Also domestic violence is not seen as an issue in Chinese society or culture. They call all these things, lovers quarrels or disputes and usually try to let them handle this stuff alone. It is a little bit of a surprise though because you would think they would detain her more than what they did.

I have even heard some provinces allowing several children as long as they are all girls - if a son is born, then that child must also be your last. Under those rules even 5 children are possible if he had 4 girls and one boy. Do you know anything about that Traverkai?

If you have the money, you can have as many kids as you want for the most part. Or more than enough. You just pay the fine for having an extra kid. Each province does have a few additional rules or so, but it depends upon the situation and how many males are in your family, or if you are the last male, etc.
