Sexual harassment is sort of like the evil, oppressive 1950s in the feminist imagination. Both concepts are only tangentially connected with reality, have no basis in their own experience, but never-the-less have an intense, consuming emotional draw.

When it comes to sexual harassment and feminists, I suspect 90% of the time what's really going on is gross, ugly women desperately want male attention, don't get it, and then concoct this imaginary fantasy world where wicked (but masculine, sexy and aggressive) men objectify them wherever they go. In reality, though, men ignore them and the brash, unrepentant, panty-wetting manly-men they secretly dream of exist only in their masturbation-material romance novels.

Plus, when street harassment actually does take place, it's almost invariably a black, hispanic, or other "diverse" individual doing the fabled act. However, as any good cultural marxist knows, those folks are beyond criticism (white men must have made them do it somehow...), so it puts the leftist disciple into an uncomfortable ideological feedback loop.
