeboy,

Yes, all signs point to the city being cheap, especially accommodations.

Good looking out on the summer activities. Funny you should mention the Lake Balaton because I was just looking up a few days ago to see if there are any summer lake destinations in Hungary popular with locals. I will look this up. Any others you can think of?

It's too early for an itinerary but I will definitely run things by you and Vorkuta once I start narrowing down dates. Are you also based in Europe?

I have found that the quality of girls in Hungary is better that Colombia's, honestly. I base it on over 10 years in Colombia and a whole 1 year in Budapest. I will come back there.
There is a catch you might not like. The uglier Hungarians love to go to clubs frequented by expat and tourists, namely Morrison's 1 and 2, Instant, and sometimes Ötkert, because no local gives them attention and a drunk stagger might. So people who do night game, like most of this forum, will think that girls there are not that good. Well, you can go instead to the hidden places in Budapest and see it full of girls that would be 8s and 9s anywhere. Or you can go for daygame in places like the university area in Buda, or Margitsziget, only to find they won't respond to you if you don't speak Hungarian. So, learn Hungarian, I guess? You could get lucky, I have an American friend there and his girlfriend is easily a 9, but he has been living there for over a year now.

Pd, the Hajógyari island (BedBeach, Dokk, etc) clubs have something funny going on, but I won't spoil the surprise.

Yep, Hungarians are an enigma. Not quite eastern European nor Western, not exactly hot or cold...but they have their own identity. It's like the country itself, it has no high mountains or particularly beautiful scenery but it gets a hold on you.

Pretty Budapest women tend to age rather well. They are looking good and maintain themselves sexy even in their 40s. That is perhaps their biggest advantage over the most other neighboring EE women.

I have been there a few times and simply love the city, however I was also surprised by the lack of nice women I saw walking the street. I was with my ex and was not able to see much of the nightlife.
It is a city I would seriously think of moving too, I have seen some nice ex-pat jobs there and see that the country is growing. I believe they recently opened a Starbucks there last year, which is a good sign.
Hungarian women on the whole are sexy and passionate, although they can be tough to crack.
Those house prices are fantastic, although when i was there I noticed alot of property for sell.

why are they tough to crack?

We dont have to forgot that the cultural factor is very important!Sometimes is underrated ...

If you want to have success banging high quality women...you must have an understanding of the culture...because of spending 5 months in Lithuania i've learnt that is very important the cultural factor if you want to succeed,if you don't do the effort...you will be considered as a "random foreigner" and you will only have access to average girls

no fucking idea why you guys found hungarian girls difficult and unattractive. they are the easiest in EE beside ukrainian. plenty of stunners too

daygame in shopping malls should work fine

the 8th district is gypsy area and could be tough, but i personally never had any problems there

colombia vs. hungary? i like them both. lived in both. also fully fluent in hungarian and spanish

colombia might be easier to crack as plenty of people speak at least basic spanish, while we hungarian speaking foreigners are very few

well i'm from the pannonian plains myself too and speak hungarian, so i found culture and mentality close

hungarians are either assholes or truly awesome folks
