Honestly, I don't mind capturing a snorlax. Times is hard and sometimes you gotta get it how you live.
I'm trying to improve my game as well so I know where you are coming from man.
But see the problem with snorlaxes is that you can't be seen with one. All the Pokemon around will take notice and flee when you try to capture them.
