This worked for me once, saying something in Tagalog to a Chinese MILF immigrant in a Chicago lounge. We went on to date for a while. I don't think of it as a gaming strategy though, since I was pretty wasted and just threw it out there while getting drinks for my friends. And I can see it backfiring spectacularly if the girl turns out to be this Americanized.
